Quinn happened to pass by the great hall, When she heard some noise coming from inside. 'Right wasn't that regigios party thing happening today?' Quinn thought to herself. Quinn did not plan on going, She was not religious and she thought she would be out of place. 'Well if i'm here now, Might as well walk in' She let out a sigh, as she pushed open the doors to the great hall.
When the doors where open she immediately saw a table of snacks. With a bunch of snacks. Quinn did not look around to see if she knew anyone there. She felt hot. 'Why did I come in here? I don't know a thing about religion, What was I thinking? What if I offend someone with my lack of knowledge?' She felt sweat on her forehead. So she tried to wipe it away at it with the sleeve of her shirt, It was white with black stripes.
Trying to ignore her nerves she walked to the snack table. Taking deep breaths as she went. 'Out of all things that make me nervous why is religion? It's stupid, Maybe this will not make you as nervous?' She thought as she grabbed a Pumpkin Pastie.

It had been a relatively normal day for Sienna, if one could call a single day at Hogwarts normal. The weather outside was finally beginning to reflect the coming spring and summer months. She was greatly pleased by this, for although she much preferred the rain, the sun was not something she would shy away from. She had just come in from the outdoors, where she had taken a rather pleasant walk around the grounds before returning to the castle with the intent to head back up to her dorms. There was a growing stack of books she wanted to read that rested beside her bed. Now all she wanted to do was to go back up there and dive into the pile of books and spend the rest of her day reading.
The low buzz of many people talking reached her ears as she passed by the Great Hall. It wasn't a rare occurrence, but something about it certainly sparked her interest. She cautiously entered through the large double doors of the hall and saw many people mulling about the room. It seemed as if some event was going on, but she had no clue as to what it might be. Sienna tended to ignore announcements about events involving large amounts of people and, for that matter, small amounts of people too. She tended to avoid people in general, so it wasn't surprising that she hadn't known what was going on here today.
She entered against her better judgement, and walked through the groups and clusters of people standing all throughout the room. She couldn't tell what the gathering was about just from walking through the room though. The Gryffindor had just decided to leave the room before she was noticed and forced to stay, when she took a step backwards and almost ran into another person. By the looks of it, the other was a first year too, and she didn't look any more confident than Sienna felt. Even though all of her internal feelings were telling her to leave, she decided to try and talk first.
"Hello," she greeted. "Do you have any idea what's going on here? I just stumbled upon this, I wasn't sure what it was..." she trailed off softly. She hoped the girl she was speaking to would know what all this was and be open to sharing. Though the meeting would most likely not last long, for Sienna would probably leave soon after she got the answer to her question.

As Quinn was eating her Pumpkin Pastie she felt something bump into her, Quinn nearly jumped out of her skin. It wasn't a large bump, but Quinn was lost in though. She said hello and asked what the gathering was about. Swallowing her Pumpkin she said not looking at the person"oh uhh. hello, umm this is like a religious thing? For students to learn about other religions, I-Im not religious myself but I heard the noise and came in for some reason." She gave a very nervous laugh.
Looking up she saw a girl, Most likely a first year. She had very long dark hair, Her skin was pale. Quinn was avoiding eye contact by all means possible. "Why are you here? if you don't mind me asking" She looked up to the girl her eyes were a bluish gray. Quinn grabed antoer pastie. 'I sounded like a nervous reck, I hope she doesn't think i'm weird..' She thought as she wiped her forehead with her sleeve again.
Quinn finally looked around and saw some people she knew, Like Bailey, Mei, Colin, She even saw Kim around the snack table as well. He was with one of the girls form the clumsy club. Quinn could not remember her name.

