Escape Room
Gemini was walking down the corridors looking for Emma. They were going to meet up and study together, maybe even hang out by the lake. She looked around the hall for a clock to check the time, but she couldn't see to find one.
"I should really get a watch or something. I don't know if I'm too late or too early..." Gemini said missing muggle technology.
She groaned at the weight of the books in her arms. Trying to rearrange the pile to hopefully relieve the pressure on her arms she stumbled in the halls. With a big oomf Gemini managed to drop some of the books she was holding, and as she reached down to pick them up her Remembrall rolled out of her pocket and down the corridor.
"Oh no. Oh no no no..." she mumbled to herself as she ungracefully grabbed her books and chased the rolling ball passed classrooms and mingling students.
As she ran down the hall she spotted Emma and hollered in her direction. "Hey, Emma could you grab that ball?!" she said out of breath. Soon enough they both chased the ball into an abandoned bathroom at the end of a secluded hall.
The ball bumped against the sink and finally stopped in its tracks. Gemini stopped and bent down with her hands on her knees, breathing heavily. "Finally... I really need to work out more." she said finally evening out her oxygen intake.
She put her books on the sink counter and picked up the Remembrall and placed it back into her robes pocket, making sure it was deep enough to avoid this happening again. She gave Emma a tired smile.
Grabbing her books Gemini went to push open the bathroom door, but it wouldn't budge.

Escape Room
Emma watched as Gemini tried to force the pried door open, this was one of the worse places to be stuck in at a time like this. "Please tell me you can open the door?" She asked inhaling and exhaling as fast as she could. She choked once or twice at the unappetizing fragrance that drifted around the bathroom.
Emma instinctively threw her bags down to go and giggle the door handle for herself, but like Gemini, it was no use. Oh, God. Not now. Emma thought to herself. "This is a bathroom for God's sake!" She exclaimed her voice causing a small pebble to fall from somewhere in the abandoned room.
Emma stared at the cracked mirror as if it were vomit, that wasn't satisfying. She rubbed her arms in an attempt to get rid of the goosebumps that were forming on her arm. She looked around at the sinks that had clearly been a bit rusted, "Is that mold?" She asked extremely revolted. Emma held her stomach together to prevent herself from barfing, the smell would only intensify ten times worse.
She continued to pace around the bathroom, though she knew it was no help. "This is not happening.. Is it?" Emma asked as she stared at the outdated ground

Escape Room
Gemini stepped back from the jammed door to check on her friend who was having some sort of mental break, looking around she understood why. The room looked as if no one had cleaned it in over a hundred years.
"Hey, don't worry. We will find a way out, but we're going to have to work together." she said walking towards Emma to make sure she was okay. Gemini gave her friend a comforting hug as they both began to look around hoping to find some kind of exit.
If the door wouldn't budge then they'd have to look for a window, but the real issue was that there was only one. Which sadly was about the size of a cereal box way too high to reach, with thick metal bars.
"Man, it's like a prison in here." she said, instantly regretting it as soon as she saw Emma's anxious face. "Never mind... Pretend I didn't say that."
Gemini walked towards the window and tried to reach up to grab the bars, but it was no use. The window was too high and she was way too short. She stood on her tippy toes on the seat of the toilet and managed to get a glimpse of the courtyard. With a big sigh she jumped back onto the ground. "I don't know any spells to get us out. Ugh, I came from a world with no magic, so we can solve this without it. We just have to stop and think clearly." she said focusing on what she knew.
"This is a magic castle. There has to be some sort of way out... Wait I have an idea." she said, some sort of glint in her eyes giving off the impression that she had an idea. "Don't you have your textbooks in your bag? Hogwarts: A History! This castle is old and magical, and I know I saw something..." Gemini said trailing off as Emma handed her the book and she began to flip through the pages.
"Found it! The original site plans for Hogwarts... If we can see the courtyard then we must be right... Here! And it looks like there should be another pathway that was blocked off. Come on, lets look for any loose bricks or secret doorways." Gemini said with a mischievous look on her face.
"Let's get out of here." she said as they began pressing walls, turning knobs, and anything they could to unlock some sort of hidden passage.

