Originally, I was debating whether or not to make Alora a Seer and explore that avenue throughout her time at Hogwarts but ultimately decided against it as I kinda have a few ideas about what will happen during her first year. Well, more what I want her to achieve by the end of her first year that is.
I'm very excited about it. I thought about making E a Veela, outside of here she has a back story that makes her similar to one but I wanted to be able to pick all of her abilities.

@EmmaLee LeDames: I know the feeling all to well nothing better than a bit of foreshadowing. Alora was basically a seer where she originated from as she's actually a character that I play in a dungeons and dragons campaign but there she is a druid (basically an animal shapeshifter) but in the campaign she's the only one with ties to the gods due to her not being of the world she's in now so she tends to get visions of important upcoming events through dreams and nightmares which originally I was gunna bring in over here when I was writing her.
But as I was deciding a few things that needed to be changed from her original character I kinda decided against it as to me it just wouldn't really make sense or do her justice in this world compared to the past. I haven't even decided on abilities she will get in the future yet as I am going to do it year by year which will be tied in with her yearly character development route but I do ultimately have a set idea in mind for her story and what kind I'd like for it to be over the next seven years which will probably surprise those who follow along in her journey in the end.

I went through more or less the same process. XD There's just some things that don't transfer well here. E was made on another Harry Potter site that had a lot less rules for developing a character. I chose mostly rp based abilities based on the job I want her to have as an adult and how I want her general school route to go.