Sophia stood comfortably close to Kim. So close, in fact, that their arms were only inches apart. That closeness made her feel a bit lightheaded, but that was probably because she was hungry, so she reached for the snack table and continued stuffing her face.
"Crowds bothering you too?" he asked as he scanned the table they previously sat at.
"I hate crowds," she answered Kim with a frown, "I just start to feel like there's so many people, and I don't know who to listen to, or who to talk to, and it just starts to hurt. But not, like, a headache. It's hard to explain."
She felt a bit awkward, complaining like that to Kim. Normally their conversations were much more lighthearted, and focused more on candy and whatnot. To become so real, so vulnerable in front of Kim was something Sophia hadn't experienced before. She wasn't an idiot. She knew she was usually the 'comic relief' of their friend group. She was clumsy. She was a glutton. She was silly. She didn't like being anything else because she didn't like the idea of opening up to people just to lose them later. She'd certainly lost friends before, and the idea of being vulnerable to someone else was scary to her.
But with Kim, well, she couldn't resist. She cared about him, beyond this little crush. She cared about him as a person, and she trusted him. Their friendship was made to last. She was sure of it.
"Do I wish? Yes, I do wish sometimes. But not for minor things like that."
Speaking of opening up, this could be a golden opportunity for Sophia to get Kim to open up. To learn a bit more about him. Would he think she was too pushy and stop wanting to be around her? Surely not! He was so sweet to her. He would never abandon her!
"So what do you wish for?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly. She felt strange being so raw with her emotions, but it felt nice.
Before AngelFyre's apology, Sophia found herself in a comfortable silence with Kim, but because of the topic on everyone's mind this evening, she had to ask.
"Kim, do you believe in God at all?"
She was Catholic, of course, but she'd never thought to ask her friends about religion. She knew that other people believed different things, and she was happy to not be pushy with her own faith. But Kim was important to her, so she at least wanted to know to sate her curiosity. Maybe he was a Christian, and maybe he wasn't. Either way, she could learn something today, and that made her happy.
Then, AngelFyre's apology came and went, and Sophia made her little teasing remark about Kim and boys in general, but Kim must have fundamentally misunderstood her meaning, because his next words sent a shiver down her spine.
"Why would you assume they would be boys? If you're going for what-ifs, we could have had a boy and a girl. That or twins, twins can be cute too."
Sophia's face could certainly get redder, but only because of how pale it suddenly was. Had Kim really just said that? Sophia looked around to make sure no one was listening and grabbed Kim's arm, pulling him away from the snack table and even further from the crowds. Her lips were dry, and her pulse was racing, but she had to clear the air with him.
"N-no, that's n-not what I meant a-at all! I m-meant b-boys in g-general! N-not o-our boys!" she whispered harshly to Kim, feeling slightly woozy. Her legs felt like Jell-O, and she didn't like it. Her stutter was worse than ever, and years of speech therapy as a child were rendered invalid as her words failed her. How did Kim manage to do this to her so easily?
Scratch that, she knew how, and she didn't like it. She knew that in the past, she could talk Kim into doing anything for her, but at this rate, he was going to have her wrapped around his finger. She had to regain control, but she was becoming a stammering mess every time they talked.
This wasn't good.
She was feeling dizzy, and for a moment her vision even blurred. She was unable to focus on anything but his pretty, pretty face. She grabbed onto Kim's arm to avoid stumbling to the ground.
"S-sorry, m-must have been s-something I a-ate," she lied, hoping he wouldn't catch on.
Oh, golly, she had it bad.

