Leon walked softly along one of many seemingly endless rows of bookshelves. He wasn't quite sure what he was looking for yet. He was in the library more for the feeling of being there than to check out a book, although finding something interesting was certainly on his to-do list for today. The library back home had been a bit far from the farm, so it was more of an occasional trip than a usual thing, but that didn't change how much he loved being inside it. Surrounded by books, silence, and that wonderful old paper smell filling the air. And this one had a fireplace! It was warm and quiet, and above all else, comfortable.
Leon's fingers traced across the spines of a few books on the shelf beside him as he read through each of the titles. Something long, he decided, and heavy. He preferred things like that. It was fun to challenge himself with those and see how quickly he could read through them without missing any of the information. A thick book with a nice leather cover caught his eye, and he pulled it off the shelf to take a look at it. Shakespeare's works. He'd loved reading Shakespeare when he was younger after Sasha had introduced him to it. His brother had thought it was hilarious to direct him to the bloodiest stories first, although that had quickly turned to slight concern when he'd liked those stories better than the others. Hamlet and Macbeth held a special place in his heart.
As Leon tucked the book under his arm and continued walking, intending to go sit down next to the fire and read, it became clear to him that he did not know how to get out. It couldn't be too hard, he reasoned, but he hadn't exactly been keeping track of every twist and turn he took, and he had no idea how far he was from where he wanted to be. The ceiling-high bookshelves weren't exactly giving him directions. Leon ducked around a corner and promptly bumped into another student. "Oh- Sorry," He apologized quickly.

Sorry, I am assuming the time.

June 8th ⎯ 9:46am

It wasn't cold that morning. Actually, it was never really cold at Hogwarts, since the castle was enchanted, but through the windows one could spy the life of the world outside those thick walls, and a sunny day with rays sheltering in the lake didn't exactly seem to herald a frost. No, the day was truly beautiful, and it was this warmth and sunshine that made Gia feel just a little bit depressed: summer was approaching, wich meant the end of school was approaching even faster. It was now less than thirty days before she was due to take the Hogwarts Express home. It was a thought that made her sigh every time.
It wasn't that the whole thing made her sad, she was almost looking forward to being reunited with her father and John, as well as being able to meet Mike again after such a long time parted. No, she didn't mind having to return back to Rainhill. She mind having to return back the books.
From the day after her arrival at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Georgiana had begun to frequent the library in search of new works to devour. And she had found absolutely everything there, even the Muggle literature that Mike had recommended her. She had spent whole nights reading near the Common Room or in her bed; she had taken books to do school work, and just as many to read while she was supposed to be doing school work; she had browsed many, many shelves with the certainty that she still didn't know a hundredth part of the place; she had returned books to the shelves with smiles of satisfaction and also with grimaces of disgust, and how could she forget those she had deposited with sadness for knowing they weren't hers... Now she felt melancholy. The books would still be there when she returned, she was sure, but she still didn't want to leave them on those neat shelves again. But she sadly had no choice.
Gianna walked the library hallways with a huge stack of books in her arms. She had finished reading them all the night before, and though she now had a rather strange combination of plots in her head, she knew it was time to put them down before she had to leave, and didn't plan to let any book unfinished. It wasn't as if she wasn't going to start a new book today anyway. She would definitely take several more to read before she left. She still had so many more to go...
Suddenly she bumped into something abruptly as she walked towards the shelves, and the whole pile of books went crashing to the floor, causing Gia's eyes to widen with mixed feelings. She soon discovered that the "something" she had bumped into was actually a "someone", but that didn't changed things much for her.
"Oh- Sorry" she heard a boy's voice mutter as she hurriedly bent down to pick up the books.
"Jeez, what's wrong with you?" muttered Gia under her breath, and probably more to herself than to the boy in front of her. Probably.
She saw with distress that some pages were torn and quickly whispered the incantation for Mending Charm. She checked in a second that the books were safe, and once she did she turned her gaze to the person she had bumped into.
"It is fine. I wasn't looking. I couldn't, actually." she dismissed it as she piled the books back up and stood up with them in her arms again. "But you're lucky they can be fixed."
