The Goblet of Fire
Roleplaying as my iNPC, Tina Parker
Tina Parker, as another Hogwarts student was putting his name into the Goblet of Fire was writing for her selection into the Hexwizard Tournament.Date: March 20th, 2022
I she inched closer, however, The idea that the Tournament was dangerous to anyone was something that did not sit well with her. Even now, it seems that she seems unworthy of being the Ilvermorny School Champion, though rebellious. She was never as cruel as some of the students that came from Durmstrang.
Though Ilvermorny has had it's share of Dark Wizards that have graduated from the halls of the school, she believes that the Headmaster of her own school is a fraud who only gained his position due to something that was clearly not beneficial to Wizard-kind. As she wrote down her name and her school, she thought of her Great-Grandfather, who always seemed a bit off.
Tina had written down on a piece of parchement her name, her school year, and her school and now all that was left is to get in a special person so she had to think. As she thought it through, thoughts of her mother came up and then it hit her, she would write down her mothers name and so she wrote it down.Name: Tina Parker

Stepping forward, Roberta clutched a singular piece of paper in her hand. It contained not only the information requested, but her high hopes for success that she still fiercely clung to. It was a rare honor to be chosen as champion by a goblet. The kind of thing that made one famous, the kind of thing that curried the favor of the other pureblood families. This competition was the sort of big deal that brought with it all the recognition Roberta and her family could have ever wanted. Presenting the paper to the fire, she thought of all the stories of familial triumph her father had told her growing up instilling in her the wisdom of her ancestors. How desperately she had always wanted to become a figure worthy of making one those stories was known only to her, but undoubtedly observable to those she practiced with.
Most of her closest friends had come a long way alongside her, and she believed that they were just as deserving of the title champion as she. There would be no jealousy in her heart, nor envy to taint her judgement should they be chosen instead of her, but the world might as well have been damned for those few short days after choosing, when she would later realize just how disappointed she was in herself for not being exactly what the goblet wanted her to be. In this single moment untainted by knowing the truth she felt courageous. As though the fame, power, and recognition were equally hers as much as they were everyone else's. How proud she felt for stepping forward with the rest of her friends was exactly what made her want to put herself to the test in the first place.
Even after the goblet had spat the names of the champions out, bringing her deepest darkest fears to the light of day, and even after the frustrated crying to herself in the still privacy she demanded after learning the results; Roberta would remember this as the first of the many triumphs she took for herself. For a single moment, she had shared the spotlight with all the others and for her that would eventually come to be enough. She just wouldn't give up. Not before the fighting had started. Not when that fight got tough and certainly not until she stood, alone or among her peers, victorious. Somehow, she would find even more resolve to never settle for less than her best.

The Goblet of Fire
April 1stToday was the day before the Blossom Ball, and the last day to apply for the Hexwizard Tournament. It was all anyone had been talking about for some time. If ever prompted on whether he would join, Pericles would offer an unhelpful shrug. Even he wasn't certain until the moment he stood before the goblet itself, its flames reflected in his pale eyes, wide with wonder. He had slogged through the mental mire to reach this moment. Had he considered the dangers? Naturally. Debated whether or not this was yet another trick to trap them? Of course. Should he have asked his parents before having a go at it? Probably. Yet here he was, at the last moment, parchment and pen in hand. Pericles had been shaken by the many misfortunes and tragedies wracking the wizarding world these past few years. He had fallen into himself over it, distraught over his ability to "fix" things, in turmoil over the feeling that no matter how hard he worked to change fate for the better, his impact seemed so minute in the grand scheme. This would be different. He would not do this to earn his family's praise, nor renown, nor for some glorious and magnanimous purpose. For a change, he would do something for himself. He rose to the opportunity, a brilliant, mad test of everything he'd learned.
It was the last line which tripped him up. "Special Person?" Xailah and Meenauh had been consistent companions since his very first year. It didn't get much more special than that, but was he supposed to choose between them? An outside party would be for the best. Ruby was easily among the "special" people in his life, but then, she had been so busy as of late. There was always the amiable Piérre, yet the Ravenclaw recalled how he'd seemed to suffer in the Trial by Fear, and didn't want to risk inflicting any damage to the good Gryffindor lad. In the same vein of extraordinary Gryffindors were Griseldis and Alan- dependable, admirable people with hearts of gold. Would it be wrong to cast their names in without first asking, though...? He really ought to have thought this out... but today was the final day to throw his name into the fire. Peri wavered, then the choice struck him, as obvious as anything: someone he had fought alongside many times, someone he could trust to be quick and clever, someone whose morals matched his own. If this "special person" was going to be placed in any sort of danger, he knew she could handle it. If they were to be teamed up alongside one another, they would lapse back into partner stratagem with absolute ease. Besides, she liked things like this, enjoyed a chance to test herself just as much as he did. She had likely signed up the very day this goblet was set out. The choice was clear-cut.

