An adventure
It was a fairly nice day outside and Silas thought it was the perfect weather for exploring. He started to think about how he hasn't really been out much and has surprisingly not really seen much, one of the places he's been wanting to go to was the great lake. Silas had never gotten around to it, he would have expected himself to see more sooner.
He started walking down to the great lake, he passed a lot of students on his way there. While he was walking he wondered what adventures and memories he would be able to make there. It was really pretty here, the water was a really pretty color, and there were only a few clouds in the sky. It was really the perfect weather for exploring.
Silas got a bit bored of sitting around so he started looking for some things that looked cool like a rock or something. As he was looking around he was thinking about who he may talk to next, he's only really met one person so far. Which in his opinion is better than none. Anyways back to reality Silas finally found a rock that he liked and started to admire it, it was a reddish color and it had what looked like little spots on it, while he was deep in concentration he heard footsteps that sounded like they were getting closer.

An adventure
Emily goes back to her common room from the Owlery and decided to go to the great lake instead she could get some sunshine so she could also explore and hopefully find a new friend. So far Emily only made one friend here at Hogwarts. She wanted to make more friends. While Emily was walking she was thinking about what she'd do at the lake. Emily walked faster than she normally would because she was thinking while she was walking.
Emily finally reached the great lake and she looked around for what she should do. The young girl really wanted to climb a tree, but she decided not to today. She also wanted to swim but she didn't have anything with her so she couldn't swim. The girl sighed and tried to think about what else she could do.
Emily looked around again until she saw a boy looking at a rock. She tilted her head to see if she could see the rock but sadly she couldn't. So, Emily being both bored and curious decided to walk up to the boy. She didn't exactly want to scare him or anything, she just wanted to see what was so special about the rock. Emily finally able to see the rock more clearly gasped. She didn't know why she gasped she just did. But for some odd reason, she remembered seeing that rock before.

An adventure
Silas heard footsteps but figured that someone was just doing the same as him, either admiring the lake or looking around so he didn't really pay much attention, he was starting to go into that concentration state while still admiring the rock and that's when he heard a gasp from someone. He turned around pretty quickly to a girl standing in a close range, not too close but close enough he could make out a few features. Like for one she seemed to be staring at the rock he was holding, the second thing he could make out is that she was a gryffindor.
“Hello!” Silas said without even really thinking
“Do you want to see the rock closer?” he said, waiting for an answer.
Silas then got caught up in thought again, he was overthinking like usual. He just hoped that this person was nice. ‘What if she also likes looking for rocks, I haven't met many people who like doing that’ Silas thought. Maybe this would become an adventure, so many things could be explored or figured out like for a start who this person was. Silas finally snapped out of whatever he was thinking about.
“I'm Silas, and you are?” Silas asked

An adventure
Emily saw the boy turn around and she looked at him. She noticed that he was a Hufflepuff. She then looked back at the rock until she heard the boy speak, then she looked back at him. She listened to the boy, obviously, then said,
"Hi! If you don't mind letting me look at it, I'd love to look more closely at it!"
Emily went back into silence and looked back at the rock. With how she was staring at the rock anyone would think she was glaring at it, but she wasn't, she just wanted to see the rock 'cause she thought it was pretty and nice. Emily then heard the boy introduce himself.
"He said his name's Silas? That's interesting, but it's also a nice name. I guess I should introduce myself as well as complement his name." Emily thought. She then said,
"Silas, you have a nice name. Also, I'm Emily. Emily Flower."
Now that Emily knew the boy's name and that he turned around she looked closely at him to see if she recognized him, but she didn't. Emily probably did see him around tho, but she wasn't sure. She then looked back at the rock so she wasn't staring at Silas anymore.