She had read the notice about religion and coming together to share their experiences, no matter the background.
Problem was, Amber wasn't even regular religious. Like, her family didn't believe in God or go to church or anything. Her da had never been interested, he had been raised in a magical family who didn't even worry about such things. Her ma had left the church as a teenager, just no longer finding that it served any purpose in her life. And that's okay. Religion isn't for everyone. Amber had a hard time thinking that some invisible, mystical being took care of things but that was her own opinion. She was open to listen to what others would say about their beliefs.
Everyone was valid, right? That's what she had been taught by her parents. Even if she thought someone's words or actions were wrong, she had to know that they believed their reality to be the right one and she had to respect that.
Thinking about it, had she ever stepped foot into a church...? Well, the very small community she was from certainly had one and she had heard the bells going on Sundays. Wasn't enough to draw her away from the farm or start singing hymns, sadly.
So yeah, no personal experience but Amber didn't feel like she was missing out. However, she was curious to know more about different religions and their practices. She felt it would be a good way to get to know her fellow students and respect them. It might not be something she understands right now but if someone was willing to teach her, then she was willing to learn.
The Great Hall was chock-a-block with students and Amber eagerly joined them. She could hear snippets of conversations already and wondered how much she might have missed. Her best chance, she figures, was to just find some students from her own house and join them. So she squeezed in next to a few of them and hurried to help herself to some food while she found the right chance to join in.
Someone was talking about understanding, a bit down the table and Amber wondered if he was already religious. She didn't even know if religious people had a certain look to them - where they content all the time? Knowing that they had a God or something on their side? She thought about this as she bit into a cream bun, chewing thoughtfully.

Kim reached out and took a plate and filled it with every single type of snack.
As more and more people entered the place, it would get a lot harder to move around soon.
He didn't want to have to get involved with heavy crowds, that would definitely send him straight out of the place. And as much as he wanted to do so, the errand hadn't really started yet, or had it? The professor hadn't really responded to any of their questions and until they did, Kim wouldn't leave. As Sophia explained why she didn't like crowds, her explanation sounded a lot like his, albeit less severe. He nodded. "I know what you mean." Kim said.
If Sophia had this problem, he could just pretend his condition was the same as hers. She didn't need to know it was much worse. As the girl looked up and him and asked what kind of things he would wish for, Kim smirked. "...to - " Kim started to say but was cut off when someone bumped into him from the side. Lovely, and now the snack table was starting to get crowded. Hopefully, the newcomers wouldn't linger here and go take a seat at a nearby table.
He glanced around to see that more people had entered the already crowded Great Hall and were migrating to the snack table. But this time it wasn't because they wanted to get close to him. So that was a bit relieving at least. As Sophia seemed to overreact to his teasing, Kim couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction. "Hey, you were the one who started it, with your talk about our boys!" He said, deciding to keep bringing the matter up from now on.
It was rare that Sophia would flirt, even it had been unintentional.
So he wouldn't let this rare chance go.
The stutter she suddenly had was cute and Kim smirked at her, letting his blue eyes flicker over her. But then she ended up stumbling and almost fell, reaching out to grab hold of his arm. "It's fine, as long as it's you." Kim told her, making an exception for once. Holding onto his arm wasn't bad, it didn't make him feel nervous. She'd done it before. Now if she'd tried to cling onto him from the front, it would have been a different for the pink haired boy.
Having someone's face near his own was a bit too close for comfort, something Stalker seemed to be completely unaware of. Or he was aware of it and just didn't care. "You should have something to drink." Kim told her, looking down at Sophia, not wanting her to pass out or anything from being too dehydrated and wondered if she was partially claustrophobic. When people hated crowds, sometimes they also had partial claustrophobia.
The last thing he wanted was to see Sophia faint.
Kim glanced around them and saw that Simon had just walked into the room.
He raised a hand in Simon's direction, greeting him and then watched as he reunited with AF. Oh, did he know her? Of course he did, he was one of Hufflepuff's prefects. They usually tended to know everyone and AF was a Hufflepuff too. The two seemed to chat and then went over to the table Kim and Sophia had recently disappeared from. Well, at least they hadn't stayed around the snack table. And from his current vantage point, Kim could see everyone.
Everywhere.
Which was nice because it meant he didn't have to be social and could just watch and listen.
Two things that Kim excelled at. As a new girl Beatrice Langstreth entered the fray, she grabbed some stuff from the snack table and made her way over to a table to sit down.
This was a normal action but the reason why Kim had noticed was because on the girl's plate had been chocolate fudge. And there hadn't been that particular item on the table before. WHERE WAS THAT DELICIOUS TREAT?! Kim quickly perused the table and then spotted the sweet, it had taken the place of one of the empty dishes. He zoomed over to the section and picked up a few pieces, along with refilling his plate with more hot meat pies and chips.
Of course, he also picked up some more pumpkin pasties and water was refilled into his glass.
Kim's metabolism was REALLY good.
He could eat all the unhealthy food he wanted and never gain a single pound on his body for some reason. Back in the past, his classmates had envied that about him.
Around this particular time, Bailey came up to the snack table and Kim's lips twitched into what could almost be called a smile. He let his eyes flicker over the girl as she approached and inclined his head towards her. "You coming for the food, or using it as an excuse to get away from the crowds?" He asked with an arched brow. This was all Bailey's fault, she'd dragged him into this! She didn't get to copy him! Kim glanced across the snack table.
More familiar faces appeared to him. Sienna and Amber were here too now. "Yo." Kim said, raising a hand in their direction. "Nice to see you here, Sienna, Amber. You two come to enlighten your mind or you meeting someone?" He asked, curious. Sienna was from the Goosebumps Club Kim was part of and he'd met Amber almost a year ago after the Sorting Ceremony. And even Quinn was here, from both the Prankster & Clumsy Clubs.
But it seemed as if she and Sienna were chatting, so he wouldn't interrupt them. That was when Kim spotted a cream bun Amber was eating and his eyes widened a bit. "AH!!! Where did you get that one??? Did I miss another one?" Kim exclaimed, his eyes flickering around the table, trying to spot the cream bun section. He couldn't keep track of all the delicious snacks that kept appearing, but he supposed that was magic for you. Great magic.
Kim licked his lips.

