Musical Chairs

The game was about to start.
There were 11 total participants as of right now, which oddly enough was his lucky number.
A group of chairs had been placed on an even section of grass and were facing outward, with the backs of the chairs pressed up against eachother. It formed a kind of circle. Kim glanced around and spotted Simon and AF nearby and waited to see what their decision would be. Would they take part in the initial game or wait until after a winner had been chosen to do the game again? He still needed to know the answer before they got started with the game.
"I'll explain the rules once more. The point of this game is to walk around the chairs while some form of music is going on. When the music stops, everyone has to sit down in a chair. The person who doesn't make it to a chair in time is eliminated. This continues until there is only one chair and two people remaining. Since we have a total of 11 guests, there will be 10 chairs at the start."
Any questions?" Kim asked, glancing around the area.
"If not, please take your positions around the set of chairs." He told them and waited for them all to gather around the various chairs. This would be a lot of fun.

Simon Kincaid to the rescue of everyone's ears
When Kim put he and AngelFyre to work on the games, as he said he would, Simon smiled and was happy to help! They were given one of two options, in charge of the music or to ensure that no one pushed someone else off a chair after the music had stopped in an attempt to cheat. Right away, Simon figured that the music would be a good job for AngelFyre and he could be the bronze here with his strength, ensuring that everyone followed the rules the way they should around such a strong individual (and prefect too!) until he heard mention that the one in charge of music could just sing.
"Oh I'll do the music!" he said with super speed, so fast that it was almost incomprehensible. He looked over to Kim and then slowly to AngelFyre and smiled. "Music is ...kind of my thing, you know?" he tried to defend himself. No, it wasn't because AngelFyre's voice was far from angelic. Actually, to be quite honest he had grown to like her left-to-be-desired-by-most voice but he also knew that it quite unique, to put it nicely.
"And if you need any help enforcing the rules, I've got you, babe," and that was reference to a Sonny and Cher song from the 60s perhaps in muggle America. He wasn't sure she knew it but he gave her a cheesy smile just in case.
"Alright, Kim, I'm ready when the party go-ers are ready. Just send me cue when it's time."

Interacts with @Simon Kincaid and @Kim SatoAngelFyre just could not catch a break. She was recently quite proud of her self-appointed title of Hogwarts' Best Worst Singer, but whatever. She could not help but laugh at Simon. Of course it would be a no brainer...and a tender mercy... to the ears of everyone present to have him be the singer. "So you say, Sonny boy," and she tossed him a smile over her shoulder with an arched brow. Then she blew him a kiss just because.
"If it is all the same to you, Kim, I would really like to play. It looks like this is going to be a lot of fun and I doubt we are going to have anyone get into a wrestling match over a chair. And if we do, Simon should really be able to handle double duty as both the singer and the bouncer if it comes to it, right, Sonny?" She smiled over at him knowing he was more than capable of handling anything that could possibly go awry here.
She eagerly kicked off her shoes, happy at the chance to feel the grass between her toes and get to run, sort of, and just laugh and be happy with friends around her. She walked over to the circle of chairs, getting herself in game ready position.
The only thing she was sorry about was not getting to see Simon put his dhampir reflexes to work in this game. He for sure would have been the last man sitting.
The magic is real.

Musical Chairs
Getting up from her seat, she placed her parcel and drink on the table as Kim announced the game.
She walked over to the chairs, and smiled. She was glad Kim had this all planned out. She was a bit of a perfectionist, but she knew Kim had it all under control!
Bailey saw that Simon was going the music or singing, and AF would be joining the game. She was unsure about everyone else, but was sure it would be fun no matter the amount of people who joined!
Bailey adjusted her skirt, glad that she chose to wear shorts under it. She never wore a skirt without shorts underneath. She knew herself well enough to know that she might just find a tree or something to climb.
Adjusting her hair, Bailey waited for everyone else to join them.
Then she spotted the food that Kim had prepared. She had not seen it before, but she was sure that she would have a chance to get some later.
Tucking her necklace under her shirt, Bailey walked over to Kim and said “Thank you so much! I will never be able to repay you- though I will try. Thank you again! This truly makes today so special!”

Musical Chairs
Sophia was surprised to see that Kim had not only set up games for Bailey's party, but a muggle game at that. She was very familiar with Musical Chairs. She was actually quite famous at her old American muggle school for being the girl with the most chair-related bruises on her legs and arms - and everywhere, really - so she was confident that she would survive the game, if nothing else.
She walked over to Kim, Puffie still bouncing happily in her palm, and elbowed him merrily.
"Musical Chairs, eh? I didn't expect a muggle game from you," she said with an approving nod. "What do wizards usually play at birthday parties?"
She found her way to the chairs and stood happily near Bailey, grinning eagerly to the older girl.
"How does it feel to be thirteen?" she asked. "I can't wait to be a second year so I can finally meet students younger, you know?"
She readied herself in place and kept playing with Puffie. Sure, it was probably irresponsible to play with the little guy during a game of Musical Chairs, but stupid Kim never let Puffie out much, so Sophia was determined to give him some experience playing outside with other people, even if it was just a matter of being carried by her during a game of Musical Chairs.
"You be careful," she whispered to Puffie, "I don't want you to get hurt, I just want to let you have some fun."
She tickled his belly again and giggled at his little squeaks. Oh, if only Amelia could be here too. She couldn't wait until Kim finally met her.
