History/Background Story: Being muggle-born, Astor hadn't grown up with the different wonders of the magical world like some of his fellow-students may have. Up until his first instance of magic, he lived a pretty normal muggle life. He lives with his mothers, Julia and Holly, in a small home in Byker, England. He went to a small primary school, where he first became interested in literature and writing. He would spend most of his days in the school library, discovering many different classical authors and storytellers.

Astor soon developed a passion for writing, especially about whimsical and magical worlds. He had a small group of friends that he made through his hobby of writing. They even made a little club where they would meet and share their stories with each other. His passion for the magical and whimsical would only grow more once he becomes part of the real wizarding world. After his first instance of magic, his muggle mothers became worried, as they knew absolutely nothing about magic or anything of the sort.

Astor had his first instance of wandless, "accidental" magic when he was about 10 years old. He writing a short story for a school assignment but was having a hard time thinking of what to write. He became so frustrated, trying so hard to come up with a story idea that the lightbulb in his desk lamp suddenly shattered. This shocked him, as he had no idea what had just happened. His mother, Julia, was in the room at the time, and was shocked as well. Being only accustomed to the muggle world neither of them understood what had happened and tried to just brush it off as just an electrical issue with the desk lamp.
