I sometimes like mine but I do also have banners from others that I love love love. My Arjan banners are usually the ones from @Winnie Harper, for instance, and I adore them. There's one with a mirror and it's just so him that I love it.

The best thing to do though if writing RP, make sure that your text is 200+ words, before adding anything people say to it to quickly add to the 200+ wordcount- or quoting a song. After 200+ words is when I'd do that, so I know I met the WC, and if I have to remove the extras (songs, other's dialoge, etc) I'll still meet the wc.

Banners, I love using, but sometimes I rush to reply to things LMAO

Banners are just optional, to be honest. You don't need them by any means and quite a few people don't bother with them. Some of my favourite roleplayers with don't bother with a banner. Their writing speaks for itself! I just like having something visual myself on my posts but it's a personal preference.
