The sick and twisted
Verla smiled as she heard Howie and rinsed her mouth after she'd gotten sick. She hated the feeling, though she didn't know anyone else who did. She was sad that her friend Levi had went home, it hurt her. She missed him.“She does keep thing interesting.” Howie
Verla was surprised to see Rosie rush into the bathroom with her bag, she looked worried. She figured she'd ask if Verla was okay, and she was, though she didn't know what she ate or what happened to get her sick, maybe just the flu. Verla gave her friends a reassuring smiled as she told Howie he could come in if he wanted to since she was the only one in there, besides Rosie.
"I'm alright you guys, I just got sick for some reason, maybe the flu or too many cookies." She said and felt her face begin to burn, a fever. She was getting sick, and she had never gotten sick before. Now she was going to miss classes, and she couldn't do that. She was determined to get a perfect attendance, though that would have to wait until next year. She wasn't up for much else, maybe there was something in the hospital wing that could help her.

The sick and twisted
Rosie opened the door to the girls lavatory and motioned for Howie to join them. If he would join them, she would close the door behind him. She turned her attention to Verla. Verla looked... rough. Rosie frowned from worry. Hesitantly, she stepped forward. "Verla, come here, I want to feel your forehead." Growing up, her mother had nursed Rosie and Amanda through numerous stomach bugs. Years of watching her mother had taught Rosie the signs of illness, but it had also taught her how to nurse sick people back to health. If Verla was indeed sick, Rosie would absolutely take it upon herself to care for the girl until she was well. Rosie would have to put the conversation about their plan for Verla's family on the back burner at least until Verla felt better.
Rosie took another step forward and laid the backside of her hand against her friend's forehead and then turned her hand, feeling the other side. "You're very warm, Verla. I don't think it was cookies." She frowned and let her hand fall back to her side. "Was that the first time you've gotten sick today?" She grabbed a paper towel from the wall and wet it with cold water. After ringing it out, she folded it into a rectangle and placed it on Verla's head. "Hold that there." She paused waiting for Verla to take the reigns. "We should probably take you to the hospital wing."

Verla nodded in agreement with Rosie as she held the cold rag to her head. She was extremely warm and very tired. She knew that she should've stayed in bed when she felt as if she had a fever "I felt warm this morning, though I thought I could pull through it since I had to when I was little. My parents were strict when it came to getting sick, I had to be throwing up in order to go home, if I ran a fever, I'd have to go to school." Verla felt as if she were about to fall. She hated being sick.
When she almost stumbled and fell to the floor, she nodded again "I do think I need to go to the hospital wing, maybe they have something there for this." Verla didn't want to much of a bother to them. They had other things to do than to take care of a sick girl, which she was sure wasn't the first time for them, for Rosie at least. She seemed to have experience with this sort of thing, she seemed good at it too. Maybe she could volunteer in the hospital wing for some sort of extra credit maybe.
She hoped she wouldn't get caught being out of class by a teacher.

Howie didn't come in. Seems he was a gentleman (which, of course Rosie knew) and didn't want to break the rules. She stuck her tongue out at him playfully and closed the door behind her. Rosie sidled up to Verla and put her arm around her . "Put your arm around my shoulders, let's get you down to the hospital wing." Verla really looked like she was going to pass out. She was getting worse and quickly. This was above Rosie's skill level. Even if it was just a virus, they should absolutely make sure that it wasn't something worse, like the flu. Verla was clearly feeling weak. Between the fever and the vomit, she had to be seen. On top of everything else, the girl was paler than normal. If Verla put her arm around Rosie, she would move forward, firmly supporting Verla. If she did not, Rosie would move behind Verla, ready to catch her should the need arise.
Regardless, she moved forward, keeping Verla steady. When they reached the door, she used her free hand to push the door open, using her own body to prop it open as she guided Verla out into the hall. She looked around for a moment, spotting Howie fairly quickly. "Hey, can you help us?"
OOC: I'll send this part to Howie since he cant access this thread.
