When Noah spoke up Bailey did not miss the fact that he almost called her “homework theif”
“Really Noah? I didn’t steal your homework. You literally handed it to me!” Bailey said, sighing at his working.
“And sure- I won’t tell anyone about this. But what are we doing?”
I think… she might be irritated by me Bailey thought about Sienna. she should really loosen up and not be so negative. I wonder why she is so… private and negative. Does.. what if she had or has some kind of trauma?

When Noah finally spilled the beans so to speak and said that he wanted them to to be part of his team. He asked if she, Bailey would be willing to design the scream, the newsletter for the goosebumps club.
It sounded like a lot of fun, and Bailey was only a little hesitant. After Kim excitedly agreed and Sienna voiced her opinion, Bailey spoke up saying “That sounds like a lot of fun! Will I be the only graphic designer or will there be someone else too? And who is the other person who is coming?”
While asking about the final person who supposedly was coming, Bailey glanced around, looking at the door.

Ari was not one to run late. But today, he was running late.

He couldn't ignore the headache that had settled behind his eyes, and at some times, the pain would come so sharply, it would make him dizzy. Despite this, he kept to the invitation he had received. It was an invitation from Noah, his 2nd year friend, probably pertaining to the Goosebumps Club, a little thing he had created and that Ari had joined willingly. A mild type of horror, but horror nonetheless. That is what had attracted him to what his friend had done.

So here he was, finding himself arriving outside of the lavatory on the fourth floor, cringing at the thought of meeting up in a bathroom. Why such a place as this? There were much more sanitary places to meet up with people.

Ari pushed the door open, taking a moment to attempt to catch his breath. "Forgive my delay," He panted, pausing once he caught sight of Bailey and Kim as well as Noah and another Gryffindor girl he did not recognize. "I see I'm not the only one who received a letter. Perhaps you'd like to explain the meaning of this club meeting? And why on Earth are we here of all places?"

Kim nodded as Sienna spoke of how she didn't want anyone to know she was writing articles.

Secrecy. He completely understood, although didn't know why it would bother her when it came to writing articles. They weren't going to be writing articles that would get them in trouble, were they? If so, he might have to reconsider taking part on this too. He couldn't afford to cause trouble and have it get back to his parents. Before, Kim had acted as if he hadn't minded becoming one of the writers. But it wasn't as if he'd been overly enthusiastic.

After all, writing articles was not something Kim had ever done before. He hadn't even considered doing it because it wasn't anywhere in his general wheelhouse. But he'd always been up for doing and trying out new things and that was why he'd ended up agreeing to the offer. It was around this time that the door was flung open and Ari entered the bathroom, breathing heavily as if he'd run the whole way. Oh, so he was the one they'd been waiting for?

Interesting.

Kim wondered why Noah had picked them over any of the others.

"Long story short, Noah is the writer of the Scream newsletter and he wants us all to help him write articles and do graphics for it." He told him, summing it all up in one sentence. "We're all trying to decide if we want to do it." Kim added. Even though he'd agreed before, now he wanted to make sure of something that only Noah could relate. "These articles aren't going to make us get into trouble, are they Noah?"

It was the only reason that he could see as to why Sienna wouldn't want her name to be associated with the articles. Because writing for a newsletter was a respectful position.

Even if said newsletter was relating to Goosebumps.

Wondering what the newspaper would do to get them trouble, Bailey thought Sienna had a good point.
Hu… I can see why they want secrecy. That’s understandable Bailey thought as sienna asked if their names would be published as well. As a graphic designer, Bailey wasn’t sure that she would get it trouble, or whatever, but still- it was a good question.
Then Ari walked in. Bailey smiled at him, as Kim summarized what Noah had just said. Bailey then wondered is Ari going to write articles or be a graphic designer… I really hope I’m not the only graphic designer. Honestly… I have no experience - why did Noah pick me?
Deciding to say hello to Ari, Bailey smiled at him and said “Hey Ari! How have you been? And Noah… picked here of all places because he said it ‘suits the occasion. How a lavatory is related to the goosebumps club or the books, I have no clue. Ask Noah.”
With that, Bailey opened her book again and continued reading. She would do so until someone spoke up; she would just to it to be respectful, as she was a very respectful person.

It struck Noah that he wasn't paying much attention, but again, he felt that he needed to hurry this along, because while this was intentionally just going to be Noah informing the others that they got the role... Noah had to feel ashamed. He missed some things, since he last heard Bailey say, "Ask Noah."

He had a ton of cuss words in his head, and Noah couldn't say any of them. He wasn't that kind of person. Who would do that? Who has the skill, the ability to put up with Noah if Noah said every word that came to mind.

He had to think for a minute. He thought maybe he could salvage something. But no, if there were any questions, they would have to ask him in the future.

"Alright my guys, I think it's time we go back. There's no point in getting in trouble already, right? We did just start the club. C'mon, please don't be mad at me." Noah said, walking out of the door.

He headed back to his dormitory, hoping to have some dreams of phoenixes, instead of possible humiliation that could come for him the day after. It wasn't impossible though.
