Closed A New Friend PVSage Sheppard

"oh uh- hey!" he said sheepishly not really expecting the girl that bumped into him to actually say anything "my name's Sage Sheppard.. nice to meet you" he shook her hand "sorry if i seem a bit off im just kinda... new i guess you could say" he still hadn't settled in even now at the middle part of there year, he was unsure if he would ever settle in, as he looked at Bailey he realized that she was a raven claw and his whole demeanor changed "oh my gosh your a ravenclaw, my grandmother said i was always destined for your house.. but as you can see that did not happen" he laughed putting on a more charismatic tone to his voice "what class are you going to?" he smiled trying to make sure she was not late, because a wise ravenclaw like herself should never be slowed down by any thing, but... he didn't really believe that, his grandmother had just drilled all these facts into his head for the last two years before he started going that he just inherently believe them even if there from a time where the houses were very much more separated, then they are today. he wished he could make a club to make sure that the 4 houses stayed very much unified for decades onwards. but enough of this guff, he was just a first year how could he do something like that

As the boy introduced himself as Sage Shepherd and shook her hand, he seemed surprised that she had stopped to talk to him. He also seemed… off. He was new- Bailey had not seen him at the sorting ceremony and she figured he was either a transfer student or was held back from coming for some reason.
When he realized that she was in Ravenclaw, he lit up in excitement. Sage mentioned something about his grandmother saying he was destined to be in Ravenclaw, and that he ended up in Hufflepuff instead.
Laughing a little, Bailey smiled widely at the boy and said “You would have made a great addition to Ravenclaw. I, and the others would love to have you! Though Hufflepuff has some great people.”
When he smiled at her and asked what class she was going to, Bailey smiled in return and said “I’m headed to History of Magic. I really enjoy Professor Zahid al-Benghazi ibn Masoud’s lectures and I learn a lot. Thought that is probably an unpopular option- it’s very Ravenclaw of me. What class are you headed to?”
While waiting for a response, Bailey looked around. The students were only just coming out of their classes- she had probably 15 or 20 minutes till History of Magic started. Plenty of one to talk.

"i'm going to the library" he said before looking over at the people leaving ".. i like to write alot and so i've been going to the library a lot if you ever wanna find me im most likely there, i have nothing better to do until my next class so i sit in there for a half hour and just write" he found writing fairly calming, but he never really did it much as it reminded him of his mother , even then it was kinda peculier that he was writing since he had basically had the fantasy dream of a life time right as his hands, but he still did. he didnt find hogwarts boring , no far from it. but he just enjoyed writing a lot, atleast the times that he did write he enjoyed. "so... it seems like your team is really working hard for that house cup huh... i honestly dont care 100% since it's just a flipping trophy but it seems like everyone else does so... eh i thought i might as well ask " he looked at her, he wasnt that much taller than her now that he realized, but he was freakishly tall for his age so it wasnt to surprising

When Sage said that he was going to go to the library, Bailey smiled. She loved the library, and Sage did to- they were going to be the best of friends.
Curious, Bailey asked “Have you been to the library yet?”
As Sage mentioned liking to write and loving the library, Bailey made a mental note to visit him there at least once a week.
“That’s so awesome!!! I am definitely going to come find you there- I love the library. That’s very Ravenclaw I’d me thought!” laughing when she said the last part, Bailey smiled at Sage. He happened to be slightly taller than her, but he seemed rather gangly.
Then he mentioned the house cup. He noted that she and the Ravenclaws had worked very hard for it last month, and Bailey had to smile. Then he mentioned not really caring about it, and everyone else seeming to, and that was why he was asking.
“We did work for it… the Slytherins doubted that we could break their record so we had to prove them wrong. Also, I think… it’s kinda stupid at times; we are supposed to be United and people can get riled up about it. But it is fun and gives us a reason to do our homework and participate in errands and such.”
