Stranded!!
Vittoria was a fan of her early morning walks.
She liked them anywhere- the grounds, the courtyard, and today, the Great Lake, which was really quite the view this early. Vittoria prided herself on being a morning person- nothing quite like waking up when the rest of the world was still and quiet, the water smooth as glass, even the birds silent.
At times like this, Vittoria could imagine she was the only living thing on earth, everything asleep around her, the sun slowly rising and chasing away the chill of the night, reflecting as a bright orange glow on the surface of the lake.
She covered her mouth with a hand as she yawned- morning person as she may be, she was still subject to sleepiness and tiredness. Then, she froze, her head turning slightly.
Was... was that a meow?
Tentatively, Vittoria started walking towards the sound, trying to keep her footsteps soft, eyes scanning the ground in front of her. Had someone's pet gotten loose? That was all she could think had happened- surely Hogwarts didn't allow stray cats on their grounds, right? Right?
Then, her brown eyes caught on a flash of white through the trees, and her head slowly rose up and up, finally catching on a cat curled up on a tree branch.
She let out a soft gasp, another hand flying to her mouth, heart dropping in her chest as she saw the collar. Surely they were too far up to grab... and everyone asleep, and no way to know the owner...
Oh no. This wasn't ideal.

Stranded!!
It was after Easter break, Quinn had just gotten her new cat. Bear. She decided to take him out to the lake for a walk. Big mistake. As she had lost him immediately. She wondered around the lake look ing for him.
She soon spotted him. "Bear! Bear get down from there!" she yelled up to a tree. Somehow her cat had climbed the tree.
He didn't appear to be in distress, but it was still annoying. Quinn looked up at her cat. "How did you even get up there!?" She said. She then looked around the tree for a clue on how he got up there, or why he got up there.
Quinn walked around the trunk, twice. She saw no clues on why her went up the tree, she did a couple of scratch marks. That helped her know how. She looked around to see if there was anyone who could help. She saw someone. "Hey! You! Can you please help me get my cat?" She asked the person. Quinn hoped they would help, as she couldn't see anyone else nearby. She would have tried to get Bear herself, but she was a bit to short. if wort came to worst Quinn would climb the tree.

Vittoria shot up at the sound, snapping out of it for a second.
“Uh- yeah, of course, how could I- uh, help?” she asked, eyes wide still and full of worry. She had done some tree climbing as a kid, yes, but not much! And certainly not up so high, trying to grab a cat.
Her eyes flickered over her new acquaintance- not judging, merely curious. Oh. Wearing some green- probably Slytherin, a house she was intimately familiar with, her parents hailing from said house. Interesting. Cool.
“Uh, what’s their name? The cat, I mean?” she questioned, feeling her cheeks flare with sudden heat, and she awkwardly stuck out a hand.
“I’m Vittoria, by the way! Vittoria Ricci. It’s nice to meet you!” That certainly wasn’t awkward at all, no! Of course not.
Mentally, Vittoria swore at herself, because honestly, really? Asking for a cat’s name before even knowing the name of said cat’s owner? She should know better etiquette than that. She had been raised on far better etiquette than that! Truly absurd of her.
Vittoria kept her hand held out a little awkwardly in front of her, cheeks flushed pinkish still. She really had to get herself under control.
