Kim’s reaction to her saying she had used the vanilla extract in the cookies made her laugh.
After he said that Kim immediately devoured one and grabbed a few more. This made Bailey laugh again; they should really bake together soon.
Watching Kim eat her cookies, Bailey smiled. She loved watching people eat and enjoy her food, especially if she knew them.
As he joined her on the bing bags, he asked if she had brought a book. She smiled and looked at the book he had brought over. Bailey said “I did… and it happens to be that book you have right there. I love the princess bride. There is also a muggle movie on it, and it is probably my favorite movie ever. Did you bring a book? I did not grab one yet… there was only one other and I wanted to leave options for other people. I am going to grab one before I leave though…”
Settling down into her chair, Bailey debated getting up to go get another cookie. Deciding that she had eaten enough cookies and cookie dough, Bailey turned to Kim.
“So… how have your classes been? Have you had a chance to make it to the kitchens lately? We really should set a date to cook or bake together.”

When Kim looked down, Bailey followed his gaze- he had drawn the book she had put in. Laughing, Bailey said “When I draw one later, you will have to tell me if I drew yours. That would be a coincidence. And a funny one at that!”
As she sat, Kim handed her a cookie. She didn’t take it till he teased her saying something like why don’t you want another cookie. Bailey accepted it, laughing a little. “I was trying to restrain myself and leave some for the other members- I ate quite a few while making them - and some of the dough. I mean, does anyone make cookies, especially chocolate chip cookies without tasting the dough?”
When she asked how his classes were going, Kim sighed. Bailey remembered him mentioning that he disliked flying class, and she figured this is why he was not excited for Tuesday. what other classes does he have on Tuesday? she wondered. When he said he liked his other classes, Bailey smiled, happy for him. When he asked her, she smiled. “Same for me. Flying… is not my favorite class. I’m fine when we are on the ground studying the theory of how the brooms were made, but once I have to interact with a broom… well I will just say that they seem to dislike me.”
As Kim answered her question about visiting the kitchen, he seemed nervous. are we not supposed to visit the kitchen? Bailey wondered.
Then Kim asked what she had in mind for cooking/baking together. Bailey said in response, “I really don’t have a plan I just think it would be fun. Do you have any preferences on what we make?”

When she said that she didn’t know what book he had brought, Kim told her. “Awesome! Even if I don’t get it today I am definitely going to make sure I have a chance to read it! It’s title is 1st to Die correct?”
Smiling and accepting the cookie Kim was offering her, Bailey said “I guess one wouldn’t hurt…”
When Kim teased her about eating the dough, she smiled and said “I am sure you have done the same- it’s a tradition I feel like. No one makes cookies, especially chocolate chip cookies, without eating the dough.”
As she talked about brooms and flying, she noticed that Kim was not smiling. She decided to change the topic to food, and cookies in particular.
Kim had a wonderful idea, and Bailey loved it. “That sound like so much fun! We could do other east treats as well, like some fruit tarts or caramel apples. They can have healthier options like fruit, and you don’t have to eat a cookie for the workout if you don’t want to- you can just do the work out. And maybe we could do flyers? Ari Gwild has taught me some tricks and stuff for graphic designing, so I could probably make some decent ones.”

When Kim said that he was interested in what she would think of the book he brought, 1st to Die Bailey nodded, saying “I will let you know what I think! We could definitely trade book recommendations more often too!”
Them he went on to talk about Snack Bento boxes, and Bailey loved the idea.
“I think that is a great idea! It would make sure everyone gets equal portions and such, according to what workout and such they did. That way, we don’t have a riot of people arguing that someone got more than they did.”
She also liked the idea of having a theme. Thinking, she suddenly thought of an idea!
“I like the idea for a theme-..” she said, and then continued after gathering her thought.
“What if… we did like an animal theme. Then we can have a theme for the food, and the workouts. I have a few ideas for animal themed workouts, and food ideas. I’ll send them in a response owl to yours.
Also… what do we had different levels or sections for the workouts, and the boxes coordinated with that? Like, maybe there were where the animals tend to live, and the different animals that live there each were a workout?”
After that, Bailey waited to hear Kim’s thoughts and such, knowing that if she kept going she would never stop talking.

