It was a weekend at hogwarts, Students where walking throughout the halls. Talking and hanging out with there friends. Quinn was going to the library, To read some of the books. Quinn loved the library, She loved how quiet it was. It was like the lake, Peaceful. Unlike the lake she could read a book without worrying about it getting wet. Quinn dogged all of the students walking through the halls. When she got to the library, She walked in and smiled.
Quinn was walking all around the shelves grabbing books with interesting titles. She was careful not to go into the restricted section of the library. She knew if she did she would most likely get detention. Quinn was curious on what was back there, but she did not want to get detention like that.
Quinn looked at the restricted section and shook her head. 'There has to be some cool books in there?' She let out a sigh. And continued to walk around the parts of the library she was allowed to be in.
Once she had a stack that was almost as tall as one of the house elves. She took her large stack and went to sit down at one of the benches to read. She was going to be there for a while.

Kay had been immersed in her book, not noticing anything going on. Not the passage of time, not anyone walking in or out of the library, until one girl walked in. The girl was looking for books. She eventually picked up a giant stack of books and sat down at the table across from Kay. She recognized most of them, but there were a couple she didn't. The ones she recognized were really good ones.
Kay looked at the page number of her book, then closed it. She got up, then walked over to the table that the girl was sitting at. She sat down and looked at the giant pile of books. It was much larger up close. She looks at the girl and says “Those are some pretty good books. What's your name?”
Kay immediately regretted saying that. Who asks people's names because of books? Well, now she had to live with embarrassing herself. "Aren’t Ravenclaws supposed to be smart?" She thought to herself. She opened her book quickly after saying that and pretended to read. She didn't know what this would do but it might save her from some embarrassment. Her eyes just stared at the page, waiting for a response.Word count: 202

As Quinn was reading her book, She heard someone ask her what her name was. She looked up from the book she was reading. To see a girl. The girl also had a book, before Quinn could answer she opened up her book and pretended to read, Quinn could tell she was pretending.
"Oh! hello, Are these books good? i've never read them before now...anyways! My name is Quinn! Whats your name?" She asked, looking at the girl she saw that the girl had red hair.
Quinn realized that she still had her book open, She finished the page she was on and looked at the number at the bottom of the page, once she was sure she had the page number merosed she closed the book. 'I wonder if this girl loves to read to? What's her house?, Should probably wait to ask that, If you ask now she might think that I think that my house is the best!' Quinn sat waiting for the girls answer.
Mindlessly Quinn started to stack her massive stack of books based on height. Starting with the one that had the longest spine, Going to the one that had the shortest spine. Once Quinn had finished stacking her books she hoped that they would not fall on her.

Kay looked up from her book. This girl seemed friendly. "Yeah, I read them a couple of months ago. My name is Kay, Kay Evergreen." Kay closes her book. The book was a couple of inches thick, and the pages were yellow with age.
She looks around the room. There were a couple of students at different tables. She turns to Quinn. "

The restricted section is dimly lit, unlike the rest of the library. The very few students who were sitting near were getting up and leaving. Most of the time the library had people entering and leaving every couple of minutes, but since it was the weekend there wasn't that much activity.

The girl looked up from her book and told Quinn her name "You have a very pretty name!" She complimented. Quinn looked around the library, It was not the fullest Quinn had ever seen it. In fact it might be the most emptied she had ever seen. There were still people of course, but not as much as she had normally seen.

"Thanks!" Kay said not noticing her hair turn pink. Her hair was out of her face so there was no way she could have noticed. It was a light pink, not a bright one.
Quinn said she had heard the same thing about the books. "Same!" Kay said excitedly. She was happy to meet someone who also loved books. "One of my friends told me that they snuck a book out of there, but I think they were lying." Kay says looking towards the restricted section.
"To me, I think it would be worth the detention, but I know my parents would freak out. They don't want me to get into any trouble while I'm here." Kay says smiling and rolling her eyes a little. Her parents had given her an entire lecture a week before school started about not getting in any trouble. It had been a really long one too.
Quinn tells Kay her house. "Thats cool," Kay says. "Im a Ravenclaw." Kay had never really talked with people outside her house before. In her classes she never really socialized because she was busy doing her work, so her only time to socialize was in the common room.

Kay thanked Quinn for the compliment of her name. She did not notice that Kay's hair had turned in to a light pink color. Kay exactly said same when Quinn had told her about the books. "if they did seek one out they have to let you read it! It would just be cruel if they told you that and did not let you read it!" Quinn told her.
"I only want to get it once, you know to see what its like" she told her. Kay rolled her eyes when she said that her parents would freak out if she got in trouble. Quinn giggled a little bit. "probably the same would happen with my parents, but I'm not sure" she said.

#320550"Fair, fair."Kay replied. "I would probably get caught though." She wasn't the sneakiest person out there. Honestly, the most she had ever done that would be considered sneaky is taking some pie from the Great Hall back to the dorms. She rested her head on her arm, her head facing Quinn.
Kay nodded. "That's cool" She had wished that she had someone to ask questions to when she was younger, but the past couldn't be changed. It was really cool to meet someone that was like her. She thought that it was really lucky that she met another metamorph just by going to the library.
Kay looked confused. Why wouldn't you show anyone? It's a super cool ability." She had always loved making her friends laugh by changing her nose or mouth to something absurd. One of her favorite pastimes was just seeing what she could do with her ability.
Oh, one time when I was like 7, my hair was stuck in a light gray for like a month while my cat was missing. We got him back though. She said with a slight grin on her face. It wasn't really a funny story, but for some reason she always had to hold back laughs whenever she thought of it.WC:211
