Evelyn shook out her limbs; readying herself to swing again. She had been practicing driving the ball forward because her follow through often pulled up to early. That caused her to sometimes miss the ball or loose some of the power behind her swing.
She thought she had fixed the problem but her last golf ball had veered way off to the side from where her attended line had went. They were cheap balls so she didn't mind loosing them.
Evelyn turned around and fished another golf ball from her bag. She had forgone wearing her scarf out today because it would only get in the way.
Instead her hair was pulled back by clips to remain out of her face. After counting three deep breaths she gave a few practice swings then put as much force as reasonably could behind the swing. It was one of her better ones and went soaring over the grounds. Out of curiosity on her final distance Evelyn began to walk in the vague direction from where it went.
Luckily there wasn't many obstacles besides the couple hills and trees that obscured her view. So she was able to get a general idea of where it went without scouring the entire grounds. With that thought she sped up; hoping to catch the ball before it rolled to far from it's landing place. That is, assuming it didn't get caught in something or hit a bird.

There wasn’t much to do during the days of the weekends beside assignments. Aurelia had completed almost half the stack and decided to do the rest tomorrow. Aurelia had nothing else to do than nap in her dormitory but she wasn’t those type of people to sleep the whole weekend away. The girl finally decided to walk down to the grounds, there was many areas she hadn’t explored yet.
She had to skip down many flights of steps before she reached the first floor where she exited the doors into the grounds. Though not as beautiful as Spring a month ago, flowers still blossomed along the path. Aurelia remembered that she needed to gather some flowers for the blossomball so she could style up her hair together with her roommates. The colourful flowers roses caught her attention. They were still healthy and growing upright, unlike the carnations which was already withering. The house elves should be doing something about it soon before all of them were dead.
The girl pulled at the plant, trying to break the thick stalks in half. The thorns pricked at he fingers as if it was defending itself from her wrath. After all, they were going to die sometime if she managed to pull it free. Aurelia smiled as the rose finally cut free from its stalk. She held it in her hand examining it.
“Ow! Godverdomme,” the girl cried out as something hit the back of her head hard. She had instinctively dropped the blossom and rubbed the crown of her head. It hurt, what could have possibly hit her with such a driving force. The girl noticed a small white orb on the ground. A Golf ball? Aurelia had been hit a couple of times by ruthless bludgers in the pick up quidditch game she organised but it was never in the head. She was surprise she wasn’t knocked out at the moment, though she was sure a nasty bruise would appear soon.
Aurelia looked around, trying to find the culprit who had threw the ball at her. He was certainly going to get it from her.

Evelyn made her way over the more flower populated fields when she heard a rather human cry. They had been speaking in another language so she didn't understand what was said. Still, the connotation seemed rather negative.
When she came into view the first thing that she saw was a brunette girl clutching the back of her head while standing over a picked flower. Ooh that had to hurt. Evelyn winced in sympathy, she had an apology on the tip of her tongue for the girl.
"I'm incredibly sorry! That must've hurt. If it helps I didn't mean to hit you?" She phrased the last thing like a question. Her golf club had been swinging at her side but she propped herself up against it. The height was perfect for doing that.
Evelyn ambled closer. The thing looked like it hurt and she wanted to make sure it wasn't bleeding. But she only realized when she got closer that she had just hit the girl with a golf ball so touching her right away would probably be awkward at best and disastrous at worst. So she hovered there bouncing between her heels and the balls of her toes hoping for the other girl to solve the indecision.