"Man, it's like a prison in here," she said, instantly regretting it as soon as she saw Emma's anxious face. "Never mind... Pretend I didn't say that." At this comment, Emma's eyes widened.
"Whoa-hoa, prison?" Emma said her head offset with her body by an inch, Spectatular choice of words. She decided to leave that part out. She ambled around the bathroom kicking several bricks absentmindedly, relieving her stress only by a bit.
Her eyes flew from the cracked mirror to the stained window, both looked about the same in her opinion. Emma gave a big leap and touched the window sill just barely. She dusted her hand quickly as if she had just touched bones, and it was abandoned, there was no telling what was up there. By this time, she had adapted to the disgusting atmosphere, though every once in a while she inhaled, also inhaling the unknown, which scared her slightly.

"You already know so much for a Muggle-born." Emma chuckled at Gemini's already-peaked intelligence. She began to twist and turn bricks, and she even tried turning a bathroom lock, nothing happened. Then an idea bounced into her head, "wait, what if the key out if like how we got into Diagon Alley?" Emma said recalling how her father and she had gotten in by locating a certain brick and not just by luck.
"Three up, two across, three times." She moved her finger up and to the right, this seemed to have calmed her down even more. Emma dropped her hand at her side, but still, she continued knocking at every brick she came in contact with.

Escape Room
"You already know so much for a Muggle-born." Emma chuckled. Gemini responded with a small playful giggle. "Hey! The second I learned about Hogwarts I had to learn more about it," she said smiling.
Her and Emma tried their best to look around the disgusting room. "wait, what if the key out if like how we got into Diagon Alley?" Emma said trying the same pattern, but it was no use. With a defeated sigh Gemini stopped in the middle of the room and looked around, squinting to see if there was anything odd or out of place.
"Hmmm, how about this?" she said looking at the four mirrors lined up on one wall. She had learned a trick back home to check for two-way mirrors, where one side was used as a window to view unsuspecting individuals looking into what seemed like a regular mirror. When you place your finger on the mirror and there is a space between you and your reflection then it is normal, but if your finger and the reflection touch then it is double-sided.
Gemini looked determined as she used her sleeve to wipe down the first mirror. She placed her finger against the glass and looked closely. There was a clear space, so she moved to the second mirror. Emma stared at her in confusion, as she realized she didn't tell her what she was doing.
"I'm checking for two-way mirrors. Maybe if there is one then there must be a room behind it." she said focused and praying that her theory was right. She moved to the second mirror and repeated the process. There was a space, so it was a regular mirror.
Gemini move to the third mirror. Rubbing her now dirty sleeve on the mirror and placing her finger down. She squinted closely. "Wait! There is no space. This has the be a two-way mirror." she said, slightly disgusted at the implication of ever needing to install this type of thing in a girls lavatory.
Calling over Emma they both began scrapping at the edges of the mirror trying to find some kind of latch.

Escape Room
Emma looked curiously at her as she checked the mirrors. She tapped her foot, easing the sensation mixed with pain and agitation. "They're just mirrors... but you may be on to something." She added watching her rub the mirrors with her robes. The brunette grimaced as she watched Gemini remove and replace her sleeve on to another mirror.
She didn't exactly know what a two-day mirror was, though she was both part Muggle and Wizard. Emma inched forward towards her though she was bombarded by the everlasting smell that she loathed. The smell that ran through her lungs made her wonder whether something had died in here, or thrown up. Or maybe both.
Thankfully, her revolting thought interrupted by Gemini. "Wait! There is no space. This has the be a two-way mirror." Her gaze once again returned to Gemini who's sleeve how now as filthy as ever. You could have easily mistaken her robes for brown instead of black. Emma ran over to her and reluctantly started to knock at the mirrors.
Wouldn't a mirror be obvious... maybe a trap? Emma concealed in her mind. She had no idea what she was doing, but she continued to follow Gemini's actions. If there was one thing she could not do, it was lead, or speak her mind. After building up the courage, she spoke. "Don't you think, maybe, that the whole two-way mirror thing might be a trap? What possible other room could it lead to?" As she said this, she imagined a mix of good and bad. Maybe it was a soft-bed, softer than the one she had already slept in. Maybe it was Devil's Snare, the plant that resembled gigantic Boa Constrictors. Hopefully, it was the Mirror of Erised, or even worse a boggart.
Guess we'll find out... The little voice inside of her shook as she thought to herself, though she didn't comprehend how this was possible.
