Ethel's Messy Mind
"What is going on in my head?" Ethel pondered at the thought .
The day was normal, Ethel was on her way to Care of magical creatures when she noticed slight movement in the bushes. She knew she wasn't brave enough to look in but she did. A rat scurried out of the bush. Ethel screamed. She ran to the abandoned toilets and screamed loudly, so loud that the whole of the UK could hear it. Then, Ethel cried. She couldn't face going outside now. She skipped classes until the evening feast. Her friends looked at her worried. One asked "Where have you been all day?" She dared not to answer unless the professors heard and put her in detention . She devoured the meal and ran straight to the abandoned toilets again. She locked herself in a stall and sat there trying to calm down. She new she was in trouble, she wasn't brave enough to face the outside world. After an hour, she went back to the dorms, trying to find a way to sleep. She hoped tomorrow morning would be better. She slept dreaming of home, her parents, the lake and her dog. She woke up the next morning feeling a bit better.

Ethel's Messy Mind
Approaching @Ethel Hallow

Simon was making his rounds on the Second Floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry down the corridors when he was about to pass the Abandoned Toilets. It wasn't often that there was someone in there, because, they were, well - abandoned, but he still felt like popping in to make sure all was well. Sometimes it was a place where some students like to cause mischief.
"Hello?" he called out, slowly making his way in. Everything seemed still. Everything seemed empty. Still, usually the stall doors were all opened and this time he noticed that one of them was closed. Simon didn't want to intrude on any personal matters but still, with this being one of his areas to check, he approached further. "Hello?" he called out again, repeating himself. "Is anyone there? Is everything okay?"
He was checking the area because he was a prefect, but if the girl on the other side would reach out and talk to him, he would approach her as possibly a future friend. He liked getting to know others and more importantly, he liked being able to help whoever and wherever he could.
In the meantime, while he waited to see if a response would be given, he glanced around to make sure there hadn't been new marks on the walls or anything of that matter.
Be kind to one another. (*iNPC is Miles Thatcher)

Ethel's Messy Mind
Ethel heard Simon but was too scared to answer. She thought about coming out but her inner sense of fear told her not to. What Simon didn't know was that she had also just seen her frenemy and was scared by her as well. She knew it was time to come and but waited. She heard a loud bang and went back in. Then she went for the evening feast.
After scurrying back to the abandoned toilets, she had a quiet chat with herself about her anxieties and her battle with depression. She then set herself a task, to not be afraid of the outside world and to be able to make herself feel better.
She knew that she wouldn't feel brave enough to cope but her wise side told her to never give up, never give in. She sat there nervously waiting for hope to save her. Ethel felt like everyone was her worst enemy but shook that thought off immediately. Ethel did after all hate school and maybe it was making her feel this way and act out on herself. She then scurried out of the abandoned toilets with trepidation at her side. She then went up to the dorms.
