The Trials and Tribulations of Potions class
꧁༒─── ❖ ──✦ Date: 09/10/2021 ✦ Area: Potions ✦── ❖ ─── ༒꧂
The sound of running through the halls was a familiar sound that Galahad became well acquainted with, eagerly trying to stuff books into his satchel as he had woken up twenty minutes before class, it didn't help that Gryffindor's tower was quite far from the dungeons. Hurriedly combing through his hair with his fingers, he began to sweat a tad from the possibility of being late for the class in question.
The auburn-haired male could feel his heart practically leaping out of his chest, as he began bolting towards the potions class with only five minutes to spare. He had pushed the door open, visibly wincing at his loud entry. Nonetheless, he had made it before he could be counted as tardy.
Galahad stepped inside the classroom, his grip tightened around his satchel as a way to cool himself down. Scanning the room as he noticed a male sitting by himself, unlike the rest of the seats that remained filled with different students.
The Gryffindor hesitated for a second, making his way over to the Raven-haired boy. Taking a seat as he bounced his leg, in an effort to keep himself still for class-like potions. Slipping out his notebook and quill as he placed them in front of him. "Good morning." He spoke casually, smiling over at the other as he let out a chuckle. "My name is Galahad Damaris, I think we'll be working together today." He had been to potions a few times already, knowing how certain assignments required having a partner.
"I don't think we've interacted before, have we?" This was the first time the male had ever interacted with the other, wanting to leave his best impression. He found himself being more comfortable with smiling, giving himself a more friendly nature.

The Trials and Tribulations of Potions class
Justin seemed to be running late. He usually preferred to be early to classes, as it meant he could easily avoid most people on the corridors. Being last could probably also accomplish the same, but it would also mean he would have to stick to a very tight schedule, and he hated deadlines. Especially if they could so easily be avoided.
He entered the dark and stuffy classroom, now nearly filled with students. Why must Potions be in the dungeons? Speaking of Potions, was he supposed to have it today? He was quite sure he was, but something still felt wrong.
This thought was soon rudely interrupted by the sudden arrival of another particularly energetic student that, apparently, nothing better to do than bother him.
No they hadn’t met before. He would remember having talked to someone. And therefore he should probably introduce himself now.
“Hi,” he said. Was that enthusiastic enough? Probably not, but who cares? He wasn’t feeling very enthusiastic at the moment, and he didn’t have enough energy to pretend otherwise. “I’m Justin. And yes, I didn’t really have any choice in the matter, but I suppose we will.”
“I’m sorry if that sounded rude. I’m just trying to think, and I don’t really like being interrupted. I feel like I’ve forgotten something that may or may not be very important, and it’s just out of reach. It’s an awful feeling.”
