History: Born in her Ireland home, Wren was brought up behind closed doors and bolted windows holding shelves of books of paternal ancestral knowledge passed down from old blood to new. Under the insistence of caring parents, the young girl's adventurous spirit was wrangled sufficiently enough for her to develop her reading and writing ability, even to develop a passing interest in the manner of magical things.
Untroubled, unbridled, her free time (of which, young children have abundantly), was squandered away in the name of exploration: moist, overgrown creeks and shallow riverbeds where the fish went into a breeding frenzy... her fascination with the world around led her to many little discoveries that could only bring surprise to a child's innocent heart.
In our youth, many of us climbed to reach places and things we were not meant to. Whether it was the shelved cupboards in one's home, or the old gnarled oak on the front lawn, the wind in one's face, the elevation from which one could see far off into the distance... it was all too much temptation for young Wren to bear.
Most children learn their lesson the hard way, with a slip and a knock, and an unfortunate, heart-wrenching crack of broken bone. Wren learned hers as a head-first plummet turned into a gradual, floating descent. Shortly after, she received her letter to Hogwarts.
