Clumsy Club Meeting
Sophia's hand hesitated over her glasses as she began to slip them off, and into her robes. Instead, she decided to leave them on. It wasn't like Kim hadn't seen them already anyway, and Bailey's compliment was almost enough to make her like the glasses. She still wanted contact lenses instead, but maybe wearing glasses until she was a bit older wasn't such a bad thing?
"T-thank you," she muttered to Bailey with pink cheeks, embarrassed by the girl's praise. After being called 'Carrot Head' by Felix, and seeing herself in the mirror with her glasses on, Sophia's self-esteem was essentially nonexistent, but somehow every word out of Bailey's mouth always seemed so genuine. She wished that she could be as perfect as Bailey.
She reluctantly turned to Kim and nodded, "I, uh, I do have glasses, yeah. I'm 'sposed to wear them all the time, but I hate how they make my eyes look."
She felt a bit awkward around Kim since the incident at the Duelling Club tournament. She'd presented her heart on a silver platter, telling him all about her crush, and he'd opened up to her just as much, admitting directly to being gay, and indirectly to having a crush on Felix, even if he was still in denial. Something had shifted in their friendship, which was both good and bad.
They felt closer than ever, at least on Sophia's end, which was amazing. She loved Kim - even beyond her crush - and wanted to keep being friends with him. On the downside, though, her crush wasn't completely gone yet. She knew, logically, that Kim was gay, so it didn't matter since she didn't have a chance anyway, but emotionally, it still hurt to know that he could never be hers.
So now, Sophia was in an awkward middle ground of liking Kim as more than a friend, but knowing it could never happen. So their relationship - on her end - was a scale, constantly tipping between 'massive crush' and 'bestest friends.' It was hard.
Still, this club was supposed to be her outlet for escaping her clumsiness, and sharing stories with similar people, so she would welcome the distraction it brought.
She grinned at Bailey, looking forward to whatever stories the girl could offer. She couldn't imagine the perfect Bailey Glade being clumsy, but she would know better than anyone, and Sophia was eager to hear more.

Kim looked over at the entrance.
The door had opened to admit a newcomer that he didn't recognize.
A girl with brown hair pulled up into a bun. She apologized for being late and Kim regarded her for a few seconds. If she made eye contact with him, Kim would inclined his head towards her. But otherwise, would simply look at her for a brief time before returning his attention to Bailey again. However, as Sophia spoke again, Kim's attention turned towards her once more.
"Glasses are cute. But only when you have your hair up in a ponytail. Otherwise, I prefer loose hair with no glasses. That's just my own preference though."
Kim said with a shrug, knowing that everyone had their own preferences.
It was around this time that Mei seemed as if she wanted to speak with him. After speaking with her in private, he emerged with a rather confused look upon his face. "It seems as if nearly everyone is present now. I think we're only missing two members. But it's time the club's activities should start before it gets too late." He told everyone.
"You might wonder why I am speaking and not Mei. Apparently, I am now the new leader of the club. I'm not sure why but there you have it. Mei had to leave." Kim informed the small gathering of people and then tucked a strand of pink hair behind his ear. Best get things started, even though two members still had to show up to the meeting.
They still had time.
It wasn't as if they would get a penalty for being late.
"Let's get our first meeting started by hearing what clumsy things everyone has done lately?" He said with a smirk. "Please go one at a time." Kim added.

Clumsy Club Meeting

When he announced that he was the new owner of the club, Bailey smiled at him encouraging. She knew that he was probably really surprised and feeling a whole lot of emotions, but he was putting on a calm front and bailey was proud of him for that.
Then Kim said that they were going to start the activity, telling something clumsy you had done lately. Bailey spoke up then, deciding to tell only her most clumsy experience.
“If it’s alright I’ll go first.. “
Then continuing Bailey said
“I was sitting by the lake in late December, or maybe early January. I decided that it would be a good idea to walk onto the ice. When I was about 20 feet out I heard the ice crack and I started to go back towards the bank. I made it probably 5 feet towards the bank and then I fell in… Luckily James Owen was there to catch me. He saw me fallen and ran out to pull me out. That really is the clumsiest thing I have done lately… Though I have done so many other things. Does anyone else have some crazy stories?”
With that, Bailey sat back into her chair, waiting for someone else to speak up.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Bailey had been the first to speak. She'd told her own clumsy story, which was actually kind of nerve-wracking because of what happened! The story was more horror-filled than clumsy and Kim shook his head a little. Well, he was glad that James had been there to save the day, who knew what could have happened otherwise! As Bailey finished her story and reactions were shown by the other members, it moved on to the next person. Once everyone had shared their own stories, Kim nodded, trying to figure out what to do. He'd come to this meeting with the intention of merely listening to others and seeing how it would go. After all, it was his first time. The pink haired boy hadn't expected to take the club over. As a result, he didn't have anything planned to do for them. Other than what he'd already done. Perhaps it was time to end this meeting and do some research into what he was going to do with it in the future. He'd be better prepared next time around and wouldn't let the members down. Kim cleared his throat and raised his voice. "I think that's a wrap for this meeting, it went a little slow and awkward because of what happened with Mei earlier. But I promise, the next meeting will go much better. I'll send you an owl later with all the details." "Thanks for coming and I hope to see you again!" He said and nodded to everyone. Kim wasn't about to leave before everyone else, that would be risky as it might make him collide with others. So he waited for everyone to file out of the room and would then make sure and he cleaned up after himself before leaving the room. Of course, he knew he didn't have to because the house elves would do it. But he was asian and it was drilled into him to always be nice and neat in whatever he did, unless what he was doing required you to be messy that is. There were containers of leftover food and crumbs everywhere. The furniture was a bit haphazard too. Kim took out his wand and pointed it at the messiness. He made an 'S' shape as was required for the spell to work. And then he said the incantation. "Scourgify!" The crumbs vanished and the floor looked as clean as it had when they'd first entered the classroom. Kim placed the furniture back to where it had been beforehand and glanced around the room. It looked fine to him. He picked up his satchel and went over to the food table to pick up the remaining food and snacks. Placing them into his bag, he headed out of the room and back to Gryffindor Tower. Kim would clean the containers out with the same spell once he'd gotten back and would put them away for later usage. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────
