"What did you want to know?"
Sophia covered her mouth as she chewed, focusing on swallowing her food before she spoke.
"I dunno," she confessed, "It's just that you've been so nice to me, but I don't really know anything about you."
Her belly was full, but she couldn't stop her hand from wandering to the containers Hero had brought them. Before she realized it, she was chewing on a muffin. Hero would have to be careful. At this rate, she was well on the way to falling for the boy. The quickest way to her heart was definitely through her stomach.
As she kept munching, an idea crept into her head.
"Say, why don't we play a game?" she asked. She sat on the desk in a manner that the desk certainly wasn't designed for, but it was certainly more comfortable than the normal chairs. She crossed her legs and grinned at Hero.
"The game is called 'Two Truths and A Lie'. Basically, we take turns saying three statements about ourselves. Two of them are true, and the third one's a lie! It's a fun way to learn more about each other! I'll start."
She tapped her chin thoughtfully, trying to think of what she could say. It was surprisingly hard to decide on statements for this game. After a moment of 'hmm-ing', she finally spoke up.
"I'm muggle-born. Uh, my favorite color is blue. I used to have a dog. Which one's the lie?"
She smiled as she watched Hero and waited for an answer, eager for his turn to come.

Hiro nodded at Sophia's words.
She was right. The two of them didn't know eachother very well at all right now.
The only thing they knew were eachother's names. Hiro thought about it for a few seconds. Usually he didn't reveal much about himself, he tended to always cater to others. Since most people always thought of him as a nuisance they were never really interested in asking questions about him. They only sought to drive him away from them. Red was different from the others. Hiro was drawn from his thoughts when Sophia spoke up, asking to play a game.
"Mm. Sounds like fun. What kind of game?" Hiro asked, curious. When Sophia told him about the rules and how to play, he nodded. Well, that was simple enough and not too intrusive too. It was a perfect game. Sophia started and Hiro thought about the three facts she'd given him. "Hmm, muggle-born is true." He said, since Sophia seemed to give him that feeling about her. Hopefully that wasn't the false statement or he'd have lost right away.
Which would be rather embarrassing for him.
But now the hard part. Was her favorite color blue? Did she used to have a dog?
The sweater and skirt she was currently wearing was a soft pastel blue hue. That kind of implied her favorite color was blue. So Hiro was leaning towards the having a dog statement as being the false one. After all, did she mean back at home or at Hogwarts? If it was the latter, that fact was definitely false. To his knowledge, no student had ever been allowed a dog as a pet. If it was the former, there was a chance that was a true statement. Which one was it?
"Hmmm.... I choose, you used to have a dog is a false statement about you!" Hiro said with a smile, waiting to hear from Sophia as to whether or not he was right.

Sophia giggled and tilted her head challengingly.
"And what makes you think I'm a muggleborn? she asked, pretending to be offended. She cleared her throat and stood, offering a playful curtsy. In her most posh English accent, she continued, "I'll have you know I come from a long line of wizards. Very pure. Much blood."
Then she erupted into a fit of giggles as Hero seemed to be pondering the other two statements. Looking down she realized her horrible mistake: she'd worn blue. A lot of it. She winced as Hiro made his guess.
"I always wanted a puppy," she said sadly. "Mom was too busy teaching and preparing lesson plans, and Dad was always at work. We never had time to take care of a dog."
She returned to her place on the table, crossing her legs once more and relaxing as she looked briefly at the clock. Satisfied that she still had plenty of time left in the brewing process she smiled at Hero expectantly.
"Your turn, Hero," she said with a smile and a teasing glare. "And make it hard on me! We can even add punishments for getting wrong answers, if you want."
This was going to be so fun!

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Hiro grinned at her. Red was definitely someone he could get along with all the time and her presence was actually quite nice. He could already tell there was something awesome about the girl, even though he didn't know her. Sophia's response to his statement that her being muggle-born was true made him raise a brow. So she wasn't a muggle? Hiro believed her for a split second until the next words came out of her mouth. The boy had to cut back a chuckle and shook his head, that proved she'd been messing with him. Red's giggles that followed only served to prove his point. "Well, maybe you can get one sometime in the future!" Hiro said with a smile. It made perfect sense. Now that the girl was slowly starting to branch away from her family by being on her own at Hogwarts, there was no reason why she couldn't have a dog of her own sometime. When Red spoke again and suggested they even create punishments for getting wrong answers, Hiro nodded. "Sounds like a plan! You should prepare yourself for continuously losing then!" He teased her and tilted his head to the side at her next words. "Make it hard? Hm, that's difficult. I'll give it a try though." But despite his words, Hiro couldn't think of good statements. Maybe he'd just use the basic things Red had done. After all, it had seemed to work for her and the questions hadn't exactly been easy for him to guess. "Blond is my natural hair color. My favorite color is black. My roommate is someone who used to go to Hogwarts." Oh, there we go. Those statements seemed pretty hard, right? He'd chosen the right time to ask the first question because since he'd dyed his hair pink before coming to Hogwarts, his roots didn't show at all. So there was no way Red could tell what his true hair color was. A lot of people tended to guess wrong as he looked natural with blond hair. But Sophia hadn't seen him with any color hair but pink yet. How would she guess the answer now? It would be fun to see which statement she would choose. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

