Evasion Bonus: 5 + 7 x 0.25 = 7 / 2 = 4 (all results rounded)
Effects:
- Santario has a +4 to her evasion for this rounds rolls.
- She is no longer disarmed.
Willow was thrumming with excited, standing on her tippy toes trying to be able to peer into the fog, she should really ask Galton for some tips. Santario was searching for her wand, reasonably, but she was still able to keep an eye on the spells coming at her. Pericles took advantage of this and sent another Wind Jinx her way. Even despite her extra caution while searching she wasn't able to dodge it, a crouched Santario being caught in a strong wind gust that would throw her off balance.
Illowy went after Pericles again even though the fog made it harder to aim. Despite the boy being off kilter his eagle eyes saw the spell coming and he was able to dodge out of the way. It was a battlefield of strong wixes. Thomas made sure to get rid of their disadvantage, casting the weather-modifying countercharm to dispel the fog. Willow silently thanked him so she could have a better view.

Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 3
Lost in that eerie fog, Pericles would proceed with keen calculation (and a bounty of dice luck). He knew where the wand had landed, where Santario would be headed, committing that place on the piste to memory before they were blinded by Nebulus. He took a gamble, straining to listen as he aimed. "Ventus." The spell billowed through the murk. In that moment, he heard another headed his way in the wake of Illowy's voice. As he dropped into a deep crouch, the lad felt her Flipendo narrowly breeze by overhead, rustling his pale hair. A huff of air was breathed in relief. Thankfully, Tom wasn't going to let them stay lost in the sauce, dispelling the fog and clearing the way. Pericles cast a hasty smile towards him as he commended "That's better!" They had a clear shot at their opponents again... but so did the witches.

Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 3

These early rounds always felt so... primal. Teams sizing one another up, gauging each other's capabilities for the duel. Or maybe that was simple how she felt. There was always some advantage to be gained in getting an idea of how your opponents would act, and as one of the lad's took aim at her partner once again and the other cleared the fog, Illowy couldn't say that she was terribly surprised how this was all unfolding thus far.
"Quick lad." she smirked, hardly about to show her disappointment in seeing her target unscathed and crouched about like a toad. How undignified.
She'd seen about all she cared to see, nor allow the boys to think they were gaining any real ground. The older girl passed a glace at her partner, glad to see that despite the wind gusting at her, Martin at least had her wand back in hand.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 3

She needed to get her wand, and she knew it hadn’t fallen very far. Her eyes scanned the piste for the length of cherry wood, and just as she spotted it, she heard her opponents set their spells into motion. She didn’t have much choice but to try and dodge and brace as much as she could as she crouched down to snatch up her wand.
Just as she grasped it, another bout of wind engulfed her thanks to Pericles knocking her off balance; she used her free hand to catch and propel herself to an upright position. She just knew going against Dralt would be fun, and a smile played on her lips as she squared up the best she could in the blistering gales.

Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 3
Making quick work of the fog seemed like a natural choice for Thomas, he always held disdain for spells that obscured vision. Perhaps it was a lingering grudge from the previous year, when Willow had blindfolded him for what felt like half the duel because his shrimpy little arms couldn’t pry it off. At least in this case it was something that could be nullified by magic…
He’d occasionally cast a glance toward his partner, a quick status check. Tom knew that neither party had the upper hand just yet, it felt weird to hold his tongue.Action: As strategized!

Lightning Chance
Reducio
Santario: [d20: 4] → Fail
Illowy: [d20: 16] → Fail
Damage upon Success: 50 + 10 ARC × 10 = 150
This round was less successful than the first round that really set Willow's expectations high. But as good as these duellists were at casting, they were just as good at dodging. Pericles attempt to set Santario aflame but she was able to step aside and dodge it. Illowy had the same idea with her flames set towards Pericles but the young wizard could avoid it.
What Pericles could not avoid was Santario's well timed Knockback Jinx that hit him in the shoulder as he was dodging Illowy's spell. While it didn't cause as much damage as it usually did, it was still quite painful. Thomas set to creating a storm above the representatives of Slytherin, thunder ominously crackling and waiting to strike. This round, they were safe.

Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 3

Fire was not something she intended to get hit by today as she sidestepped Pericles’s attempt to set her aflame. It would not stop her from unleashing her own Flipendo though she would note that she barely managed to hit him. It was clear her last couple of duels as being a changeling really had made her rusty. Granted, when you were basically auto-piloted by the whims of a few giant slugs, that was bound to happen. Santario glanced up at the dark storm brewing above their heads. Having only seen a lightning storm pop off twice, it still didn’t bode particularly well.

Things were neither good nor bad, though Tom couldn’t help but feel a little offended that his partner was getting all the love thus far in their bout. He hadn’t the chance to show off all that much so far, just casting and generally remaining unimpeded throughout. It was annoying, really, to see his opponents seemingly pass him over… No sane individual would think of his situation in that light, but Thomas was a little dweeb with a Napoleon complex so that may have explained it to some extent.Action: As strategized!

Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 3

It was nothing short of disappointing to miss her target again, but at the very least she seemed to have manage to herd the lad into Martin's path. She'd take a win where she could find it. While Dralt seemed to have his hands full with them, the other boy stirred up his own bit.
Illowy's gaze lifted along with her partner's at the dark cloud forming over their head. The rumble of thunder and the threat of lightening loomed over the girls. This was a personal first for Illowy... honestly it was a bit more dramatic then she'd expected it to be. Almost comically so.

Pericles was unfettered when his spell went wide, maintaining confidence and composure, though his luck was wavering. The Ravenclaw dodged Illowy's Incendio, but could not bolt back in time to fully avoid San's Flipendo. It struck his shoulder with blunt force, eliciting a short gasp and a hard wince. Regardless, he had yet to be injured enough to slow down, and was rolling the offended limb simultaneous to raising his own wand. He reassured his partner subliminally, not sparing a glance away from their opponents as he remarked, I'm starting to regret asking you not to taunt them, Tom. I'm not at all used to such a quiet duel."
