Athena Boot - First year - Ravenclaw

Athena grew up in a loving household with her parents and her younger brother. Her mom's name is Jenny Boot, and she is a witch. Her dad's name is Henry Boot, and he is a muggle. Her mother told her father about the magic world early in their relationship, and he thought it was really cool. her father loves paranormal stuff and her mother always had to buy the daily prophet for him. he also played videogames with Athena often. her younger brother's name is Jason, and he is two years younger. They have a good relationship but they can easily start fights.

She lives in the muggle world in Essex, England, where she also was born. They had a dog from when before she was born until she was about eight. It was a golden retriever and his name was Pickle. She had a few good friends in school, and she was sad to have to leave them, but also thrilled to be able to go to the worlds most famous magic school. She is a bit unsure that she will be able to find new friends at Hogwarts, but has decided that she really needs to try, so she doesn't have to be all alone.

Her hobbies are reading and video games, but she also likes to try out different creative hobbies, though she has a hard time sticking to one. She is a bit disappionted that you can't have electronics at Hogwarts, because she wont be able to play any of her many video games. In the reading department, she likes fantasy books, but also books about science, and books about magic. She is interested in all kinds of magic, and she isn't sure which kind she likes most.

Her family used to visit her cousins on her father side on the countryside every summer, and that is one of her favourite places to be in. She loves helping them take care of the animal and spending time in the big forest they have behind their house She and her cousins also always come up with fun games to play while they are there.

Jason, her younger brother, showed signs of magic very early. She got very stressed out about it and thought that she maybe was a muggle, like her father. One time, when she was 9, she was studying for a test and felt really stressed, since she didn't think she would be able to learn everything in time. Suddenly she realised that the papers she was studying with was a bit smaller. They were shrinking! After ten minutes they were entirely gone. By that time she had got her parents, and everyone was really excited. It had been one of the best days of her life.
