NPC Request Closed Until Further Notice

The Bloody Baron is the House Ghost for Slytherin and was someone with a grisly past and a bad temper. According to Nearly Headless Nick, the Baron easily spends his time in the Astronomy Tower groaning and clanking his chains of penitence.

Helena was Rowena Ravenclaw’s daughter who met an untimely demise after fleeing with the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw. She later would become “The Grey Lady” and Ravenclaw house’s ghost.

The Friar was a noble man who would devote his life to religion and the people he came across. Unfortunately, his generosity would be his undoing and he was executed for being accused of a crime for curing diseases with ‘a stick’.

Myrtle Warren was a Hogwarts student who had her life tragically cut short while she was attending the school, and is now one of the ghosts that wander the halls. However, she can be found specifically in the second-floor girl’s lavatory.

Ser Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington was a graduate of Hogwarts who was executed in his later life for a mishap with a muggle. The execution did not go well, as he was left partially beheaded. This earned him the name “Nearly Headless Nick” and his eventual title as Gryffindor’s house ghost.

Many believe that Peeves is a manifestation of the children’s mischief. He already existed before Hogwarts was even fully finished and has been a longtime resident. Peeves is a troublemaker and will get into all sorts of trouble with or without the students.

Cuthbert Binns was previously a professor at Hogwarts who had passed away without warning and his spirit had remained often in the History of Magic classroom. He can be seen often droning on about Goblin Rebellions and Giant Wars, usually boring the students.

The nurses work in the Infirmary Wing to ensure that any student that passes through their doors gets the necessary care that they need. They are often very skilled witches and wizards who know a great deal about healing magic and potions among other means.

The Librarian works in the Library of Hogwarts, making sure that the books are well taken care of and that no children are sneaking into the Restricted Section or eating in the Library. The Librarians of Hogwarts are known to be quite strict about setting rules in their Library to ensure the safety of their beloved books.

House Elves, or just Elves, are a race of beings. Some of which happen to work within the walls of Hogwarts as the hired staff. These creatures are humanoid and look like very wrinkly old men. They can be found all over Hogwarts, but mostly in the kitchens. Whatever you ask for, chances are that the house elves will be happy to oblige.

Students at Hogwarts can be in one of the four houses and in one of seven years. Student NPCS cannot provide tangible benefits to players. They cannot assist in learning, they cannot provide valuable information, but they can act like typical students, providing friendship, causing issues, or doing other childlike things. This does not apply to family members or general NPC friends. Feel free to make those on your own accord.

The paintings at Hogwarts are like most paintings in the wizarding world-- endowed with the ability to move between pictures, and talk like any human would. They are able to interact with the wizards around them, although they strictly imitate the person within the canvas.
