Dexter began his day. He got up and got dressed, and put a black hoodie over his long-sleeved shirt and sweatpants even though it was warm outside. It had always been a dress preference. It was Saturday, and just like the previous Saturdays, he had work that needed to be done he hadn’t done the day before. He walked downstairs slowly to the Great Hall. He ate his breakfast and talked to his friends, who were shocked that he was actually going to do his work today.

After breakfast, he walked even slower to the common room. He read “A History of Magic” for a while and did a few lines of parchment he had. He then decided to go outside and do his homework. He looked out the window and saw a girl with chestnut hair by the lake. He couldn’t miss this opportunity. He grabbed a bucket, his work, and his bags, and outside he went.

He bumped into his friend on the way there, who frowned and said, “I thought you were doing work?” Dexter looked down and smiled sheepishly. “I’m working on studying the reactions of someone older than me getting pranked…by me.” His friend reminded him that he put a mousetrap on a fourth-year student’s seat, but he went by him. He wasn’t about to lose his prey.

There she was again. Still by the lake. He went to the lake, and scooped water inside it, just like he did when pranking Bailey. Except for this time, he was above her, not behind her. He climbed a tree, and-

He turned the bucket of water upside-down, letting the water fall towards her.