Mei sat down again. Nope there was no way she was going over there. She was surely going to end up saying something negative or something they wouldn't like and the entire group would become upset with her. She sipped another cup of lemonade and just watched everyone interact. If only her father would have just stopped owling her she wouldn't be like this. She wouldn't have become the negative person she did.
She munched on another pumpkin pastie. She jumped when she heard the sudden voice. She snapped her head to the voice. It was a slytherin boy. Did she know him? Surely he knew her because he knew her name. She studied him for a moment. His voice sounded familiar. Where did she remember him from? She thought for a second and her lips pursed together. Oh! It finally came to her. He was the boy who helped her on her birthday. What was his name? She knew it started with a C. Cole? No. Chris? No. Co- Colin! That was his name.
"Hi there Cole! Uhm.....That would be nice if I could sit with you guys. I think I would like it better than sitting by myself. And thank you for the very kind offer. I appreciate it. I don't think I would have been able to go over there by myself without someone inviting me. I don't always say....the most positive things."
She looked sincere and slightly nervous. She looked up as she saw him turn. Was he looking for someone? Then there was a girl who had brown hair. Colin saw her and invited her to sit with them. He stammered quite a bit. He smacked himself in the head. Mei's eyes widened in shock. She had never seen anyone purposely hit themselves like that.
She shook her head at his actions and finished her lemonade. She watched as they went to go sit. Without her. She sat back down and remained there. Why did she even bother to get her hopes up? Who would want to be friends with her anyway? She munched on some chips (english chips) and watched around again. She looked up as someone else came over. It was Bailey. She filled a plate with desserts and then sat next to her. She asked how she was.
"I'm doing great!" Mei lied through her teeth. She was actually quite bored and a bit lonely. "Oh I'm atheist. I'm just here to learn although i'm not doing very much learning sitting here by myself" Mei let out a small laugh before popping another chip into her mouth and munching. "Are you apart of a religion Bailey?" Mei looked at the blonde girl.

