It was the day after Nick had met his new acquaintance, friend...he wasn't sure what to call her just yet, making sure he didn't jump to conclusions. He wasn't aware if she just planned to talk to him in class or about class or if they would become friends. He didn't think she was using him for the notes otherwise she could have just taken up his offer to copy them for her, that was a good sign. A part of Nick had to admit he may have been growing somewhat manipulative tendencies, probably from his lawyer of a father, his offering to see if she wanted him to just copy the notes was subconsciously a way to see if the girl saw him as a viable friend or not. It went well for him thankfully.

Nick made his way into the library, a place he had been to more often than any other library he had ever known, including the one in his own home. Something about studying in the Library at Hogwarts was much more appealing than anywhere else, maybe it had been the fireplace that was always perfectly comfortable or the general ambiance that existed of students bustling around. Maybe the idea that the library held such vast knowledge about something he was only just beginning to even learn was the reason, he was unsure. Yet he found it to be a new home of sorts, more so than the dorm he slept in possibly.

He pathed over to the seating areas and found himself a spot, a table near the restricted section. It was just past dinner so there were fewer students around than at other times of the day, most of them either in their dorms or hanging around trying not to worry about studying. But Nick didn't mind, he found learning to be enjoyable, and he also enjoyed helping people, plus he had offered and he was never one to go back on his word.

Sitting down Nick pulled out his notes and set them on the table and began reading them over. He was fairly proud of his notetaking skills, having refined them from reading books that he would take notes on as well as making sure he was succeeding in school. In the end, it was one of the skills he attributed his muggle school success to and something he was sort of proud to show off as well. Looking at his wrist he anxiously fiddled with the golden gift from his father, checking the time. "She will be here any minute." He thought to himself.
