I know you...Who is she? PV Closed

This is a planned RP. Please do not post in this thread unless you are Scott Alexander, Mia Alexander, Arabella Oliviera, or Ami Procoppio

The auburn haired girl walked down onto the grounds, the wind making her long straight hair fly around in the air, almost like it was doing some elaborate dance. She was quite a sight to see. A little girl almost sprinting across the green grounds, shivering and pulling at her robes, which engulfed her body.

It was nearing the summer, but the frigid temperatures continued at Hogwarts. That's what Hogwarts got for being so far north. Even London was warming up, and Maye would send her letters with pictures of flowers blooming in their garden.

Mia continued walking along the plain of grass, the little green sprouts crunching under her boots. She was supposed to meet her friend-ish person, Ami, by the lake. They hadn't seen each other for a while, not since they ran into each other in the library. But she was no where to be found.

Turning her head to look at the lake, Mia started speed walking towards a patch of grass under a tree. It looked nice, and the limbs provided a nice shade. It was almost inhuman how much she got burnt, even in the summer.

She approached the base of the tree and sat down, smoothing her now wild hair. Ami had said to meet her by the Gobstones club, and there it was, all gleaming, chatter emanating from it. She smiled. She had single-handedly founded it, Aravis had helped a bit, but it was mostly her. Before it was just a large clearing with boards. Now it was a place of excitement.

She looked around, getting impatient. Ami wasn't a late person, or so she thought, and it wasn't like Mia didn't see her. She was unique, with auburn hair a similar shade to Mia and long, long limbs. She also had quite the grown up face, and a stride that was well...it was grown up. Mia wondered where she got it from.

Most eleven-year-olds knew better than to drop the f-bomb. Hell, most twelve-year-olds knew better than to do so, especially at a school, but Ami, a fresh-faced twelve-year-old, simply had no regard for such manners. Cursing loudly and not caring who heard, she flipped the hood of her hunting jacket off her head and began sprinting towards the lake. You're late, you dumb, dumb, idiot... all because of that damn piano. Again.

Yes, the piano in the rehearsal room had been the culprit of her tardiness- again. The Hufflepuff found herself pulled towards its black and white keys time and time again, repeatedly making her late for classes and meetings; today seemed to be no exception. Ami hated to see Mia upset, and doing so now would be especially risky, considering... considering that thing she had planned.

Slowing to an appropriate pace, Ami strode down to the lake with long strides, her long legs seeming to stretch on forever and ever. "Mia!" she called, waving at her Slytherin friend. "Good to see you!" Slowing to a casual stroll, she joined Mia at the base of the tree, smoothing her own hair down, not even attempting to tame it. "Lovely day, isn't it?" she remarked, addressing the calm weather outside. "Slight nip, but the sun's out, so that's nice."

Although he couldn't chip in with anything interesting to say, having conversations about quidditch was one of his favourite things to do. With whoever, really, because it seemed like the sport had somehow lit an ardent fire within every kid he'd met so far. Arabella, no exception.

They'd been walking along outside together, and she'd been chatting on about everything from the rules of the game and how they differ from league to league, to her favourite team and players. She was wearing less clothes than him, and Scott would say, if he were more poetic, that her intramural fire was keeping her warm in the chilly weather.

He didn't, though. He nodded, laughed and looked around the beautiful grounds, instead.

The lake was of course not frozen anymore, still he found no difficulty in guessing the utmost freezing temperature it must hold. But the sun was out, so although the cold of the air bit his fingers he could feel the calm sunshine resting on his face, since he put his hood down.
Across the lake from where the two of them were walking at the moment, he could see two students sitting beneath a tree. Who, he thought, would sit in the shade now as it's finally getting warmer? Not realizing he'd accidentally stopped listening to Arabella, and meaning no harm,
he steered their walk to try and see who they were.
They were both girls, he saw, either that or boys with very, very long hair. And one was a Hufflepuff, he could tell, whilst the other... Scott made a childish little jump.

"Mia!" He called out all of a sudden. Obviously there was no hearing him from this distance, so perhaps the abrupt holler was more to prepare Arabella for him taking her hand and beginning to stroll at a steady pace toward the two girls.

