"Aye Colin, don't frighten the lass," she gave Emily a small deceiving smile, "she me'nt no harm."
Charlie then gave an annoyed huff, the tension was almost unbearable. When Emily announced her departure, her demeanor changed to a bit more relaxed once Emily left the room. She turned to the two huddling by the desk. She squinted her eyes, suddenly suspicious.
"Ye two weren't er-," she gave a slight cough, "snogging, were ye?"
She felt her cheeks redden, now realizing she possibly interrupted a moment between the two. It would make sense, but it became increasingly awkward. Though before a word was spoken from either of the two, she heard the door open once again and Emily peeked around the door.
Her statement slightly annoyed Charlie, of course she knew she left and took note that she didn't knock either. So if anyone of them decided to spill what was going on, she'd hear it once again.
"Aye, we did." Charlie sounded snarky and didn't seem apologetic about it. Reasons being that the two were obviously hiding something, and didn't seem to want to talk about it with her around. Shes never been so irritated to let it out on someone, but there can always be firsts.
She sat around, waiting for someone to talk.

How do I say this?
Colin gasped! His face became an expression of surprise and befuddlement! And then he began turning red as any apple when Charlie asked them if he and Quinn were --- snogging. He turned quickly to look at Quinn. Did she hear the same word he did? Or was Colin imagining things? He looked back at Red Charlie with his eyes wide and mouth open in shock.
"Um! Er --- s-sn ---!?" he stuttered. Charlie couldn't possibly have said 'snogging' right? Why would she say that? What did she think she was seeing?
He turned to give Quinn a look that said help me out here! Did she really just say what I think she just said?
"Charlie --- snogging!? --- er ---!"
Colin was so flustered that he could neither get out two coherent words in a row nor did he notice that Emily had even left and come back. Charlie did, however, notice and made it plain that she did. Her sharp manner broke through Colin's girl related befuddlement and he laughed just a bit. Quietly he said to Quinn: "Och! Remind me never to cross an Irish lass! And particularly one named Charlie Grace!"
Now that he'd recovered from his bashful blush, he turned back to Charlie: "Er, no, Charlie. We --- weren't, you know, snogging. Or, you know, anything. Um. Hehheh! We were just talking!" He laughed again, more at his own embarrassment than anything else: "Anyway, Quinn's my friend! And, well, there's only one girl in Hogwarts I'd --- er --- be wanting to snog with anyway."
Colin began to blush bright red all over again.

How do I say this?
Emily stood at the door frame not wanting to enter the room yet. The young girl was barely listening but when she thought she heard the word "snogging" she looked at the three of them confused.
She didn't want to say anything about the topic, nor did she want them to think that she was spying on them. Emily decided to stand beside the door but where no one could see her. Emily now in the hall thinking about what she thought she heard.
While she was thinking about it, she was slightly blushing, until she started thinking about her own relationship with her cousin Senri. No one in her family knew about it. Only the two of them did. And they wanted to keep it that way until the time was right to tell everyone.
While she was thinking about her secret relationship with her cousin she started blushing even more. Emily didn't want anyone else to know about her secret relationship and neither did Senri. The two of them would only tell someone if they trusted them with their life.
After she stopped thinking about and her blush died down, she slowly walked back to where she was before, but without saying a word once again.

How do I say this?
Emily had told Charlie that she had already told Colin and Quinn what she was doing there. Colin told Emily that he didn't mean to scare her, if he did. He said that Quinn and Charlie where his friends, and he would do anything to protect them. By saying that it made Quinn smile, she was happy that she had made some good friends.
Emily said that she understood what Colin had done if she had friends. "wait- did she say if I had friends? Dose she not have any friends...? Best not to ask...' she thought. She face palmed and left.
After she left Charlie asked if they where snogging. Colin got very flustered, Quinn wasn't much different. " Snogging?!? No!! I would never song Colin!! Wait- That came out wrong!! I would song Colin! No, not like that!" Quinn frantically said, her face was beat red. She felt like sinking into the earth and never coming back up again.
Emily had come back, but Quinn's was to busy trying to function and decide how she would explain why she said that. Emily had said something, it may have been I came back but Quinn had no clue. Charlie must have heard, because she had said something about how 'we did notice'.
Quinn took a deep breath, and looked around. Colin told her to remind him not to cross an Irish girl, Specifically one named Charlie Grace. Quinn laughed at that a bit, "consider yourself reminded" she told him. He assured Charlie that the did not song.

