Polaris is a pure-blood coming from an middle-class family. They weren’t necessarily rich but they had enough money to get around and also have some fun. Their parents taught them that everyone, regardless of the amount of ‘wizard blood’ they have is equal, but that not everyone will share that same mind-set.

Their parents gave birth to Polaris on February 17th 2010 in Derry, a beautiful city in Ireland. They were born and raised there. Polaris wasn't a difficult child, they slept through almost everything, and barely cried which sometimes worried their parents. In their early years they sometimes went on walks in the woods all over Ireland to show them the nature there. After Polaris turned four, their parents started to teach them how to read. Polaris caught on pretty quickly and the age of 8 they started asking books for their birthday. They enjoyed reading fiction as well as books about magic so that they could learn some things about magic, everything was mainly basic facts about magic, and theories about how magic had surfaced as well as some theories why certain people had magic when others didn't. They never deliberately tried or thought about using magic, especially cause their dad was very strict on the topic of trying magic before they went to Hogwarts. After all he dealt with the aftermath of people messing up with their magic.

Polaris lived over the years a pretty quiet life, except for two certain experiences that happened at age nine and eleven. When they were nine they went out into the woods alone, they had never done this before but it was a while after Leo was born, and Polaris wanted to be alone for awhile. Only they fell asleep in the woods and after they woke up it was already dark. Polaris was found the next day, close to home, but the experience shocked them enough to make them afraid of the dark.

The other experience when they had just turned eleven was that their mom got into an accident after one of her missions, their mom had gotten hurt a few times, which was normal for aurors, but never to the point that she had to be hospitalized. It was a hectic time and for awhile they were unsure if their mom would make it, but in the end she did. Even though their mom survived it, Polaris now worries every time when their mom goes on one of her missions that she wont return. As a result of this, they tend to be in a bad mood whenever their mom is on one of her work-related jobs.

Relationships Regarding Family/Lineage:

Polaris has a mom and a dad, their mom is called Amara and their dad is called Christopher. Amara was born in Clarens, a small city in Africa, and later moved to London where she met Christopher at Hogwarts. Christopher was born and raised in London. Both are purebloods but Amara's family was always a bit looked down upon by other purebloods, they weren't really rich or powerful and did mediocre jobs while Christophers family was more important. Christophers father had a high position at the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, in which Christopher followed his footsteps. Amara ended up becoming an auror but is not well known, because of what Polaris parents had succeeded in, in their lives, they have always had high expectations of them. They have one younger brother of the age of 3, his name is Leo. Polaris had in the beginning a hard time adjusting to Leo considering they lived alone with their parents for around 8 years, but overtime Polaris grew to adore Leo and they don’t mind taking care of him for a bit. Amara and Christopher are incredibly supportive of how Polaris feels towards their gender, as well as sexuality. They’re pretty close, but they do clash sometimes regarding miscommunication or just a difference of opinions. However after Leo was born, Polaris felt the attention shift from them and they started to do anything and everything to get their parents validation.

Friends Back Home:

Polaris was mainly friends with their neighbourhood kids, most of them were around their age but they would always try to catch little bugs and then pretend to take care of them, but they always let them free when they were done with it. The group existed out of a group of 4 people and they’ve always been pretty close.

☾ First Instance of Accidental Magic:

Polaris was barely 3 years old when their First Instance of Accidental Magic occurred, it had been an hectic morning. Amara was going on a work-related job in a few days, and Christopher had to finish his work before she left so he could be there for Polaris when they needed him.

Amara and Christopher were stressed, not paying attention to their surroundings when suddenly Christopher accidentally knocked his coffee cup off the table (one he really needed, thank you very much). Which is why he was about to say some words that should not be said, when Polaris stopped the cup from hitting the ground with magic. It didn't matter anymore that the coffee was all over the floor now, 'cause all worries were forgotten when Polaris accidentally used Magic for the first time.
