The Gryffindor stepped into the library, the waft of old dusty books hitting his face as his hand carefully rested on the smooth wood that made the door to the library—scanning the area as his satchel rested against his hip.
He slowly began to make his way amongst the many bookshelves that held pieces of knowledge created by those far more ancient than he was. His olive eyes scanned each individual book as if he had been searching for something. Truth be it, he was indeed searching for something.
The second he had found something similar to what he was looking for, he stared up at it. Despite being taller than most students were at his age, this certainly proved a challenge.
He let out a small sigh of annoyance, running his fingers through his auburn locks as he grumbled out a quiet. "Damio.." Speaking a tidbit of his native tongue, or at least some little knowledge of it. Frustrated as he was unsure as to what to do at this point. Feeling like an idiot as he stood there, looking at the book helplessly.
Galahad had hoped to finally start off his studies of plants, especially after a week of getting distracted and being bombarded with homework. Still adjusting to everything this new world had brought, it was even impossible for him to continue any personal hobbies. Thankfully now that it was the weekend, he had pushed himself to finish his homework the day before. That way he could spend more time on himself, or at least try to.
His plans were however halted by the issue at hand, he had been standing there for a solid minute or two. Staring at the book with a stern look, realizing that just standing there and not moving to action wouldn't help him too much. The male let out a frustrated huff, trying to gather a plan in order to move his day forward rather than wasting it by standing there and just glaring at a book.
His attention quickly drifted to the tables around the room, wondering if he could find some help without causing too much of a ruckus.
Finally, he decided to halt the next person who would enter the library, hoping they were tall enough or even willing to join in on his little scheme in order to get the book. Having thought something up as he tapped his foot along the floor of the library, those olive orbs of his glowing with a sort of excitement.

Kari was working on homework in his dorm. He was looking through the books he had but still couldn't find the answer for the question he was on. He stared at the question hard. Before he realized it had been twenty almost half of an hour. He must have zoned out while trying to figure out the answer. He stood from his bed and slid off. He was a bit shorter than the normal first year. Not too much. He stood at nearly four feet and nine inches. Only off by a half inch.
He grabbed the two books he had already collected answers from and made his way down stairs to the library. The books were rather thick and were quite heavy for him but he managed. He almost stumbled down the stairs with the weight of the books throwing off his balance a slight bit. He stopped and sat on the steps to regain his strength. He wasn't the strongest nor was he the weakest. He was on the weaker side but wasn't the weakest.
He stood from the spot he had sat and picked up his books. He continued his tiring journey down to the library. He pushed the door open with his back just enough to where he could squeeze through with the books in front of him. He turned only to be met with a boy who had eyes the color of olives and a brownish red shade of hair.

Galahad's excitement rose rather quickly, glancing back at the book before turning his attention to the male that had just entered. A fellow Gryffindor just like himself, he also appeared to be a fellow first year. Surely he would understand his current situation, he hurriedly made his way over. Flashing a toothy grin, in an attempt to give the male a warm smile. Flashing his prominent canines, which was a poor attempt at a warm smile. Trying to come off as friendly as he tilted his head slightly.
"Hey..! Are you occupied at the moment?" He paused, clearing his throat as he let out a nervous laugh. "My name is Galahad Damaris." He quickly introduced himself, speaking rather quickly as he gazed back at the book on the shelf that was just out of his reach.
"I know I should be asking the librarian for assistance, but I did not want to pester them. I'm trying to get that book on plants and herbs in the wizarding world, but I just can't seem to reach it." He pointed to the book in question, hoping the other could see it. The auburn-haired male let out a huff, placing a hand on his hip. "It will only be a minute I swear, maybe if you just get on my shoulders I can help lift you to it? That way you can retrieve the book I mean."
He didn't realize how odd his own plan had sounded, so much effort for such a little thing. Yet this meant a lot for Galahad. He had plans for the research, and at that moment this seemed like such a huge thing for him. Unsure if he'd forget about such a thing, or keep holding it off. Not that he really had a time limit for what he was studying for, more so just to get started and see how it would go along as the male had been wanting to look into magical plants that were unlike the muggle world. Figuring that the extra research would be a nice book, for himself at least. The male enjoyed gardening at home, maybe he could plant one magical plant and see how it would grow in his care it would also be beneficial to get potion ingredients with ease.
The male began to tug at his own sleeves, looking desperate as he looked down at the other. "However if you're occupied, you can continue with your day. I apologize if I interrupted any plans you had for the evening." The animated male took a step back, folding his hands behind his back as he tried to cool himself down. Realizing how overwhelming he had gotten when too excited or desperate for something,

Kari stared at the boy flashed him a toothy grin. The boy had canines that were pretty visible. Kari thought is was kind of cool. The boy tilted his head slightly. Kari shifted the books in his arms. They were starting to get a bit heavy. He would need to put them down soon.
The boy asked him if he was occupied at the moment. Kari looked down to the books in his arms. "No. Not at all. Well not too occupied. I am just here to return these books I borrowed." Kari smiled at the boy. The boy introduced himself with the name of Galahad. "Oh. My name is Kari Takahashi. Your name sounds really cool too."
Kari looked up at Galahad as he explained what was going on and pointed to a book. Kari glanced over to the shelf he was pointing to and nodded. The boy finished explaining what he needed Kari to do.
The boy then explained to him that if Kari was busy he could carry on with his day and apologized if he had interrupted Kari's plans. Kari shook his head. "No it is ok! Let me just return these books right quickly and I will help you out." Kari walked over to the desk and checked the books back in with the librarian and walked back over to Galahad.
Kari looked up at the boy with a determined look. "Alright! Let us get you that book!" Kari smiled and waited for the boy to tell him what book he needed to grab.
