He began bouncing back and forth on the balls of his feet as he continued to pipe up to the others.
Apparently, the buzzkills in the tent were still set on being buzzkills. He took a moment to examine one of the Hogwarts girls--Lillian. She was pretty, yeah, but judging by her protests, she sounded majorly boring. Whenever Jamie tried to think things through, he'd get all distracted and confused.
"What's the matter?" he said, nonchalantly. "Scared of something?"
He was partly joking. Deep down, he had hope that these guys would eventually come around. Or else, he was in for a long month.
Stephen stepped in, and Jamie watched bemusedly as he addressed them in quite a mature and smart manner. A lot of what came out of Stephen's mouth flew straight over Jamie's head, but he nodded anyway, because smart people knew what they were talking about.
Then Stephen mentioned a freaking barbeque of all things, and Jamie's eyes lit up instantly.
He dashed towards the tent flap, almost knocking down a girl, who was in the process of introducing herself.
Food? Things to see? People? Jamie grinned and cupped his hands around his mouth to call after Stephen-- "You bet your ass I'm coming! Wait up!"
He spared a quick smile and wave to the remaining tent members.
"Bye guys! See you later--oh, it was nice meeting you Ramzy, sorry about almost killing you there-- bye!"
And with that, Hurricane Jamie had torn off into the wide expanse of the stadium.♫♪.ılılılllılıll |̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅| llılılıllılılı.♪♫

Lillian raised her eyebrows when the Durmstrang girl spoke. She was already forgetting some names, but that was probably because the girl had been mostly quiet. She clearly didn't like Louca, the Ilvermorny boy, for reasons unknown. Lillian's eyes darted back and forth between the two. It seemed Louca didn't seem to be holding any hard feelings, but the girl was intent on holding her grudge. Without explaining, she turned and strode purposefully out of the tent, and Lillian realized she probably wouldn't be finding out the reason for the tension any time soon.
It hadn't been a day and there was already a bit of resentment. She had expected it, but not so soon. A voice snapped her out of her thoughts. Jamie, the boisterous one, was mocking her, asking if she was scared. She glared at him, thinking of a snarky comeback, but changing her mind at the last second. "Scared? More like starving. I'm leaving." It had come across a little harsher than she intended, and she almost flinched at her own tone. She hadn't expected herself to be racking up enemies or being rude. Ramzy clearly thought she was, and Lillian couldn't blame her. There were a lot of people in the tent now, which she had only realized when Ramzy entered, and it was stressing her out a bit.
Standing up abruptly, she offered an apologetic smile to the people still in the tent, and quickly walked out of the tent. When she emerged in the sunlight, she spotted everyone else up ahead, and slowed her pace. She'd meet them at the barbecue but, for now, she needed some time alone. Judging by her uneasiness in the tent, she had no doubt that she'd quickly grow irritated with her tent mates. Now, hopefully, she could hold off on that for a while.

Lillian has left the tent.

Louca grinned at Stephen’s greeting, happy to know that he knew several of the people in their tent already, although there were still many to get to know. Louca thrived on talking to people so he was sure this whole tent situation would work out beautifully. Turning to the girl who just introduced herself, Louca said “Nice to meet you! I can’t wait to learn more.” Louca just caught the nod thrown his way, and nodded very nonchalantly back. He returned the hug that Jamie gave him, practically being knocked off his feet by the enthusiasm. He laughed, just enjoying the time, and ready for more.
Louca nodded along with Jamie’s idea. “I’d agree, we’d be awesome at that! I’m sure we can come up with something good.” Then he heard someone mention his name. Looking over, he thought they looked a bit familiar but couldn’t place them until they mentioned that they hadn’t been introduced. He was pretty sure she was there when the boats had tipped, and he had laughed about the whole situation not really at one person. “Hi Astrid! I swear, I wasn’t laughing at you or the other students. The whole situation was just kind of funny.” He defended himself but with a cheerful grin as he remembered how wet he had been when reaching shore.
There seemed to be just as many worried as interested in joining. Louca himself wasn’t worried about trouble. In fact it would just men that it would make things more interesting, having to dodge both those in authority as well as the prankee’s. “Oh! That would be a good one!” Louca could only imagine what the expressions would be as the prankee’s tried to figure out where the rain had come from.
Louca bounced on the bunk he had claimed, waiting for Stephen to finish his speech. He was very mature it seemed and smart to have come up with something like that, but Louca wanted to get going, do something, or at least move on to planning the pranks. Louca could definitely see him being with the more adventurous of the group. He was never one to listen to the rules, or at least not ones that wouldn’t mean anything than a light maiming. Nodding, Louca winked back to Stephen.
“EmmaLee, does that have a description of the events? They all sound very interesting, except maybe the Twirl the Flagon.” Louca jumped up, getting ready to join Stephen when someone else entered the tent, another girl. Waving enthusiastically, he said “Welcome Ramzy! I’m Louca, Ilvermorny second year. Looking to Stephen who had called his name, he rushed over to the entrance, waiting impatiently for the other two. “Sure, sounds like a good time.” His stomach chose that moment to grumble and he grabbed it, realizing he was actually quite hungry. He left with the other two, heading in the direction what he hoped was the BBQ.
