I'm no goat milker, but I did see where some recommend a wide-ish stand so they can sit on the stand and milk rather than on a stool.

I also have some ideas! Colin and Aurelia can compete for goat milking supremacy!

Question Clair: is this something you want to build yourself, or are you looking for a commercially available stand that has certain features?

This is exciting! I never thought I'd come to a HP role playing site only to design a goat milking stand!

I built it with my father!
Took about four hours, give or take. all the wood is reused, the half he screws are new (they costed four dollars) the rest were reused as well
the cord was from a old halter that a friend gave me a few years back so that was also free!
hopefully tomorrow or the next day I'll try Holly out in it.
It's Brother tested and works!
We decided to leave the rails out because if We added them it made it floppy.

Yup! I asked him to help me, and then told him that he had to look through the gate, and then closed it and it worked! but then I was laughing too hard to let him go, and my Dad had to do it
