How Josephine looks:

Josephine walked around moving her arms tightly, very upset. She was looking for Andros, her sixteen years old brother. Early that morning, at breakfast time, someone enchanted her book so it would try to bite her at any chance. After going to the infirmary, she was determined to look for her brother to kill him. The bite did not hurt as much as one could have imagined, but still! It made her bleed and, now, she was planning to do the same. Well, maybe not. But he had to pay! And she did not know where was the Slytherin common room, although she was willing to figure it out. She was just walking in the same direction, as she usually could see the members of that house coming from there when it was time to eat in the Great Hall.

Luckily, she found someone who could help her. It didn't matter for her if she had to talk to Slytherins. Her father was one, her oldest brother was one. They were normal people, they were able to laugh and to make joked like everybody else. They were also very annoying sometimes, more than everybody else. Good thing she loved them, although not enough to let that one slide.

She stepped in front of the boy and smiled like she had never been a bad girl. "Hi! Sorry to bother you, but... You're a Slytherin, right?" He seemed to come from the right direction, but who knew. One thing she learned from Hogwarts was that, sometimes, people could get very, very lost. How many times did she try to open a door that took nowhere? Or doors that one day opened to a classroom and the next day to an empty room? It was madness. And she loved it. One of the paintings on the wall coughed and she looked at it. What? Was it wrong to ask for a common room that wasn't yours?

Shawn, like most days, was in a pretty good mood. Today at lunch, he had impressed some friends by being able to juggle three apples, shortly before dropping all of them which caused a good laugh. When a fellow first-year slipped on these apples, it caused an even bigger laugh amongst the friends. After spending a bit longer with his buds, Shawn decided to retreat to the Common Room to relax for a little bit. Stifling a yawn, he turned the corner to see a Gryffindor first-year standing right in front of him with a wide smile.

This had hurt Shawn's mood, he was sick of seeing the Gryffindors everywhere. He wished he was in his room right now, there weren't any Gryffindors in there. He grimaced when the young girl asked him if he was a Slytherin, he knew once he told her he was, some of her Gryffindor friends would pop out and pull some stupid prank on him. He had dealt with it before, and would most likely deal with it again.

"Yeah, yeah I am a Slytherin. Why? Gonna do some dumb Gryffindor prank on me? Go ahead, get your friends, I'll wait." He crossed his arms and looked at the girl opposite him with a sneer. He was already sick of talking to this girl he had just met, surely nothing good would come out of this conversation.

As soon as the boy spoke, Josephine frowned. She looked at him as if suddenly he grew a second head. Was that what the other people in her house did? Prank innocent students? He didn’t seem to like pranks at all, or maybe he just didn’t like to be the object of the prank. She loved harmless ones, but only when she knew that other person would like it too. Like her brothers. There was always a come back, however, they knew they could take it. They knew there would be no grudges and where to draw the line.

“Why are you making it sound like I’m going to beat you up or something? What have the others done to you to be so defensive? Jeez, they must suck at playing pranks, huh?” She answered. He was really making it look as if Gryffindor was a bad gang. “Look, I’m not going to prank you, I don’t know you. If I can’t tell how you’d take a prank, I just can’t do it. It’s rude, and pranks suppose to be fun for both parties. If not, that’s bullying or just very mean.” And her mother did not take that kind of behaviour slightly. She didn’t always know better, Josephine had to learn with time what kind of jokes and pranks were funny and what kind were just mean.

She smiled, trying to start over. “I mean, you’re not completely wrong, I do want to prank someone, but just because he started it. Andros Aitken? He’s a Slytherin and he is my older brother. He enchanted one of my books this morning, so I want revenge. But don’t worry, we do this all the time.” She assured him, because it was true. Their pranks were an infinite cycle.

Shawn deeply sighed. He wasn't mad at the Gryffindor standing opposite him, he just felt bad for her. Clearly, she didn't know how tormenting the older people in her house could be, especially to a Slytherin first year. It was a dumb rivalry that Shawn had somehow gotten forced into somewhere down the line and now he was wary of almost all Lions. But back to the topic at hand.

"Sorry, but I've never heard the name before. I'm sure you and your brother have a peachy time playing pranks on each other but that's between you two. If I see him, I'll let him know you're looking for him. He's probably in the common room, I guess I could show you where that is if you want to wait." Shawn wasn't very sure what the girl expected of him, he had never met the boy she was talking about. He was much older than Shawn was and Shawn wasn't exactly popular among older years.

He looked at the girl a bit confused. Maybe she wanted his help to prank him or something? "Well, I guess if there's anything else you might need feel free to ask, I'll help if I can." Shawn was still a bit unsure about the girl but he was trying to be a bit more open-minded.
