Capture The Flags Club

PREMISE:

Capture the Flag Club is a club for anybody that enjoys physical activity, mild combat, and meeting new people. It's a new spin on the conventional game of Capture the Flag, with extra challenges and added fighting!

HOW THE GAME WORKS:

The amount of active members will determine the amount of teams. Each team will have a specific area where the team members will begin. At the center of the arena is one golden flag (worth 10 points). Each team also has 10 flags that they must guard to make sure they stay in the team's designated area unless stolen by another team (you cannot pick up the flags and move them to hide them outside your team's designated area. If stolen, each of those flags is worth 5 points. Each participant also will have a flag attached to some part of their clothing (it must be visible and reachable). If stolen, each of those flags are worth 1 point. The aim is to get as many points for your team as possible. The game will last (IC) for 1 hour (or 4 rounds).

THE RULES (IC AND OOC):

(IC) Rule 1: Tackling and scrappy fighting is allowed (potentially encouraged). If the injured player reaches 0 HP, the injured player will be moved to the Healing Area (managed by @Willow Anderson as healing intern).

(OOC) Rule 2: If you have been inactive for over a month (inactive for over 30 days) then you will likely be removed from the club, but you are welcome to re-apply. This is only because games will likely take several weeks to complete. If you are unavilable for a game, just let me know in advance through owl or DM.

(OOC) Rule 3: The 200 word count is still maintained.

MODERATION:

I will post the introduction and begin the thread when the agreed date is reached. Each active member is required to post an arrival post. After 5 days (extensions can be arranged if needed, just owl or DM me), the first moderation post will go up. Each member will post (with their most recent stats included) and then owl me the action that they choose, and then I will roll for the outcomes (on Discord), and then post the next moderation post. This will continue until all the rounds have been complete and I have posted the final moderation post. Afte that, all members are free to leave the thread.

DATES:
Games will take place once every 3 months between September-November, January-March, May-July. Actual dates will be finalised closer to the time.

REWARDS:
The winning team will recieve 5 chocolate frogs. The player with the most individual points will get a surprise gift or 3 extra chocolate frogs.