He didn't consider that maybe they wanted to be alone. Hell, he didn't consider if Arabella maybe wanted to be alone. But why would he ever? Who wants to be alone? The more the merrier.

Ami came up to her, smoothing her man of hair down just a little bit. It was almost one of Ami's trademarks, her long, auburn hair, and Mia loved the way it looked cascading down her shoulders, matching her long, long legs that seemed to go on forever. If only she'd brush it thoroughly. Then it would be more of a sight than it already was.

"Mia! Good to see you! Lovely day, isn't it? Slight nip, but the sun's out, so that's nice."

Mia smiled at her energetic friend. It was so nice to meet her, finally, but it was sad that it was such a cold day for the spring. Truth to be told, Mia didn't mind the weather that much, but she was worried that Ami would grow tired of it and want to go inside.

Just as she was about to respond to Ami with a polite, "Ami! How nice to meet you here. Why yes, it is a lovely day!" or some rubbish like that, it must have been an American thing, talking about the weather, she caught sight of a very familiar face.

He was strolling with another girl, quite a beautiful one, though she couldn't really see them from this distance that well. He seemed to holler towards her and then start walking towards her, dragging the poor girl along with him.

Mia looked towards Ami uncertainly, and then back to the boy. She could excuse herself, but that would have been a bit rude and prickish. Mia did not want to be a prick towards Ami, a kind, generous girl, that was one of her few friends at Hogwarts. So she stood up.

"Yes. Quite nippy. Do you mind if we walk a bit? Helps with the cold."

Mia smiled at the auburn haired beauty, and gestured towards the boy she was pretty sure was Scott, and the other girl. If that was his girlfriendhe would never hear the end of it. If not, it would be nice to meet his friend. Scott's friends were almost always tolerable.

"W- w- walking! Yeah, sure!" Ami laughed nervously, paling slightly at the sight of... of human interaction. Why on earth would anyone want to willingly talk to new people? With a pained smile, Ami trotted after Mia's retreating figure towards the other pair rapidly coming in their direction.

I'm going to assume that Scott and Ami already had their secret meeting, so let's just go with that.

To her shock, the boy was Scott. Her eyes widening, Ami's breath became more laborious, and she tried to calm herself down. Frick, frick, frick. This was bad, really bad... hopefully, Scott would hold his tongue, and the two could pretend they'd never met before. Yes, that worked. Desperately, Ami made eye-contact with the Gryffindor boy from, like, 50 feet away, and raised her eyebrows, praying Mia didn't see. If they gave the game away, it would be catastrophic.

"Um... Mia?" Ami asked nervously, nudging her Slytherin friend lightly. "Who is that?" She might as well start with that, if she really wanted to pull off this act. Also, she didn't recognize the girl walking next to Scott, maybe Mia knew? Only mildly, mildly hyperventilating, Ami fidgeted with her clothes, trying to keep her face from turning beet-red and oh my god, this girl was just a mess.

To be fair, Ami was a mess 98% of the time, anyway, but the stress from keeping a secret and meeting a new, totally gorgeous girl was really working its magic on her- and not in a good way. Dear God, please save me now...

It was Mia alright, there was no questioning it now. Her reddish hair was flying wildly around her head as she began walking towards Arabella and him, which was a relief in itself because the girl to his left was somewhat hard to drag along at his pace when she was both startled and shorter than him.

Though still beaming toward his cousin, Scott began to curiously study the taller figure catching up behind her. She had familiar, long brown hair.. and she rose her eyebrows pronouncedly at him-
as Scott's grin grew.

That was Ami! He damn near said it aloud, too, but closed his mouth again into a knowing smirk that on his otherwise so unaware face spoke louder than a thousand words. He quite liked secrets.
Firstly because they were secrets, and he'd never really had any of those, and secondly because this one meant he didn't have to greet her by her name- which he was absolutely sure he couldn't pronounce properly. Ami... Pinocchio.

Once she caught up with his cousin, he decided to instead exclaim "Mia!" again, and then add "and who's that?" with a gesture toward Ami with his left hand, which meant finally he let go of a confused Arabella.

