Clair was planning for a nice day of reading, it was Sunday and she was ready to have a nice calm day, not much adventure for today, no, she was ready to have a nice slow day.Date: May 8th 2022
choosing to wear a old dress that was a pale green with Tree patterns on it, she picked out a book on Magical Animals, and a blanket to sit on, and started outside.
As she walked down the halls she decided that Comet, her bunny, might want to come. so she turned back and got her. She walked back down, with her Rabbit (dressed up in a small jacket) in her arms, she went outside.
Finding a nice shady spot she started to sit down, putting Comet on the ground she told her to stay, and then started to unfold the blanket, until she heard a small squeak.
she paused and listened.
Squeak!
There it was again! looking around she tried to find where the sound was coming from. she looked around the area.
for a while she did not see anything, but something was Squeaking.
After what seemed like forever of looking everywhere Clair Finally found the source, on the ground was a little baby squirrel, it's fur was red, with long tuffs lf red/orange fur coming from his ears. The poor baby. Clair bent down "Hey little buds, whats up?"

Marius was feeling rather lazy that Sunday, and really was not looking forward for tomorrow. Monday! Tomorrow would be Monday, the first of the five consecutive days of school. He did not want to go to school, did not feel like going there; all he wanted these days was to be back to his family farm, despite the fact that he had just been there for two weeks on Easter.
The Hufflepuff strode to the school grounds, his steps rather loud, creating a series of clack-clack-clack. "I don't wanna go back to school, I don't wanna go to school tomorrow," he sulkily said to himself, half-humming, half-murmuring.
His feet stopped abruptly at the sight of a girl in an old dress bending down, not because her attire looked that worn or ugly, but because she seemed to have been in the same position, frozen, for quite a while. Was there anything interesting? Or was she hurt?
No, a squirrel was hurt. At the sight of this, Marius felt like crying. He had no clue how or why, he did not even get tears in his eyes during Up or Inside Out. But animals were different. Sinking beside the fellow student, Marius was tempted to lift the squirrel in his hands and cradle it. "What happened to him?" he asked the girl, voice choked.

Clair had been completely into looking at the baby squirrel, so she bad not noticed the boy come up, sure she had heard movement, but of course that could have just been Comet moving around.
Jumping slightly when he spoke she quickly recovered herself.
"I'm not really sure, I just found her a few moments ago, I think she might have fallen out of her nest." Did squirrels have nests? Well if they did not before they did now!
She reached in the pocket of her dress, beside her wand was a rabbit treat. Pulling it out she put it in front of the squirrel, the little squirrel took it in it's paws and started to chew, "Good Baby" she cooed to it, not caring if the boy thought she was dumb for talking to a squirrel, right now all she cared about was the animal, she would deal with what the boy thought about her later.
She tried to think about what spells she knew that could maybe help the poor thing if it was hurt, but nothing she could think of would work on a living thing, most the spells, no all of the spells that could fix things had been highlighted that it would turn badly on animals.
So Spells would be out of the question, the good ol' muggle fashion would have to work, she had helped many animals on her farm in Carlisle.

Even though Marius grew up with cows, horses, pigs, a cat, and a dog at home, he had never been in charge of healing in wounded animals. He could not even recall if he had ever tried his hands on handling such problem; usually he was responsible for feeding them and other farm chores that did not directly have something to do with animals. It was a pity because he loved them and would like to spend more time around them, but Mum was the only one to take care of the ill and wounded ones. (Still, it was lucky that these were extremely rare to happen in their farm.)
He watched in awe as the dark-haired girl next to him gently taking care of the wounded squirrel. Did she really know what to do? He hoped so. He had heard that performing a wrong treatment often caused more harm than doing nothing at all, and the Hufflepuff would hate it to happen to this poor creature.
"Do you think we should take it to the CoMC professor?" he asked for the other student's opinion. "I heard that there was a service for animal treatment in the CoMC area, maybe we can try finding the teacher or a volunteer there."
