I am aware that they are a common food in many different cultures, but people are allowed to be uncomfortable with a topic and have their own opinion on different things. Where I am from, mice and rats are commonly kept as pets and I have raised both multiple times throughout my life and the current topic makes me and others uncomfortable. If someone asks you to stop talking about a topic because it makes them uncomfortable, please stop talking about that topic.
