Dear Sir Ragsdill,
In addition to my previous owl, you will find the mandatory Supply List, required to ensure that your schooling goes smoothly.
This check list has been enchanted so that it updates itself after each purchase. After the last item acquired, you will be invited to participate in the Sorting Ceremony.
SUPPLIES

A wand;
A remembrall;
A cauldron (standard tin model, size 2);
A box of glass or crystal phials;
Copper scales.
These purchases as a whole can be done at the shops on Diagon Alley, in London.
Clothes
Three (black) plain work robes, standard model;
A pointed hat (black);
A pair of protective gloves;
A winter cloak (black with silver fastenings).
All clothes should carry pupilโ€™s name tags.

Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger;
Book of Spells by Miranda Goshawk;
Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling;
The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble;
Hogwarts, A History by Garius Tomkink;
A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot;
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander.
Parents are reminded that first years are not allowed their own broomstick.

After validation you will enter the Sorting Ceremony where the Sorting Hat is expecting you in the Great Hall. This becomes accessible once you have been validated. The House you will be sorted into will become your second home. The sorting hat is never wrong so think carefully about your answers because your House will not be changed.

Mannerism
Dexter's has a semi-deep voice that sounds very elegant and formal.
When Dexter is scared/nervous, he talks fast and looks side to side.
When Dexter is happy/amused, he is grinning and talks slightly faster than normal and in a higher pitch, losing his elegant voice.
When Dexter is mad/annoyed, he frowns sometimes and his eyebrows look angry.
When he is bored/unimpressed, his eyelids slightly drop, and his voice is almost robotic.
