Wanna build a snowman?

when Judith woke up, she saw that the snow was laying really thick this morning. It had been freezing and snowing for a few days now, and Judith hadn't been outside to much yet. Classes where all she was doing lately, hanging around in the library, doing homework or reading. But today she would go outside. That's what she had promised herself. She wouldn't be staying inside any longer. The weather was gorgeous, she loved snow. Her favourite season was spring, because of all the flowers and butterflies and just the beauty of spring. But the snow was one of her favourite things. It was cold, and so much fun to play in!
She got dressed and decided to head out early to the grounds hoping that it was calm for her to enjoy the snow.
She made sure she was duffed in pretty well, grabbing her winter coat and her scarf, so she wouldn't get a cold and become sick because that was the last thing she wanted right now. Once she walked out of the castle onto the grounds she noticed that a few students were hanging around already, this early in the morning. But at this point, she didn't really mind. She was glad she got to spend some time in the lovely snow. She laid down on the snow and started making a snow angel.

Wanna build a snowman?

Christmas wasn't an as important holiday to Everly's family, but they did celebrate it; hanging up decorations, baking cookies, gifting presents to one another. She'd already prepared presents for each of her family members; a new book in a series for Adeline that she knew her sister had talking about for ages, new cloaks for Charmaine, and a funny little trinket that Gabby had told her about - a 'camera,' was what she called it. The two didn't get to spend that much time together over summer break, as Adeline had been away doing who knew what, and Everly was exuberant to hear of the blonde's return to the house. It would be just like last year; the four of them, drinking eggnog (which was a Muggle drink Everet had found the previous year that Everly adored) and unwrapping presents.
She couldn't wait.
The colorfully wrapped boxes sitting in Everly's dorm had been waiting for a while now, and would have to for a bit longer, as that wasn't for another week or so. Everly was starting to get impatient, but she knew that once winter break started, it would pass by like a second. She wouldn't be able to register that it was over until it was actually over, and felt like a fever dream. She had to be patient.
Until then, she could appreciate the multitude of snow that had fallen upon the Hogwarts grounds. She remembered an errand she did the previous year, in which she'd tried something called building a snowman for the first time (which had gone rather successfully). While there wasn't an errand, she might as well try again - it was fun, and Everly needed something to do.
As she trudged through the snow, she spotted a lone first year Ravenclaw making a snow angel. Upon getting closer, she tried to recognize the girl's face, but failed to connect face to name; it was someone she'd never seen before. Did she know what a snowman was? If not, then Everly would be happy to introduce her to the wonderfulness that was building a snowman - and, on the way, hopefully make a new friend.
