Coraline Harvey is a very peculiar girl. For one, she has an odd sense of humor. It's hard to make her laugh with a good joke since she won't find it funny. Her own jokes are odd and can cause some argument or cause conflict. She isn't a *nerd* persay, but she doesn't fit in. She likes animals as well as art. Her strange clothes are often covered with paint or mud. Originally She's got long awkwardly cut curly locks of hair and pale skin. however shes dyed her hair and often wears it in pony tails like a child. She avoids numbers such as 13 and always knocks on wood. She acts very strange, and she believes in spirits as well as the after life. She rarely sleeps at night so she instead spends her time trying to read the stars. She has her own pack of tarrot cards where she used to do readings for family or random people. She wears round glasses and she has a button nose. Her eyes are bright blue as her mother's.

When she was 5, her family moved to Japan. Her mother believed a place such as Japan would be better for their life style as well as her career.
She went to a muggle school, obviously, and she would take out her tarrot cards or skip stones while singing a song about witches. But not Hogwarts kind, the kind that were cursed or tried to eat children. Sometimes she would mutter under her breath about things that will happen. A group of kids thought she was weird and finally showed their annoyance and fear of her. They started dancing around her while chanting that she was a witch (an evil one) and some even threw stones at her feet. At that very moment, a strong taste of wind came in and a murder of crows attacked the kids. Coraline, of course, thought this was a sign from the spirits. The kids decided it was Coraline's fault, so she got punched in the face. This incident is why she has a large gap between her two front teeth. Her mother had healed her injuries with the use of... energy healing.

At the age of 9, she began her interest in tarrot cards and trying to see the future. Her mother and father full-heartedly supported this as they were strange folks as well. Her mother had a large garden and a strange collection of crystals all around the house. Her mother and father were both hippies, with there strange style. They were vegetarian just like Coraline, as they felt that eating meat would bring bad luck. Her mother worked as an energy healer while her father writes for a newspaper on spirituality. They have multiple birds as pets at their house.
