Shoot. Ebony wasn't ready for this. Her hands grew numb on the slightly battered school broom as she flied around. No... both of Ravenclaw's Beaters were knocked off. She wasn't ready for this. What was she going to do? This is why you practice, for situations like this, even if you are a second string. Ebony regretted not going to the Pitch more to do more extra training, but it is what it is. She's playing now.
Looking around, she realised she stood no chance against all these strong players. But it's a good thing Ebony doesn't have many friends from Hufflepuff, because she will try her hardest to help Ravenclaw bring home a win.

They knew that their team was going for blood this round, but on the bench, Trix began to feel nervous again. Seeing that Ravenclaw also went all out scared them. They tried to focus on the game and caught sight of Howard. They cheered loudly as he scored, whooping and pumping their fist.

They winced as the players fell from their brooms and hit the ground. But when Jorah got hit Trix's eyes widened in fear. It looked like that hurt... What if that happened to them? They weren't sure if they were ready! A little flutter of panic rose in their chest.

Aly then saves Ebony! I'm using the same TP and UA rolls I did before, and she succeeded.

Howard was simply untouchable! No matter what was tried, he remained! Though, Plott could not provide commentary on THAT particular front, as Lavinia seemed to be completely invisible or something, as no one seems to have seen what she was doing, even though she did it twice now.

But, what he COULD commentate on is the vast amount of laps being taken by the naughty girls who thought they could get away with blatching.

"Yes, that's right. Take your laps. I have eyes like a HAWK! There will be NO
cheating in this match! NOTHING gets past me!"

Quidditch games always seemed to get a bit violent but Atlas wasn't sure she had been in one with so much clear aggression. She doubted anyone would feel great come the morning. But more than that, Atlas hoped they could all escape without serious injury. All she could do is help an keep fighting for the survival of the team. They just needed to give their seeker enough time to see that irritating little snitch.

Atlas abandoned her posts knowing that the quaffle had likely been forgotten. Instead she would try and make sure than none of her remaining teammates would suffer the pain of falling to the ground. Her eyes followed the chaotic action as she watched for some kind of opening.

This was mental. Imagine being River and being thrown and beat up in the sky multiple times. Even the co captain was down, and it was time for Winnie to play. “GOOD LUCK WINNIE! KICK THOSE HUFFLEPUFF TINY ARSES!” She said to encourage her fellow birb. All she could wish for right at that moment was for River to survive and catch the snitch as soon as possible so she wouldn’t have to play and act as a pinata.

It was certainly, at least for Aly personally, the least interesting few seconds for her of any Quidditch game so far. Normally she was at least doing something, but in this case she just followed behind and beneath River and Syl on their shared broom as Syl flew to return their Seeker to her own. Ebony was up above guarding them, the only Beater left on the team. Aly looked about nervously, her gaze dancing around as she whipped her head from side to side, all while keeping a close eye on River above. If something were to happen to their Seeker, Aly would go and catch her.

Out of nowhere, flying straight towards River and Syl, appeared that brute Howard. The one who had scored on her just moments before. Aly narrowed her eyes at him, sending all of the bad vibes she could possibly send his way - but suddenly Ebony was between him and Syver, and she was being blatched from her broom, the dark-haired first-year plummeting towards the ground.

No, not towards the ground. Towards Aly.

Spoken too soon. Things are about to get interesting right quick!

Since River was safe and sound, Aly swooped to catch the younger girl, taking one hand off of her broom so she could grab onto Ebony and yank her onto her broom behind her. Howard had been caught cheating and was sent on a lap - Good! It’s what he deserves - and so River and Syl were safe, each on their own brooms now. Heaving a sigh of relief, Aly turned to glance at Ebony over her shoulder, making sure the other girl was okay.

“Stay in the land of the living with us for a bit longer, yeah?” she joked, offering her a cheerful smile. “We’ve got a match to win.”

Another day, another blatch. Lavinia set out to blatch the “deadliest” player on Hufflepuff’s team. Going into the blatch, Lavinia knew it wasn’t going to plan. She didn’t have the right speed and was at the wrong angle. Willing it to happen, she let out a sigh when he didn’t drop off the broom. However, there was no penalty lap called for her. It was as if they couldn’t see a thing. To make matters even funnier, the referee made a comment that he saw all and they should be just like her. If only he knew how much he didn’t see.

Cecily returned from her penalty lap ready to rumble. It looked like her team was holding up against Hufflepuff's attacks. River was safely back on her broom, taking the target off Sylvain's back-- at least, for now-- although it looked like Ravenclaw had a new pair of broom buddies to watch out for now. At least they still had a full team in the air. They could make a comeback from this after all.

Stanley hadn't found the snitch. His hopes of a quick and easy game where going down the drain. you can do it, He thought, stop thinking so lowly of yourself. It was very true that Stan did not think highly of himself and would feel useless of he didn't get something right the first time around.

What he really needed to be focused on right now was the small golden ball. The annoyingly fast golden ball which would decide the rulings of the whole game. If only he could just catch it quickly so the other team wouldn't be able to catch up in quaffle scores.
