Emily was currently in the castle. She looked out a window and she saw that it was sunny outside, so she decided to go outside. Once she got outside she sat down on a bench and put her bag down. She then took out a piece of parchment, a ink bottle, and her quill.

She then looked thought about what to draw. After thinking she decided to draw her and her cousins. Emily was a pretty good drawer. It took her about 10 minutes to finish off the drawing.

After she was done, she looked at the drawing and thought if she needed to add anything. Once Emily was all done adding things to her drawing she looked at it again and thought it was good.

She then put her ink bottler and quill away and she was about to put her parchment away, but the wind decided to blow it away. Emily tried to catch it, but she missed.

Emily got up and ran after it. She then was about to jump, but while she was jumping she bumped into someone. The two of them fell. Emily fell on her back but she didn't fell that hard.

The good thing is Emily got her picture. But the bad thing is, her back was hurting her. She got up slowly and let her hand out for the person to take so she could help them up.

Emily said, "Oh my god! I'm so oo oo, sorry! Are you alright? Can you stand?"

Emily felt very bad, she didn't really know what to do, she hopped that nothing bad happened.

With his sketchbook tucked away neatly in the bag hanging from his shoulder and an oversized sweater that made him appear even skinnier than he was protecting him from the wind, Leon walked briskly across the grounds. His ponytail whipped around in the breeze, fluttering behind him, but he wasn't bothered by it. As long as it wasn't in his face, it was fine. He was headed to the Great Lake, to see if he could possibly capture the reflection of the sun off the waters, or maybe some of the birds that occasionally swam across it. Of course, he had to walk there first, and he didn't get very far before something - someone - slammed into him from the side, toppling him over.
Leon fell hard, the impact of the ground against his shoulder blades knocking the wind from his lungs. His glasses were struck off, landing somewhere in the grass, he wasn't sure where. He sat up slowly, rubbing the back of his head with a wince. Someone was speaking to him, the girl who had barreled him over just now. "I'm fine, I'm fine..." He waved her hand away, patting the ground around him. Uh oh. He couldn't find his glasses anywhere. "My glasses came off, do you see them?" It could easily be that they'd just fallen out of his reach but wherever they were, he still needed them to see. He stood up gingerly, careful in case he stepped on them by accident and broke them. That certainly wouldn't be good.

Emily was waiting for a reply until she saw that the person was swatting her hand away, so her hand went back to her side and she decided to have a look at the person. She knew that she bumped into a boy. She felt bad for him.

Emily then heard him speak, she listened then said, "Alright. Um, what do your glasses look like?"

Emily didnt really feel like waiting for an answer, so she decided to look for a pair of glasses. She looked everywhere around the two of them, until she found a pair, she picked it up, and held it in front of the boy.

She then asked, "Is this yours? Also, what's your name? Mines Emily. Emily Flower."

This time, Emily actually waited for a response. She wanted to be nice and not mean. She also wanted to make some friends. Emily looked back at her picture, then she put it in her bag that she was still wearing.

She didn't really want to show him the picture, she was probably going to show him, but it'd have to be later. She really did want to show him, but she'd have to ask him first.

"They're black, round, wire-rimmed-" He started to describe them, but the girl didn't seem to be paying any attention to his answer. A moment later, she was holding them in front of him. Leon blinked and took his glasses gingerly, wiping off the lenses with the sleeve of his knitted sweater. "...Thank you." He placed them back on the bridge of his nose and adjusted them until they were perfectly straight. Now that he could see the girl clearly, he studied her face, green eyes watching her carefully. Leon's eyes had a certain feeling to them like he was staring into your soul and learning everything about you just but looking. He wasn't, of course - if he could do that, he would almost constantly, but alas, people were just as much of a mystery to him as he was to them. That didn't make it any less unnerving.

"Leon de Luca," He said simply. He would've offered her a handshake, but quite frankly, he didn't really want to, seeing as she'd just run him over to get to... what was that, a drawing? Leon's eyes flicked to it as Emily tucked it away in her bag, then back to her. "What's that?" He asked. She might not want to show him - he very rarely felt the need to show his own art to anyone else - but if it was the reason for the new grass stains on the knees of his pants, it was probably worth taking a look at, wasn't it?

Emily was feeling a little bit huger, she didn't really know why, she decided to check her bag, but she heard the box speak, she then looked back at her hand and saw that the glasses were where they were supposed to be.

Emily then said, "No prob! Also, I feel like your reading my mind. Are you? I mean, I'll be fine if you are, but maybe I should know first. That is, if you can read minds."

After Emily said that she looked in her bag and saw a box of pocky. She took it out and she saw the flavor. She opened the box, took out three, and ate all three of them. Emily was about to continue eating, but then she heard the boy introduce himself as Leon de Luca. Emily then heard him speak again, she then pulled out the picture she drew and then said,

"Nice to meet you, Leon! This is a picture I drew, and sadly the wind blew it away. Anyway, want some pocky before I eat it all?"

She then held the box in front of Leon and she waited for him to either take one or for him to not take one. If he didn't take one, then she'd just finish off the box.

"Wha- No. I'm not reading your mind, what makes you think that?" Leon seemed confused for a split second, but he brushed it off quickly. "Why would I want to read your mind?" That might've come off as rude, but the boy didn't seem to realize that. It was just a simple question.

He studied the drawing for a moment. The paper was a little grass-stained, but not too bad. "It's nice," he remarked, looking back up at her, but she was already talking about something else. It seemed like she did that a lot. Now she was eating something, although what, he wasn't sure.

He eyed the snacks she offered him warily. Leon wasn't familiar with whatever these were, and he wasn't sure he trusted them. There were very few foods he did like, and he didn't feel at all inclined to go around trying new ones all the time. That would just feel off. Unsafe. Besides, these were weird-looking. No thank you. "...I'm alright, thank you. I'm not hungry." He told her politely, sticking his hands into his pockets. That excuse usually worked for him - it was easier to just say he wasn't hungry than to start some whole conversation about his food issues. Leon had lost count years ago of how many times he'd been told "just try it, it'll be fine," or "I'm not trying to poison you, you know," or the occasional "what do you mean, 'unsafe?'" Besides, it wasn't like he knew how to explain it, so he just settled for saying something else.

Emily heard Leon speak again, so she listened, then said, "Alright, then. Its just that the way you looked at me, got me thinking that you were reading my mind. Oh, I don't know, you might want to know my deepest secrets of something."

Emily saw the boy looking at her picture and she wondered what he thought about it. She then heard him speak and she listened, then she said,

"Thanks! I drew me and my cousins as well as my other friends that don't go here sadly. Their all in Japan."

Emily stopped herself from talking before she said too much. She then heard Leon speak again, so she listened, then she took her box back and said,

"You sure? Its really good. But, I guess I shouldn't make you, since you said you aren't hungry."

Emily then ate three more pocky and waited for Leon to talk again. She didn't really know what else to talk about. Emily didn't know if she should start talking more about her cousins or not. But then she remembered her secret that she swore not to tell anyone else except the people she trusts.

She didnt know if she could trust Leon yet. But she'd just have to wait to see if she can trust Leon or not.
