  Blackthorn is a very unusual wand wood and has the well-proven reputation of being best suited to warriors. In this however it has no attraction to a particular side, being found in equal measures among Aurors as well as the prisoners of Azkaban and the former Death Eaters – though the latter even more than the former will enjoy the blackthorn wand's prodigious power.
  Like the Blackthorn bush with its wicked thorns, that produces its sweetest berries after the hardest frosts, the wands made from this wood appear to need to pass through danger or hardship with their owners to become truly bonded. If this condition is met, Blackthorn wands will become the most loyal and faithful of servants.
  Wand Choice: Performs well for physical fighters; becomes better bonded to its owner after being used in a dangerous situation.
  Flavor: Some use these wands as a martial weapon. (Use punch stats) It would feel like they were struck by a thorny switch. No bleeding but they would have marks as if they were cut from the blow that would heal like a normal cut.
  
  Unicorn Tail Hair is renown as a wand core that produces the most consistent magic and is the least subject to fluctuations and blockages when casting spells. Considered to be extremely loyal and moralistic. Wands from Unicorn Hair are the most faithful of wands and renown for being the most difficult to be turned to the Dark Arts.
  As a core Unicorn Hair, while it makes for steady, reliable wands, does not produce the most powerful magic unless the wood compensates for this weak point. They are prone to being melancholic if mishandled and wands produced from Unicorn Hair can even go so far as to stop working entirely if their owner dies, provided they have been paired with a wand wood of that inclination.
  It's one of the most common wand cores and used by Wandmaker Garrick Ollivander.

  Josephine's life has been quite fun and happy, to be honest. Being the youngest of four, she is the only daughter of the Aitken's family. However, I must admit that being a lady differs from acting like one. Since childhood, it has been normal to see Joey covered in mud with a destroyed new dress; it was a routine to spot her following her older brothers or bringing home any animal she could capture. She was always laughing, smiling, playing pranks on everyone or begging to play quidditch with her brothers. Netherless to say that they never let her.
  
  The disagreements in the family, however, never caused tension or grudges. Josephine absolutely adores every member of her family, there's nothing more important than them. Her mother is like the sun for her. Mrs Georgina Aitken is an understanding mother, who patiently listens to all her kids equally. Some of Josephine's favorite memories are in the kitchen baking muffins, or in the garden drinking a cup of tea with her, while she says the mischiefs her brothers have done to her. Her advice is more than welcome, specially when it's directed to her husband, and no one has ever heard an unkind word from her. Mr Andrew Aitken is not so talkative, he rathers the quiet of his office or to read books in the library, but he cherish his family. He never misses the opportunity to teach his kids new tricks, to take them on long hikes or give them random facts.
  
  Josephine's brothers are not as much as their parents, more like the gnomes they have in the garden sometimes. They are the same and different at the same time. The oldest one, Andros, knows everything about quidditch and History of Magic while the second, Dominic, could not be more into potions and plants. The third, Beaumont, rathers the company of animals. And we already know Joey. But they all love each other, and rarely denied the cooperation in a mischief.
  
  Being her mother a fashion designer for wizards, and the father in the business of brooms, their house hosts receptions, little parties, meetings... Josephine has grown having her uncles, aunts and cousins very present in her life. However, she can't wait to start a new life in Hogwarts.
  
  Nobody is perfect, her family definitely is not. Regardless of all the love she have received from them, The Aitkens can also be very uptight. Their last name is known by whoever digs a little bit. Having money is for Josephine both: a benefit and a disgrace. Everything has always been perfect as long as there wa snobody else in the house but, as soon as they were hosting a party, she had to be well-manered, she had to be pleasant. She had to be too perfect. How many hours has she spent with dancing classes? Etiquette classes? Language? Too many! That's why she could not wait to go to Hogwarts. It meant complete freedom.

  It happened a normal day. Dominic and Beau were about to prank Andros and Joey was following them. She was 7, maybe 8 years old. It was summer and soon Andros would leave to go back to Hogwarts. But they didn't want Joey to be part of the prank at all. She begged and begged, but the answer was always "no". So started to get angrier and angrier and, before she knew it, both her brothers grew bunny teeth.

  Josephine - or Joey - is a 11 years old girl who is not very tall for her age. She measures 1,28 centimeters, butwhen she is angry and her face turns red, it almost seems like she becomes taller. Her skin is pale and immaculate, although she has a few scattered freckles around her face. That helps to bring attention at her beautiful baby blue eyes and her bright short curly red hair. Her lips aren't excessively full, being the upper one slightly thinner than the lower lip. Furhtermore, she is quite skinny, but do not let this fool you: she can really throw a punch.

  Joey is extremely rebellious and mischievous. She will not let any opportunity of misbehavior pass, that when she is not the one with a bad idea to perform. Of course, as long as nobody gets hurt, she will always go along with her plans, or her friends'. Although, just to be clear: she rathers laughing with people, not at them.
  
  On the other hand, she is also kind, warm and welcoming. Always with a tilted smile on her lips, she will not deny her friendship and loyalty to those who she thinks deserve them.
  
  However, having a good heart does not mean she cannot be unpleasant. If she witnesses an injustice or any kind of bullying, she will speak up. Part of being sometimes a hot-head means that she'll act first and think second. Josephine is a person who will let you know what she is thinking most of the time, not always succeeding at not hurting someone's feelings. And if she doesn't say it herself, her face will instead. She is an open book and not as good at lying as she thinks she is.
