Honey Trap
It's too bad we couldn't find a bucket.” Looking over the supplies shoved together atop a table, the thought that this probably would have been easier with one instead of a cauldron… Oh well, they could make due. Probably.
“Hopefully we got enough honey,” said honey being six jars shoved into one tiny cauldron, the rest pushed near it where the rest of the jars wouldn't fit next to their mini cauldron of doom amongst the pile of string, feathers, and other things they'd all pooled together. “Can't believe they only let me buy 3,” he grumbled, still bitter just thinking about it. He didn't know who between Henry and Elsa got the other 3 jars but thank Merlin they had. The measly 3 he’d gotten definitely wouldn't have been enough to fill the cauldron, small or not.
Well, no time to begin like the present.
He snatched a pair of scissors and a bundle of thick string, practically twine; red of course, and proceeded to grab the trusty pillow he’d brought. Sure they were gonna cover their victim in honey, send them sliding, and feather them up but they didn't need to be savages about it! No no, their victim could fall onto the pillow while getting feathered!
Elsian went to the door where they’d yet to fully rig up and place their cauldron of honey before spinning on his heels in a mimic of where they’d need the poor soul to enter, eyeing the path they’d haphazardly cleared of chairs and table edges. In a straight line he walked, careful in his pacing before finally reaching a fair distance from the door and upon a quick glance to make sure he had indeed stayed on a straight path from the door, threw the enchanted cushion onto the ground in a crude mock of a bullseye.
“Do you think right here could be good Henry?” He crouched down as he spoke, beginning to unwind the spindle of thread as green eyes peered back at the Slytherin quizzingly, “I think it's enough room to send the person sliding but do you think it’s too much?” Or too little went unsaid.
Once the honey poured in the doorway and hopefully sent their victim flying forward onto where he’d cast the slip spell and put the trip ‘wires’ the whole prank would be ruined if they didn't figure out the perfect slip spot. If they made the distance from the honey cauldron to the feather trap too short they risked the person's momentum not being enough to trigger the string trap for the feathers but if it was too long then the person might fall too soon or worse, get their balance.
Red string fumbled out of his hand and unwound rapidly, rolling and unwinding on the ground. A single line of red string left in the wake of the item's quick getaway.
Surely a bad omen.
He whined, eyeing the string stop near Henry's foot and in a moment of brilliant of lazy ingenuity, flopped down and rolled after it. With a slow snip of scissors he sat up, pocketing the spindle in his pants pocket and standing up to fix the red mess. By the time he was done they’d have 2 long trails of red string outlining either side of the straight path leading from the door to the pillow he’d thrown. It was a clear indication of where Elsian intended to put the slipping spell and trip ‘wire’ and its finished with a flourish as the Gryffindor plops back onto the ground, as if to say ‘ta-da!’
“Hey Henry, treat you to a shake if you play test dummy to the slip spell,” he teased with a sharp grin, only half joking. “Hey-hey! What do you think Elsa?” He craned his neck to watch her as he spoke, pausing from where he’d begun to tie string to a table leg for the first trip string, “Henry plays test dummy & we all go to the ice cream parlor, my treat~”

"Perhaps we should have an supplies room or box," Henry replied to Elsian comment about not having an bucket. That would have made the prank easier to set up but they only have access to the items that they could pull together... the three of them.
One of the desks act as their supplie table, holding their materials. Feathers, strings, red strings, pillows, the small cauldron, six jars of honey, and his camera (well technically the magical infused/wizard camera that works in hogwarts since his muggle one doesn't work on the school grounds)... the honey providing to be the hardest to obtain since for an strange reason they wouldn't sell one more than three. Henry wondered why one couldn't buy more than three, what were the limitations for or how were they first put in place...
"If we don't, I vote on blaming Elsi," Henry joked and playfully tossed a few feathers at the boy with a half smile before going back to focusing on setting up the mechanics for the feathers that will blow onto their victim from tne feather trigger which Henry also is setting up.
"We would have nine if Nicky brought 3 to," Henry replied to Elsian on the amount of honey jars one could buy. Smiling toward Nickly a bit before going back to tying on an string then piling the items into his hands and taking thek toward the door.
Setting up the two open pillows and bowls of feathers to fall onto their target, settong them in their place before unwinding the thread and running it across the floor for the trip wire. Tying it off. Henry tossed another pillow on the floor beside the one Elsi threw. The only difference is that his was a bit open to cover the person with ever more feathers.
Loki watched the scene, jumping up onto the table and stretching out in an relaxed position. Amber eyes set upon the three as they perpare the prank.
Henry smiled, brushing back a few strands of hair from his eyes at Elsian's antics. Taking a step to view the prank, multiple steps and much like dominoes each step had to correlate with each other or something could go wrong or not work fully.
The teen moved his eyes toward Elsian and the his voice, his eyes looked over where the slip charm had been cast on the floor then at Elsian as he spoke"couldn't we use an abiotic item or Nicky do you want to volunteer?" Henry smiled at the girl who he only told a few days before of the prank and how three people could have it go much more smoothly than only two. At the sound of Elsian's voice of asking the gryffindor girl what she thought then the temptation of a ice cream trip for the three.
"Traitor," Henry playfully spoke toward Elsian with a soft smile before gesturing towsrd Loki as he added"Loki, volunteers-" the feline let out an single hiss to let the group know that he doesn't. Henry looked over at Elsian, took a moment to think before speaking"I'll do it but you owe me a shake and an book Elsi," the teen smiled at his fellow prankster as he walked over to the floor. Darting his eyes toward it as he took a breath then brought a trembling foot toward the floor and placed it down.
The floor slippery, usable to find an grip as he slipped the fall onto his knees and sild down the room. Stopping himself om desk leg, looking over toward Elsian as he spoke"did that work, Elsi?"
