A Friend in Need
Charlie held her textbook while she waited for Quinn to show up. She'd managed to sneak some food out of the Great Hall, just to nibble on while they conversed about their situation. She recently grew a fascination with Pumpkin Pasties, and she desperately wants the recipe to them one day. They were so soft, and though she would never admit it, they were better then her Nana's.mentioning @quinn root & @colin mccoire
While facing the Forbidden Forest, she wondered if the answer to her problems were in there. A small flower that a friend desperately needed. Of course she would never walk in there, at least by herself. Charlie knew that she would have nightmares for the rest of the upcoming summer if she ever stepped foot in there.
She heard a shuffle of footsteps behind her, and turned to see that it wasn't yet her friend. Another student decided to walk about the Grounds, but ended up being farther away to give her at least some privacy.
She turned her head to look at the lake, glistening with colors from the sun. It reminded her of when she met Colin and Quinn, and unfortunately embarrassed herself that she'd never visited Scotland. She gave herself a chuckle, and noticed she smiled when she would think of the two.

A Friend in Need
Quinn was excited, extremely excited. Charlie had sent her an owl saying that she had found a way to help Colin! She was in her normal school robes.
They where going to meet at the grounds where they had all met for the first time, Quinn had met them both on different occasions. Charlie when she had bumped into her, and Colin when she stumbled out of the abandoned toilets.
She thought about it a bit more as she walked around the grounds, she had embarrassed herself in front of both of her friends. She smiled at the thought.
She spotted her friend with the read hair, “Hey!! Charlie!” she said as she reached her, smile on her face. She reached her and took a seat right next to her, anxious to hear what Charlie had found out.
“What did you find? You said it was in our Herbology textbook? Did you find a cure?” She was assuming every possible answer to what Charlie could have found. Quinn wasn’t the best at herbology, not bad. But she wasn’t good.
She sat in the grass, looking at the sky. Remembering how Colin told them he was a wearwolf. She still was amazed that he had told them. Trusted them to tell. It was a big secret Quinn didn’t want to tell anyone on accident. She would be careful talking about it here.

Charlie turned and waved towards her, motioning her to sit down on the blanket she laid out. She flipped through her textbook, eventually landing on the slightly damaged page.interacting @quinn root

"S'rry, coffee spilled on me page," Charlie blushed a little bit, "Aye been up awl night."
She pointed towards her side notes, "er, well, Aconite. Aye 'eard of it before, and it kept me up awl night, but," Charlie grabbed one of the advanced potions book and flipped towards the page with Wolfbane Potion written on the top. "Aye found it in de lib'ry, it helps lycanthr'py."
She gave it to Quinn while she had the textbook on her lap, looking at both of the pages at the same time. They would need time, ingredients, and a private space. All which can be achieved, but who knows how long Colin would be able to handle changing every month.
"We could talk te Pr'fessor Tuesday," she made the suggestion, "maybe he'll 'elp us." She pointed to the Aconite, "do ye have yer dragon hide gloves?"
Charlie couldn't remember where she left hers, she'll have to look around her trunk and find them. Hopefully, she'll be able to use them when they meet up with Professor Tuesday.

Quinn made an excellent point, they were first years after all, this type of magic was far more advanced then they would think. A part of her felt disappointed in herself, but she had to remember she was only 12. She looked at the page, for what seemed like forever, and came to the conclusion that Quinn was right. They needed to wait, despite their urgency to help Colin.
She closed the book, turning towards Quinn. "Aye, yer right." Her fingers caressed the spine of the book, thinking. "Colin will need teh wait, unfortunately."
Charlie made a promise to herself to study Potions as much as she could, for the sake of Colin. Over time they'll rekindle the conversation, probably feeling more confident it can be succeeded the next time around.
"While aye think Pr'fesser Tuesday will assist us," she paused, "let's improve ar' skills so we w'n't turn Colin tuh a chicken on accident." She let out a laugh, imagining it would've been a type of experience to remember.
A rush of exhaustion waved over Charlie, and they had some time until food was server so all she did was lay her head on Quinn. She wasn't one to express emotions like that before, but her tiredness allowed it just this once. Her eyes stayed on the lake, and sighed deeply.
"I hope Colin will be okay.."