@Mei HagikuraWhen she joined Kim at the snack table, he teased her saying that she wasn’t allowed to hide from the crowd- because she was the one who brought him there. She smiled sheepishly at him and said “I didn’t realize exactly how many people who would be here. I… do not like crowds. I’m ok with a few people who I know, but not this many people. I get worried especially that I’m going to saw something that will offend someone- I HATE looking bad in front of others. So… I’m not going to abandon you here but I’m going over to Mei because … she looks lonely.”
Surprised that she had told Kim that -I never tell anyone that- it took me forever to tell my mum even- Bailey said goodbye and walked towards Mei.
When she asked how mei was, Mei responded saying that she was great, but Bailey had a feeling she might be lying. Deciding to ignore that, Bailey listened as she said that she was atheist, and was there to learn. Then she asked if Bailey was part of a religion. Smiling, happy that she had gotten a somewhat positive response out of Mei, she said “Oh ya! I am Catholic. Both of my parents are too!”Word count: 215 ish

She tried to smile as convincingly as she could as she listened to the girl explain what this was. Apparently it was a sort of religious event where students could learn about each other's different religions, or talk to others of their same religion. It seemed like a good initiative for the students and all, but it was certainly not something Sienna would come to by choice. Instead of joining a group to talk about religions, she elected to stay over by this girl, who clearly didn't know much about religions.
"Actually, that's the same reason I came in. I heard the noise of the crowd in here. I didn't know there was a religious event going on in here today," she said hesitantly. Really, she would rather leave, but there was a moral conflict that straight up leaving this girl completely alone would be quite rude. Perhaps after a bit of idle conversation she could slip away unnoticed. "Like I said, I heard the noise. I mean, I used to be religious, but, I don't know, I guess I kind of just stopped over the years." The real reason was much deeper than slowly falling out of it. However, Sienna didn't know this girl well enough to start sharing everything about her personal life. She didn't even know the other girl's name for that matter.
"So, if you aren't religious why did you are you still here? You could have left once you realized what this was, but you didn't. So, I think it's obvious that you want to learn about religion or you would have left." She gave the girl a small smile. Hopefully her words would make the girl feel less out of place here.
Just then, she heard someone say her name. She turned around to see Kim Sato, a fellow member of the Goosebumps club. A bit wary at all the people he was surrounded by she replied, "Hello Kim. I didn't even know what was going on actually. Just wandering by." She smiled friendlily at him as she had with the girl, but at the same time she was thinking about how many people there seemed to be in the Great Hall. Too many for her liking, that was for sure.

Please bare with me i am under the weather so my posts may not come as often as most. I will try and keep up as best as i can.
Jarael sat down at a table where there were several people talking. She saw Bailey and gave a nod. Once Extressia came over Jarael grinned. “Ayo Bloody Tres.” she giggled at her before listening to her talk about religion. Jarael spaced out a bit because religion is not something that was really practiced in her family. Although they were spiritual in a sense. Jarael pointed to the sky where the candles were floating.
“Stormy angels flap their wings, fly around the rainbow rings. If they smile on to you, the storm that comes passes over you.” Her blue eyes twinkled a bit as she said this then went back to looking at Extressia and those around at the table. That would be the closest that Jarael would get to talking about anything near religion.
Jarael squeaked in a high pitch voice as she saw Colin come to the table. He was asking for Extressia’s name. Jarael blurted out “BLOODY TRES!” with a squeak at the end. When Colin tried to talk to Jarael she saw some tears forming at the corner of his eyes. She looked at him then said “Waterfall oh waterfall shower over me. Let thy words give power to me.” She gave a gentle look almost heavenly as her piercing blue eyes gazed at him for a moment.
She listened as he said his fairy rhyme on them , taking his tongue. A smile came over her face. “Ooh fairies are so mischievous.” Her eyes peered toward a plate as he offered a pumpkin pastry. She smiled brightly as her eyes lit up on the pastry. “Ooh thankies Snakey boy!” She looked at Extressia. “Are you a brave lion? “
