Club Description
Founded June 22nd, 2022

Welcome to the LGBTQIA+ Support Group! This club is strictly for fellow LGBTQIA+ individuals, not allies. This includes anyone and everyone who is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is not a therapy group, but it is a safe space to air out your frustrations and struggles and to feel heard by fellow LGBTQIA+ individuals. This is a no-judgement zone!

We will have an open flood thread for talk and a thread for meetings. We will also have all sorts of activities, including book readings, exercises, and other fun activities to relieve stress and help discover outselves!

Rules

1. No bullying
2. No cursing
3. No deadnaming/misgendering
4. Be respectful to all members
5. Kindness is required at all times
6. Try to use gender-neutral language
7. Always sign your messages with your preferred name and your pronouns
8. Never give our personal information to any member of the group
9. Try to stay on topic during certain meetings
10. Whats said in the group stays in the group

We have our first book of the month updated! The ABC's of LGBT+ is written by Ashley Mardell, a YouTuber who's goal with this book is to help young teens of the LGBT+ community and parents of LGBT+ children understand themselves and learn important terms that are used in the LGBT+ community.

We also have our first meeting starting June 27th and closing July 4th. We will be introducing ourselves to one another and learn a little bit about one another before we begin proper meetings. The link will be updated morning of June 27th Central Time.