My Hiro
Sophia grinned at Hero's suggestion that she could get a dog some day, but she knew it wasn't going to happen any time soon. She couldn't bring a dog to Hogwarts, and it wasn't fair to leave her grandma to care for it while she was at school year round.
Oh well. Maybe after she graduated?
"Cool. I welcome a challenge! I'll bet that I can-" she paused, feeling an itching sensation inside her mind. The sensation that she'd forgotten something. Something very important. But what?
She shook her head. It probably wasn't a big deal, and if it was, it would come to her soon.
"Sorry 'bout that," she apologized with a smile. "Thought I was forgetting something, but you can continue."
She happily turned her full attention back to him as he gave his three statements. It was a tough guess to make.
Was his hair naturally blonde? It was certainly possible, though the color didn't quite suit him. Maybe that was because she'd only seen him with the pink in his hair thus far? Come to think of it, he almost reminded her of Kim, with his proficiency for coloring his hair all sorts of hues. Kim's hair was naturally black, but that didn't mean anything here, right? No. It was possibly true, so she categorized that statement as 'maybe' and moved on.
Was his favorite color black, perchance? It was possible, but if he liked black, why would he color his hair pink? Wouldn't it stand to reason that his hair would be black to match his favorite color? Another 'maybe.'
The last statement was utterly outlandish. Why would his roommate be a former Hogwarts student? Assuming he went to a foreign school, why would a student possibly transfer? Sure, there were obvious possibilities to excuse a transfer. For instance, she herself had transferred to Ireland from the United States when her parents died. However, somehow it didn't feel all that likely. Wizards were wizards. Surely they had alternatives to changing parts of the world and transferring schools.
That had to be the least likely answer, right?
"Hmm," she pondered, tapping her chin thoughtfully. Then it hit her.
Gillyweed.
She'd forgotten the Gillyweed for the potion, and she was going to need it for the last step!
In a quick panic, she jumped up and ran frantically to the shelves. She still had plenty of time, because of the long brew, but the thought that she'd forgotten an ingredient was inexcusable. She'd made this potion how many times now? She'd never forgotten the Gillyweed.
She found a head of the plant in a jar that she could thankfully reach and carried it over to her table.
"Whew. Sorry about that. Forgot the Gillyweed," she said with an embarrassed chuckle. "And I think the lie is that your roommate used to be a Hogwarts student. I feel like that would have been common gossip, and if it was, surely I'm not that out of touch with the school.
She returned to her seat and smiled at Hero. That had to be right, and if it wasn't, she just had to hope the punishment was light.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Maybe he'd underestimated himself! Although, Hiro hadn't thought the questions he'd chosen had been that hard for someone to figure out. He noticed Sophia's hesitance and wondered what it was that was bothering her. It had to be something, or else she wouldn't have paused mid-sentence like that. "Are you sure? Does it have something to do with your potion? You don't want to forget something about it, it takes forever to brew one." Hiro reminded her, not wanting her potion to come out wrong if Sophia was too focused on talking to him. He watched as Sophia started to think about his 3 questions. It was obvious from the look on the girl's face that that was what she was doing now. Before she could give an answer, she suddenly ran over to the shelves and then back to her cauldron. Yup, she'd forgotten something having to do with her potion. Hiro nodded when Sophia spoke of having forgotten the gillyweed ingredient for the potion. A faint smile came to his lips as Red gave her answer to him and he shook his head a little. "Nope. You're wrong. That's not the lie." Hiro said with a grin and tilted his head to the side. "Soooo... what kind of punishment can I give you?" He asked, with an arched brow. Since they hadn't discussed beforehand. Therefore, he didn't know what was acceptable. What kind of punishment should he give her? Also, should it be now or should he plan for it to take place later? If given a choice, he'd probably do it at a later date, just because he didn't want her potion to get messed up because she was dealing with his punishment. What to pick, what to pick. Hiro ran through the possibilities. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────