Charlie broke out into a loud laughter, smacking her knee obnoxiously, completely dismissing her previous irritation. The looks on Colin and Quinn's faces were absolutely priceless, and caused her to snort uncontrollably.
"Aye, 'chu should see yer faces!" Her face grew hot and tears started to form in her eyes. The two grew a deep shade of red on their cheeks and if only Charlie could take a picture to show them. Their frustration didn't help their case more, but at least she broke the tension for now.
Colin and Quinn noting that Charlie wasn't a force to be reckoned with made her grin. Though when she took a look at the door again as she through her head back, she noticed a shadow looming over the door. Carefully she got up the creeky chair, and stood behind the door as well. She didn't hear anything but gripped onto the lever and quickly opened it, revealing Emily standing there.
"Aye, so ye are an eve'sdropper." She crossed her arms, the cheerful feeling washed away now. Part of her was curious to what Colin and Quinn had to say, but it seemed they were interrupted every time. "If ye want teh join then knock next time."

How do I say this?
Colin turned redder and redder as first he and then Quinn got all flustered about Red Charlie's saying they were snogging in the classroom! Quinn looked like she wanted to die, and Colin would have buried himself along with her! And then Charlie began laughing! And it was loud and it was unabashed! Clearly Charlie thought their embarrassment was great fun.
"Charlie---!" Colin said bashfully. "It's not like that! Quinn --- she's a great friend! And you're not helping us any, Charlie." Colin looked back towards Quinn. He gave her a quizzical look. Did she just say she'd snog me? He blunk his eyes several times. He wondered. Of course, he'd just hinted at his own snogging interest --- but he hadn't mentioned anything to Quinn about that yet either! Was that just the confusion of the moment? Or something else? Colin knew he'd said some odd things to friends in tumultuous moments --- perhaps that's all it was with Quinn?
Colin didn't have time to ponder the implications, for Red Charlie stood up suddenly and went to the door. She must think someone's there. Colin closed his eyes and listened. Was that breathing? Or a slight scrape of shoe on floor?
Charlie yanked the door open --- and revealed Emily! Colin stood again, only surprised this time. "She must have heard everything, Quinn! The bit about snogging and all!"
Colin groaned a bit as he collapsed into the chair again. He tried to smile at Quinn. "Our meeting didn't go very well here, did it?" He tried to laugh, but his face was still red. "They think --- er. Well --- that we --- um. Grr. And I can't hardly remember what you told me earlier, Quinn!"
He turned back towards Charlie and Emily. He narrowed his eyes are Charlie especially. "Evesdroppers and spies, both of yiz!" He stuck his tongue out at Charlie. Then at Emily. "Should just jinx both of you for that! And now Quinn won't say anything!"
"I guess, it's up to you Quinn --- should we cast out the spies or will you tell them what you were going to tell me earlier?" Colin asked. Either way, Colin hoped she would tell him again! He was sure it was wonderful news, just interrupted in the telling!

How do I say this?
When the door opened Emily was revealed, she stopped thinking about what she was thinking and said,
"I-I wasn't eavesdropping! Also, I don't know if I even want to be here! I feel like I'm not wanted right now! So, if that's the case, I'll actually leave you guys alone!"
Emily's eyes started to water and she tried her best to hold back her tears by thinking about her cousin. Thinking about her cousins helps her whenever she's sad or mad or just not feeling herself.
After some silence, Emily added,
"Just so you three know, I don't have any friends here at all. So, if you guys don't want me to be here, I'll just go and leave you alone!"
After Emily said that she couldn't stop the tears from coming, so she let them fall. Emily then ran out of the classroom and ran to the nearest bathroom. Once Emily got to the bathroom she started crying. She let out everything she was keeping inside of her.
After a while, she stopped crying and looked at herself in the mirror. She whipped her tears and she thought about her cousins to try and calm herself down. Emily didn't care if anyone came into the bathroom, so just wanted friends.

