That's a very interesting concept. Speed posting sesh I had with Edmund was really fun. I have another one scheduled on my Tuesday early morning. But not a lot do that cuz u need short replies and long replies mean you can take over a few hours (or even days) to create them. Doesn't mean they're poor quality replies though. Me and Edmund were barely scraping through at 200-250wc but they were good quality writing for 12-20 mins of writing.Colin McCoire wrote: 11 Jul 2022, 00:10Oh! Although I was in art class once and the other people in there were complaining about the art teacher and how he never let them go 'get a drink' when they asked because he knew they would leave the class and never come back lmao! And I was like, "I can do that!" and they were like "He'll never let you go!" and I went up to him and said, "Can I leave and go get a drink?" and he looked at me and said, "Sure." and the other people's eyes went big hahahahaha.
And I left, got a drink and came back. LOL.
I think he let me go because he was like "Oh, it's Kira. She can leave because I know she'll be back." But with the others he was like, "Nope. Not allowed. I know you'll never return." LMAO
I got detention for a week >.> for verbally talking to a friend that can't use his hands (my old school, deaf school btw.) He was like me, hard of hearing, but everyone talked in asl and not verbally. I was apparently one of two that dared to talk verbally. Me and my friend got detention >.> for talking (verbally)

If you and your partner had the time, then sure! Speed posting is fun to do! But if yer like me, having to crank out maps because you can't find a decent priced tv monitor- then

That one is the detention that angers me the most. I see it as unfair.
I have recieved *many* for basically not being in the teacher's favor. Oh and I got one detention for a day, for wearing a long sleeved shirt in fall >.> It's not a private school, well- it's kinda one. It's not a boarding school, why was I getting restricted for my outfit- it's not even in the dress codes

I went to get a cup of tea and Edmund gobbled up his lunch and I managed to clean the kitty litter in between sessions. Depends on how fast to partner posts, you have time in between.

What if you don't know ASL?!
The only thing you'd be able to do is talk verbally or write!
They force you to communicate only through ASL to deaf people???
What if you don't know it?!
That's not fair to get punished if you don't know how to speak ASL...
Wearing a long-sleeved shirt in the fall... I mean don't you want your students to stay healthy?!
Fall sometimes can be cold...
I do want to learn ASL though, it seems like an awesome language to learn.
But I think it's pretty complicated for old people like me...
Still, I want to give it a try sometime!