He approached her, and she drew in a breath at the sight of the girl near him. Sure she was pretty enough, with tanned, olive skin, and wavy light brown hair that complemented her dark brown nearly black eyes that sparkled when she drew near to Mia.

But she was more than that. She was an Oliviera. Pureblood, and from a long line of wizards, though not as famous as the Alexanders. But still. Mia could spot almost any pureblood from miles away. The community was growing smaller and smaller, after all.

"Mia! and who's that?"

Scott gestured towards Ami, dropping his grip on the girl next to him. Somehow she didn't believe that he didn't know Ami. He was easy to read, like a book, and his eyes betrayed everything. But she decided to play along.

"Ami. My friend."

Mia's eyes twinkled as she looked at him, giving him a look that told him that she didn't believe his act one bit. And that they should drop the act and tell her where they had met.

"I could ask the same of you."

Mia gestured towards the girl next to Scott and smiled at her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Yes! Erm, Ami, haha, that's me," Ami said with a small, awkward smile as Mia introduced her. She distantly reminded one of a new-born turtle, just poking its head out of its shell for the very first time. As Mia obviously already knew Scott, Ami decided to play up the act and ask, "Wh- what's your name?"

The Hufflepuff knew that Scott would remember their awkward meeting in the library, where Ami nearly spilled a nearby vase of flowers over him and just wouldn't stop stuttering. The Gryffindor boy, however, had been extremely patient with her and managed to draw her out of her shell- something she was eternally grateful for. Plus, he had tried to draw a dragon on her with a Sharpie marker, so there was also that.

All this will be mentioned in a future post, Mr. Alexander. Don't you fret, Mia, it's nothing bad.

Ami nearly died of immediate adoration at the sight of the other girl accompanying Scott. God, she's gorgeous, a part of her sighed, melting at the sight of her. That skin, those eyes, that hair... what wasn't there to love? Raising her eyebrows at Scott, she mouthed, Is this your girlfriend? Out loud and visibly, she smiled at the girl, saying, "H- hello! It's, um, nice to, uh, meet you? I guess?"

I vote we actually let Arabella reply to this, because she hasn't spoken a single word the entire time, which really isn't fair.

Arebella had found herself being put in a social situation with two girls she had no clue if were. Scott one her good old friends had brought her to the grounds excited for her to meet his cousin Mia Alexander. Arebella was horrible at social situations but this was important to Scott and so Arevella went along with it. As the two walked closer she found there was two girls. Shit! She thought. She could spot out out mia by how Scott had explained her and anyways she sefinitely looked like an Alexander. But the other girl... she was pretty with long brown hair that boys usually liked. Her anxiety grew until she saw the girl mouth to Scott.
"Is this your girlfriend?"
Arebella sighed in relief with a smile on her face.

She listened as the girl greeted her seemingly nervous. "Oh hi, I'm Arebella Oliviera." She greeted back putting her hand out for a handshake. Her anxiety grew even more. Having ADHD she usually over thought situations like this. Thinking. "What if I say it wrong" or,"She could think I'm too intimidating." Which Arebella never tried to be but it usually turned out that way with her being more outgoing and adventurous than most people.

Scott's mother had once told him that you should never leave a girl to introduce herself. It's impolite. You should introduce her to your acquaintances, and then share an interesting fact about her, something flattering that would start a conversation.
And Scott would have done this, he really would have, had he not been busy raising confused eyebrows towards Ami, who'd tried to ask him something inaudibly.

People had mouthed things to him in the past. Usually Mia or Ben from across the dinner table, making fun of somebody. He'd never been able to get it before, and now wasn't an exception, either, which bugged him. That is, until Arabella spoke.

"Oh hi, I'm Arabella."

Now, she didn't sound like she needed help, but Scott didn't want to be impolite.
An interesting fact, something flattering to start a conversation.

"Yes she is!" He said, face beaming. Then he began speaking all fast, the way he did sometimes:
"And guess what? Not to brag, but you're looking at next years' Gryffindor seeker, you are! Or is it chaser? Arabella, is it chaser? I don't know. She told me, so I should remember. Anyway. She can fly, you know, and I can barely get my broom to leave the ground. Go figure. What about you?"

Did you really have to do all this whenever introducing a girl? Frankly it was a little exhausting.