How do I say this?
Charlie laughed at Quinn and Colin. "Charlie! It's not that funny!" Quinn told her. Colin said what Quinn had ment to say, "yes! That's what I ment to say!" she said to her friends.
She looked at Charlie, She opened up the door to the classroom and Emily was behind it. Charlie told her that she was eavesdropping, Colin pointed out how she must have heard everything about the snogging. "Did you!?" she looked at Emily.
Colin collapsed into a chair, "Your right.. It did not go as plan" she told him. He said the they probably thought that they where snogging, he then said that he forgot what Quinn had told him. He called Charlie and Emily spies. "I'm pretty sure that Charlie just heard the noise and came in.." she told Colin and Charlie.
He told Quinn that it was up to her, "They can stay, Emily probably heard and I do need too tell Charlie" She said looking around the room. Emily shouted and said that they don't want her there, and that she didn't want to be there either. "I just said you could stay..." She told her. Emily said that she doesn't have any friends and left the room.
Quinn looked at her friends, she didn't know what to do. Did she just say her news? Or do they go after Emily?

Charlie stood there with bewilderment, still propping the door open with her arm. She turned to the two, and let the door fall naturally.
"Did I say sumthin'?"She asked the two, and quickly followed,"Oi! I ain't no spy! You snarky, tall fella were loud!" She pointed at Colin, with a slight grin on her face. As Quinn said, she heard commotion and decided to investigate. Perhaps next time she'll just be more careful.
Quinn looked confused as well, so now Charlie didn't feel like she was the only one. The sudden burst of anger from the girl wasn't expected, and caught her off guard. When she was Emily run away, she felt slightly guilty.
Getting a look from Quinn made her take a deep breath, and beckoned the two to follow behind her.
"Let's go find 'er," She peeked out the door, looking both ways down the corridor. The sound of distant running footsteps came from the right, and proceeded to walk down while hugging her shoulder against the wall. The last thing she'd want was to be confronted by a Prefect and it be taken out of context.
Charlie wanted to apologize, and hopefully make amends, if only she could find her.

How do I say this?
Colin nodded as Quinn said Charlie and Emily could stay. Fair enough! If it were his own news --- well, he would have kicked the spy out! But Quinn was being sweet and perhaps her news was something happy that could more easily be shared! He was actually pretty excited that she was going to repeat what she'd said earlier, and hopefully expand on it a bit!
Colin snorted when Charlie said she wasn't a spy. And when she called Colin a snarky tall fellow, he said: "Hey! What did I say??"
But then Emily stormed out in a tirade! Colin stared into the empty space that was just occupied by Emily, unsure about what just happened. "Did --- did she just storm out of here, blaming us? She wanted to be here and now she doesn't want to be here? Honestly, how can anyone even try to be her friend if she's like that?"
He rolled his eyes as he leaned back in the chair, clasping his hands behind his head. "Girls! They're so weird! And this one's all drama queen!" Colin thought about that for a moment. "You know, girls, I'm really glad you two aren't weird!"
After a while it became clear that Emily wasn't coming back, and none of the three of them had jumped up to go after her. Colin figured she'd come back once she calmed down. Charlie --- Colin thought she might just say 'good riddance!' She was still holding the door open, looking a bit confused. Quinn was surely the only one of them who wouldn't mind so much if Emily came back.
Colin shrugged and turned back to face Quinn, all thoughts of snogging and spies rapidly disappearing. He cleared his throat softly, before anyone could suggest a rescue mission. "Soooo, Quinn! Tell us your big news! Start over from the beginning --- I don't want to miss anything! What do you say Red Charlie?"
"Aw crikey, Charlie! I thought you of all people would just say 'good riddance'! We were going to settle in for a nice long chat and it turns out you're the one to suggest a rescue mission!" Colin groaned, but got up all the same. He looked over at Quinn and shrugged. Then he smiled as Charlie poked her head out the door. "Who knows! Maybe that girl will have fallen into some old secret chamber or something and we'll really have an adventure!"
With that, he followed Red Charlie out into the corridor.
