Great Adventure! PV Rose Conner

Rose had looked out her dorm window and saw that it was sunny. Rose was curious about what there was at Hogwarts, so she decided to go and see what there is at Hogwarts.

Rose heard that there was a Great Lake, but she didn't know where it was. She didnt really want to ask anyone either since she is a little bit shy, so she decided to walk towards the grounds.

While she was walking, she wondered if she was going to meet anyone or not. She hopped she did meet someone that will be her friend. She finally got to the grounds.

She looked around to see if she could find the Lake. Once she saw water, she walked over to it. She then looked at the lake and thought that she saw it before.

She then remembered that she had to ride across it to get to Hogwarts so she could get sorted. She walked closer to the lake, then she heard a noise, so she looked around her until she saw a tree.

She looked at the tree and saw a girl. She walked over to the tree. She then decided to climb the tree. She climbed it and then stopped. She then sat down close to the girl.

Rose then saw that she was reading, she didnt really want to disrupt her, but she wanted to know she here. So, Rose said,

"U-ummm, hi. I'm Rose, who are you?"

Emily didn't notice that someone was climbing the tree or that someone is sitting beside her, because she was to busy reading her book. Emily is the kind of person, that whenever she's reading something, she would block out all the noise around her.

When she heard someone speak, she knew the voice was a girls, so she looked beside her to see a girl around her age. She knew that the girl why shy. When she heard her name, she smiled then said,

"Hello, Rose. I'm Emily. I like your name. Roses are one of my favorite flowers. My last names Flower, so we fit perfectly! Well, that is if we do become friends."

Emily wanted to become friends with Rose. She saw something in Rose that Emily has never seen in anyone else. And she knew that Rose was special to her. She took note to tell this to her cousins in her next owl.

Emily then went back to reading when silence was back. She noticed that she was half way. She wanted to read the whole book, but she wondered if she was able to with Rose here. But either way, she went back to reading and she heard no more sound once again.

Rose noticed that the girl didn't notice her since she was too busy reading. Rose was sad when she figured that out. But once she saw that the girl turned to her, she was happy. The girl introduced herself as Emily and complemented her she was happy that she met someone so kind but she was shy to ask her to hangout Emily looked at her for a while and went back to reading. Rose decided to say something, even though Emily looked like she was interested in her book. Rose finally thought about what to say then said

"Thanks. I like your name too. I guess we would fit perfectly but we just met. How do you know that anyway? But I would love to be your friend, Emily!"

Rose then looked at the view and she noticed that Emily was still reading. She wondered if Emily even heard her or not. She hopped she did though. She wondered what Emily was reading and if it was really was a good book or not. So she decided to ask

"Hey, Emily what are you reading? Is it really a good book? Also, can you even hear people whenever your reading that book?"

Rose wanted to know so bad so she waited for Emily to ask, even if she had to wait forever. She hopped that wasn't the case though.

Emily continued on reading. She only stopped when she heard Rose speak. She listened then thought about what to say. After thinking for awhile Emily finally said,

"Thanks! I just have a feeling. My cousins told me that if either my first name or my last name fits with someone else's name, we'll fit perfectly and we'll be friends forever! I hope their right tho. Also, why don't we be friends! What d'you like to do? Who knows, we might be like twins!"

Emily smiled at Rose. She then turned back to her book. She looked to see when she'd be on the next chapter and she noticed that she was almost there, so she went back to reading. After she finished reading the chapter, she put her bookmark on the page she was on and she put the boom away.

Then she heard Rose speak again. She listened then pulled her book back out and showed her the book. Then Emily said,

"I'm reading a manga called Bakuman. Its a very good book. Manga is a Japanese style comic book, btw. Its about two boys wanting to become manga artists, so they team up to work on making manga together. I can hear people but I just don't really feel like talking. Whenever I'm reading, all noise leaves my ears and I just focus on the book. Its hard to explain."

Emily wondered if Rose even understood what she meant, she also wondered how Rose would react to Manga.

When Rose saw that Emily was still reading she was sad. But when she saw that Emily stopped reading she knew that she was listening to her and she was happy. Then she heard Emily speak so she listened then thought about what to say. Once she thought about something Rose said

"Oh, I see. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, drawing, eating pocky, and watching anime. What about your hobbies?"

Rose now wondered if she and Emily could actually be friends and maybe they both liked the same things. But she didn't know. She was curious though.

When Rose saw Emily go back to her book she frowned. But when she saw that she closed her book and hand it to her. She looked at it then she heard Emily speak. She continued looking at the book then she said

"Manga? Is it like anime? Oh, that's cool! What if the two of them don't want to make manga together anymore? Oh, I see. Thats an interesting ability sort of thing you have. You must like reading a lot then! Hey, mind if I read this book after you?"

Rose wondered what Emily would say. She also wondered if she was right that anime and manga are the same thing. But she'll just have to wait until Emily said so.