That was when a short girl appeared from the ground below. She was clearly the one that had shot her in the head with the golf ball as she was clutching on to the golf club. Aurelia's eyes narrowed slightly, giving her a look which showed that she was clearly unamused. The girl winced at her, showing somewhat sympathy for her bruising head.
"I'm alright, but you better watch where you swing that thing next time or someone might be put in a coma." Aurelia shook her head disapprovingly as she picked up the small white ball and extended it to the girl. The girl stood nervously, unsure about what to do, after all, she had just hit an innocent person with a ball, a golf ball in fact.
Then Aurelia's gaze fell on the club she was leaning against. How on earth did she managed to stuff a whole golf set into her trunk before boarding the Hogwarts express. Her curiosity and impulsive trait, wasn't quite a good combination as the question slipped from her lips.
"How the flipendo did you manage to bring a golf set to Hogwarts? They don't allow many muggle items inside." She asked, with her hand still rubbing against the back of her head. The pain wasn't getting any better but Aurelia didn't want to step foot into the Hospital wing another time, she had been there to many times to count.
She apologised her tone unsure. Aurelia knew that it wasn't right to get upset even though her throbbing head screamed at her to do so. She knew it was an accident."I'm incredibly sorry! That must've hurt. If it helps I didn't mean to hit you?"

The girl was understanding, it soothed her nerves. So she wasn't going to get yelled at? She seemed to be quite the opposite. Despite her being annoyed when she first appeared she had calmed down and accepted her apology better then she thought she would.
"I'm alright, but you better watch where you swing that thing next time or someone might be put in a coma." Evelyn reached out to take the golf ball she was holding and return it to one of her pockets.
She inquired about how she had gotten the gold club and balls through Hogwarts. It wasn't a thrilling story like some other students might of had sneaking large items into the school, because in truth it was simple.
"Ah, I don't actually have a full set of these. I just brought the ones I felt most comfortable with because they'd fit in my enchanted suitcase. The golf balls I shoved in the pockets where my crackers usually go. These probably aren't all the original ones anyway." She took out the ball again held it up to inspect it for the little sharpie mark she normally made on them. Said mark was missing though, proving this was one she had bought later on.
"At least this one isn't. See? It's one of the ones I bought at a muggle store." Evelyn held it out for her to have. "I don't know If I gave you my name, it's Evelyn Moore. You can call me whichever you like though. Would you like to keep the golf ball?"

The girl explained. Aurelia's eyes widened, enchanted suitcase? That item was rather expensive but was useful for travel as almost anything could be stuffed inside. Her parents didn't allow her to bring one to Hogwarts they had said it was unnecessary. Her important stuff might also get lost inside the load of items."Ah, I don't actually have a full set of these. I just brought the ones I felt most comfortable with because they'd fit in my enchanted suitcase."
The girl had introduced herself as Evelyn Moore and even offered her the golf ball as if it wasn't just shot at her head. Even then, Aurelia smiled politely and stuffed it inside her pocket. She was quite friendly and it was obvious that the cause of her bruising head as just an accident.
"Aurelia. Gryffindor." She introduced herself. Then she looked into the horizon, the sun was in an glowing orange hue and it was probably nearing supper. The girl didn't feel that hungry so she might stay on the grounds for a little while more.
Aurelia then remembered her flower. She picked it up from the ground, but the mud and dirt had already stained it. The girl let the flower drop onto the ground once more. She had to find more flowers to prep her hair for the blossom ball.
"Evelyn, if you don't mind, could you help me search for decent flowers?" Aurelia asked.

The girl had taken the golf ball with little hesitance, which Evelyn appreciated. She had even told her her house! Aurelia crouched to pick up a flower. It probably had some color to it once upon a time but now it was all muddy. That was a shame because she guessed it was a pretty flower before the accident.
When Aurelia offered the chance for her to help look for more she jumped on it "Of course! How many do you need? Are you looking for a specific kind or color?" She didn't want to get the wrong ones in case there were different flowers nearby.
Evelyn decided to abandon her golf clubs on the grassy null. That way she didn't have to lug it around everywhere and risk dropping it in the mud. It hit the ground with a thud but was otherwise silent. No rolling back down, which was a good sign. She didn't want it to hit them. Repeated offences might affect the friendship she was trying to form now.
Her stance was comfortable now that the accident had been cleared up. She adjusted the clips in her hair so that they'd be further back and wouldn't fall into her frame of vision when they went looking for flowers.

I didn't realize that I didn't bring my scarf with me 'till I went looking back at my first post. Sorry for the inconsistency.