The Goblet of Fire
Aaron Jones entered the Great Hall clutching a piece of paper. Today was the day he was going to cast his name into the goblet. He had contemplated this decision for a little while now, and after much deliberation and internalized struggle, he realized that he needed to just get it over with. Toss his name into the goblet and let the chips fall where they may. If he got it - he would be so happy and excited to represent Hogwarts. Sure, maybe he would turn out to be a disappointment.. but what if he actually won! And if he didn't get it, well, at least he tried.Immediately after @Serena Towers exited the Great Hall

The fourteen-year-old had spent the last week watching others cast their names into the goblet - everyone seemed to want to be a champion. Definitely a few familiar faces, but way more unfamiliar considering the other visiting schools. And now it was his turn. He approached the huge goblet with minimally-concealed excitement, then cast one last look down at his paper.
Aaron took a deep breath, then tossed the note into the goblet with perfect accuracy. His brown eyes sparkled in the firelight as it devoured the paper, and he felt a slight lump in his throat. But he swallowed and let it pass. There was no turning back now.Aaron Jones

Before the Hufflepuff left the Great Hall, Aaron saw something just under the goblet. What was that? The fourteen-year-old knelt down and picked up what he now recognized as a crumpled piece of paper. It didn't take long for him to unravel it and read the name at the top.
Serena! How could she have missed tossing her name into the goblet? Aaron couldn't help glancing at the rest of the note, a little surprised to see Hugh Lowe on there. He was a fellow third year, a very recognizable person for obvious reasons. But Aaron had never actually interacted with him, and he certainly didn't know that Hugh and Serena were friends! He took the previously-crumpled note and tossed it into the fire. Serena would surely be glad to know that her chances hadn't been ruined merely because she missed her toss into the goblet. With that done, Aaron turned around and left the hall.NAME Serena J. Towers

The Goblet of Fire
March 28, 2022 - Early Evening
The Great Hall was covered in colors, ribbons and flowers coated the walls and it seemed a cherry place. Along with the excited chatter of the numerous students that milled about in the Hall, one would think that it was quite an exciting season at Hogwarts.
But at the front of the Great Hall, standing bold and tall, the Goblet of Fire was sent. It's unpolished silver frame stood above the heads of most students at the school. In it's cup blue magical fire spew forth, seemingly trying to reach for the ceiling. To Mireia, who sat with her knees to her chest and her elbows settled upon them, it looked like the Goblet was desperately trying to light the entire school ablaze with it's cool flame.
The rest of the student population acted as if this was a joyous occasion, an excitement and a dream come true. Mireia was conflicted, the excitement of the international students and the upcoming competition did hold her attention and awe. For this she was mostly holding the same amotions as her classmates. But the Goblet, the thing that had been sitting at the front of their eating area for over a week now, gave Mireia the wrong impression. It just seemed... Unkind. To her the Goblet was accepted sacrifices, as each time a paper was given it raged in a quite acceptance and glee. How could a competition that was started by this thing, be anything but dreadful.
Still, though, the need to not be left out was too consuming to Mireia to listen to her gut. In her first, clenched tightly, was a small price of parchment with her full name, house, year, and 'special person', written upon it.
With her eyebrows furrowed, she signed one last large breath and begrudgingly stood. She knew, deep down, that the Goblet would only choose students who were capable of fulfilling the tasks of the tournament. And she knew that she was not one of those students, so truly there was no risk in her putting her name in, as there was no way she would be chosen and she would still be able to say she had participated. The thought that formed when Professor Lear first introduced the Goblet of Fire and the Hexiwizard Tournament, that this was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity, well Mireia wasn't about to grown up and tell her children that she didn't enter her name.Mireira Sangre-Tenebri

And so with that she stumbled her way across the Great Hall and into the vicinity of the Goblet. Reaching her hand up as far as she could, and with the assistance of her tippy toes, Mireia dropped the parchment into the flames that instantly disintegrated the paper with it's cool heat and roared in approval.
And it was done. No going back now, she thought.

He went knew what he wanted to write, but he hadn't done it yet. Nick speed the parchment onto one of the long tables. He wrote what he said he would.
He wrote one of his sisters names as his special person. Nick loved all of his siblings, but he was always a little bit closer to Emma. He also loved his parents, and his grandparents. He didn't think they would like him placing there names into a magic goblet. They accepted him as a wizard, they just were confused on how it worked.Nick Iris

With his piece of parchment in his hand, with the information that was required. He placed it into the goblet. Once he did he turned around facing everyone who was in the hall at that time, and shouted "Nick Iris! Name into the goblet!! Go Ilvermorny!" he didn't care if people where staring at him. He was happy.
After he had shouted, he left the hall with the biggest smile on his face, the young Thunderbird was enjoying being a wizard.