Emily was feeling a little bored since she wasn't reading her book. She then started to day dream but she stopped when she heard Rose speak again. Emily listened to what Rose was saying then she smiled.

"Well, it looks like we're the same! Senri and I have another twin!" Emily said happily in her mind. She then decided to answer Rose's question, so she said,

"Our hobbies are the exact same. Well, except for I like sleeping, going on adventures, and hanging out with my cousins. Other than that, we're the exact same! We actually can be twins!"

Emily laughed slightly at the twin part. She wondered if Rose and her were actually twins but they were raised by different parents. Who knew? Maybe they were. She took note to ask Kaname that, since he knows a lot about Emily's family.

She then saw Rose looking at the book and she felt curious about what Rose was gonna say. When she heard Rose speak, she listened, laughed a bit, then said,

"Yes, anime and manga are the same thing. I'm still reading volume 1. But im pretty sure that might happen in volume four. Anyway, if they have an editor, then its up to the editor to make them stay together. Hehe heh, ya its an I don't even know what its called. Kaname didnt tell me. The only thing he told me is that I'm special. Of course you can read it! I'm half way, so you just gotta wait a little bit. I could go back to read if you'd like me to."

Emily knew that she was saying a lot, so she stopped then waited for what Rose was gonna say. She knew that Rose probably didnt want Emily to read anymore, but she wanted to ask anyway.

Rose noticed that Emily was daydreaming. She wondered what the girl was daydreaming about. When Rose saw Emily look at her and smile, Rose smiled back. Then she heard Emily speak again. Once she heard what Emily said, she giggled lightly and said

"Oh wow really? We almost have the same hobbies! Thats so cool! Thats never happened to me before. What about you? Have you ever met someone with almost the same hobbies as yours?"

Rose was now extremely curious. But she wondered if Emily was even going to answer her questions. She hopped she did though cause she wanted to gain Emily's trust and learn more about her. Rose then saw Emily look back at the book and she felt kinda bad for stopping her from reading. She didnt want to be rude but she wanted someone to talk to. She then heard Emily speak again. When Emily answered her question and explained more about it as well as ask if she could finish the book she smiled and said

"Ok good. I'm glad I was right! Oh, there are more than one volumes to a series? Sorry, I dont really know a lot about manga. I know a lot about anime though! Um, I dont really want to be left out since you'll be reading and probably will be paying a lot of attention to the book and less to me."

When Rose said that last part she looked down shyly. She wasn't always shy but for some reason she was now. She didnt know why. She wondered what Emily would say about what she said. She hopped that Emily would be nice and not mean to her.

Emily looked at the view again. She was still kinda bored but she had to deal with it somehow. Plus she had Rose to talk to. When Emily heard Rose speak, she listened, then said,

"Yes, really! I know right! Also, why will I be lying to you about that? I'm trying to get to know you, so I won't lie to you. No, thats never happened to me either. Wait, no it actually had. It happened to me and my cousin Senri. Everyone in my family says that we're more like twins than like cousins. I mean, they kinda are right."

Emily thought it'll be a good idea for Rose to learn about Emily's family. Emily only said one of her cousins names which was Kaname. He was the oldest in Emily's family. Emily decided to say her favorite cousins name cause she's a lot more like him and less like Kaname. Emily then heard Rose speak again, she listened then she said,

"Ya, you were right! Its a good feeling being right. Its also a good thing! Ya, the shortest series I've ever read was a two volume series. The anime's start off as manga by the way. Its fine! I can teach you everything you need to know! Or you can just read Bakuman. I know a lot about anime too! Oh, I get it. So, I guess I'll just have to give you the book another day then!"

Emily knew where Rose was coming from when she said the last part. She then saw that Rose put her head down. Emily knew that Rose was shy right now, but she didn't say anything about it.

Rose saw Emily looking at the view. She looked at the view too. She realized that she liked the view a lot. She then looked down at the lake and she regretted it. Looking down at the lake made Rose realize how high they were. She wasn't afraid of higths. She just never did like climbing up things that'll make her fall into water if she did fall. Rose then heard Emily speak so she looked at the girl and then said

"I don't know why you'll be lying to me. Now that I realize it, its not a good thing to do if your trying to get to know someone. I mean you can lie after you get to know someone and if you have to for a good reason. But otherwise its just bad. Oh, I see. How many cousins do you have? I want ti know more about you. You can tell me more about yourself if you want to."

Rose stopped there since she didnt want to go over board with the questions and with saying a lot. She then heard Emily speak again. After Emily spoke Rose said

"Yay! I like being right. It is a good thing. Wait, the shortest series you've read only had two volumes? What? Mind if I read it? Oh, I guess I should've been reading manga before I started watching anime. Hmm mm, you and Bakuman can teach me about manga! I'm glad you understand! That'll be great! If you do give me the first volume of the two volume book we can meet up and we can trade books!"

Once again Rose stopped. She stopped cause she said a little too much. She wondered what Emily would say to what she said. Rose looked back at the veiw but she never dared to look down at the lake.
