The good luck acorn
Clair's day had been, well to put it simply; crazy.
She had slept in till halfway through breakfast, and when she had woken up, she had been in a rush.
And after quickly brushing her hair and pulling it into a messy bun she hurried into the great hall just as breakfast was ending, so she only had a few moments to snag a roll and sit for a few seconds. After that she had had to rush off to her first class and then from then on until her last class before lunch she had been busy.
At lunch time she went to sit down at the seat that she normally sat down at, but sadly that spot had been taken. So she walked to the next empty space on the bench. As she sat down something poked her, looking down she noticed what looked like a small nut of some kind, with a angel's face painted on one side. Looking at it she moved it around with her fingers, seeing no name on it she put it in her pocket, tonight she would come back to this spot and see if the boy or girl who had owned it had been looking for it.
The rest of that day passed in a blur. And by the time it was dinner Clair had almost forgotten about the acorn, that is until she sat down and it rolled in her pocket.
Taking it out she looked at it, and remembered that she was going to take it back to it's owner.
Walking to the spot she had found it she walked for anyone to arrive.
