Clair wanted to sigh, she wanted to voice her feelings of boredom, her frustration at not being able to use the skills she had learned, but what would it do? Other then make her already tainted reputation with the prefect worse.

What hit the girl hard was the fact that Decipio was right, Clair felt the guilt starting to gnaw at her belly, she had broken yet another rule, and this one could have hurt more people then just her.
She had acted blindly and stupidly, so even if she had prided herself on her brain power, she had just proved to not only herself, but every other person in the world, that she die not truly use her brain.

She did not know what to say, there was no need to speak, no want, no this moment needed silence.
She let every single word sink in.
Then a question popped into her head, "If I can't practice, because of rules and" she was about to say 'that junk' but stopped herself "for everyone's Safety, Then where are we supposed to practice? Outside of the classroom I mean." She paused for only a quick second, "I can't get better at spells without practice."

Further argument and resistance is what Evelynn had expected. It seemed to be a common theme among many of the younger students, to rebel against authority and try to talk themselves out from even the most logical counters. Contrary to expectation, however, that is not what would be delivered in this instance. Instead of delivering further resistance, it seemed Fernandez would soften. Perhaps something Evelynn had said had finally gotten through to her. The prefect would certainly have liked to have thought so, anyway.

"You are not wrong." Chin inclining and brow lofting, she would internally smile at the proposed question. "You do require practice to improve, and I imagine every professor at this school would be pleased to hear such sentiments of wishing to hone your skills. The place to practice would be the duelling club room. Contrary to what some may believe, it is not limited to members of the sport. Any may make use of its space and it is specifically designed with the practice of spells in mind. A professor does not necessarily need to be present. A prefect of duelling captain would be sufficient supervision. It is open and available during all reasonable hours of the day."

"Now I have no desire to administer a detention, and so I will leave you with but a warning. Given you are now aware of a preferable place for practice, I do not envision there shall be any further transgression, mn?"