Kim nodded at her words and Bailey was glad he liked her idea. She loved his, and they were sure to come up with an amazing even.
When Kim mentioned a theme, Bailey said “What if we did like an animal theme? We could have the fruit cut in animal shapes and the workouts could be animal themed as well. I have a few ideas for the workouts.. I’ll include them in my owl, and i will wait to tell you till I get your letter.”
Then she glanced around, as Kim asked if the meeting was over. She said “I think it might be, and I will have to go soon. I promised someone I would help with their homework, and we agreed to meet in like a half hour.”
Bailey waited for a response, and looked at Marcel and Lucia. They were chatting. Bailey was not sure if anybody else was coming, but she whispered to Kim “Should we go? Or should we ask Lucia? I don’t want to interrupt her conversation with Marcel, but…”
Worried and debating internally Bailey thought of something else to include in her owl.
She had a few good drink recipes that were easy and alcohol free and with her fake Hogsmead pass, she could get some drinks too. They could name them after animals and their habitats too.
She smiled at the idea, and waited for Kim to speak.

The next to turn up to the meeting was a boy with brown hair and glasses. "You're not late!" Lucia assured him quickly. "I'm Lucia, hi. The books to swap are on there" - she gestured to the table, which currently featured four books (her own contribution and the three that the brunette girl had brought), and then continued with her mentally pre-planned speech - "and there's recommendations in that box so you can take one out or put one in!" The boy decided to go with the swap table for now and Lucia watched him put down a copy of Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. By his whisper to it, it must be an important book to him. He introduced himself as @Marcel Wheatley, and Lucia held out her hand for him to shake. "Nice to meet you too!" There was a slightly awkward pause. "Thanks for coming."

After a moment or two, another member joined the group, this time a blond girl wearing a Ravenclaw jumper and carrying a plate of chocolate chip cookies, much to Lucia's suprise. She looked vaguely familiar to Lucia, but it wasn't until the girl spoke that the Hufflepuff recognised her. Maybe it was fitting that it was the girl's voice that did it for Lucia, because this was the younger girl who'd talked (on and on and on) to Lucia and Eun-ji, then Carolyn, at the errand which had taken place a year ago in order to welcome in the spring. Obviously the girl didn't remember it though, which was probably for the best. Instead, she introduced herself as @Bailey Glade and announced that she'd baked the cookies herself. Lucia eyed them hungrily. They looked so much nicer than the plain Digestives she'd contributed. "Definitely okay," she told Bailey. "That's so nice of you!" Lucia definitely hadn't expected anybody to bring refreshments, let alone bake any. "I'm Lucia." She quickly explained the book swap system and the recommendations box.

The next person to turn up was a white-haired boy [@Kim Sato]who didn't join the conversation at first, but that was okay. Instead, Lucia watched him as he swapped his book for Bailey's old copy of The Princess Bride before greeting Bailey herself. Unsure what to say since she'd received nothing but a nod from the boy, Lucia gave him a little awkward wave. "Hi, I'm Lucia. Thanks for coming!"

Bailey and the boy quickly began a conversation, including Marcel at first but then drifting off to talk just by themselves. At a loss for what to do, Lucia wandered over to the table with the books on it and had a look at each one. She'd heard of Divergent but never read it, so maybe she should try now? It was a dystopian, though, and dystopian books weren't known for having happy endings, so she moved on. Miss Peregrine's Home For Perculiar Children had an interesting title but a strange cover, while the death which was surely in Murder On The Oreant Express and 1^st To Die was something Lucia would rather stay away from. Instead, she just picked up the book she herself had brought and perched on the table.

By the time she'd made it through chapter one, Lucia had eaten two biscuits and the brunette girl seemed to have left. Hearing her name spoken by Bailey, Lucia looked up. "Sorry?" Ah, it had happened again! When reading a good book, Lucia tended to be fairly oblivious to the world around her. She placed The School For Good And Evil back on the table and checked her watch. "It's almost the end of the meeting," she announced. "Feel free to grab another book if you want, or even multiple. No point letting them go to waste." Well, they wouldn't go to waste. Lucia would work out something to do with any left over books if she needed to.
