Finn is quite skinny, he is a healthy weight for his age and eats when he's hungry. Finn weighs 73 pounds and has a height of four feet and nine inches. Finn appears a bit scrawny, with a thin and a bit of soft muscle from his adventures outside. Finn has light skin, tanned from the sun and appearing golden. Finn has dark freckles, these freckles cover a majority of his body and are lighter under his clothes and darker on his face, arms, and legs.
Finn's hair is a mess of curls; his aunt, Kory, makes sure that he takes care of it but it usually ends up looking crazy anyway. Finn's hair is a dark-ish brown, sometimes appearing a bit lighter under certain lighting but usually dark. His hair is bouncy and soft, and very healthy. It seems to glow and Finn usually needs haircuts quite often.
Finn's clothing style is pretty casual, usually wearing button ups and jeans when out and about and a hoodie and joggers when he'd just at home. Finn on the rare occasion will dress up, this is usually for holidays, visiting family, or doing something important.

Finn hasn't ever been afraid to use deceit to get what he wants, and he's never meant it in an evil way. Finn has a natural charm, one that comes with his sweetness, but is often used as a trick.
Finn is a brave kid, adventurous and always wanting to explore. He'll do anything he puts his mind to but he won't always think. He's often done reckless things, and has gotten hurt way too many times that he lost count years ago. Finn shows himself like a book, the cover is clever and determined, but once you read the pages, you see everything. Finn is very open about who he is, he's never been afraid to show who he is and has never backed down, or been ashamed of himself. Despite his slight self-esteem issues, Finn is proud of himself, and would never hide from others.

Finn has a water birth, there were nurses and midwives present and the entire thing went smoothly. Finn was an angel baby, he slept at night and ate most of the food he was given. He hardly made messes and listed very well. His mother always described him as a peaceful gift. During his toddler years, he was similar but very adventurous. This carried into his adolescence and he got in trouble at school a few times before.
Finn was very smart, and he'd learn things easily. He caught on quickly and made progress before others, but he had trouble paying attention and keeping that attention. All Finn wanted to do was go and explore, climb trees, play in the sand. He preferred to be outside than in.
When Finn was three he'd expressed that he was a boy, because his parents wanted him to be sure about this, they'd waiting several years before ever addressing him as their son. When Finn turned seven, he had corrected his parents and they finally decided that it had been long enough, and Finn was officially referred to as their son. Finn's name was changed, his first name to the name his mother had wanted to name their first son and his middle name being his father's. Diana refused to give Finn James' last name, and so that stayed Taylor.
Finn's first instance of accidental wandless magic was when he was six. Finn had been playing at the local park and was pretending to be a wolf with his dog stuft animal, the dog had floppy brown ears and was all brown with darker spots. Finn was crawling around and a kid came running, the kid stepped on the dog's ear, Finn pulled, and a tearing sound echoed in his ears. He looked down at the dog, tears welled in his eyes. He closed his eyes, trying not to cry. He didn't want to cry, so he wouldn't let himself. Eventually his tears slipped down his face, and he opened his eyes. The rip was gone! How? He never knew until he was told he was a wizard, but all he knew at the time was how happy he was for Lucky's ear to be fixed.
When Finn was nine, he'd performed yet another act of accidental wandless magic, making a cookie float and alerting his mother. Since Diana had known of her sister's witchcraft, she eventually talked to Kory. Kory agreed to take Finn, and Diana simply came up with the excuse that Finn had been acting out a lot more recently and she wanted to see how he did with Kory. Finn moved to Hogsmeade, everything of the wizarding world was explained to him and he got to finally view the magic he could posses. To say Finn was excited would be an understatement. Finn read all he could, asked all the questions, and saw all the things. He was preparred. He was ready for his new life.
Finn has researched all there is to know, and Kory has answered all the questions, and taught him all about everything she thought was important. Kory was the first witch in the family, other than Richard's family (who were purebloods). Finn got to meet Kory's family, the family that Diana never wanted to see and never cared for. Richard loved Finn, and Finn began to fit in as if Kory had raised him as her own. Finn grew to love the wizarding world easily, and is excited to start Hogwarts.
